Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.
About: I have taken care of animals my entire life. My family has involved me in the care of all of our family pets, including dogs of multiple sizes and multiple cats. I also have experience taking care of dogs and cats together. Additionally, I have experience caring for aquatic tanks and animals. I have owned tanks with betta fish for 5 years. I currently have two rescue cats of my own and am caring for my family’s beloved senior dog, an English Springer Spaniel. I aim to provide excellent pet care and friendly service to all pet families. I have very open availability at this time and am willing to work with clients to establish regular times for care. I will take care of your animals according to your specifications. I have supplies including extra leashes and waste bags if needed for care. I can either walk your animal right outside your home or transport them to my neighborhood for walks if needed.
About: I am very used to being around all types of different dogs. I have a high energy dog myself, and know the amount of time and level care our pets need! About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born, and my family has always had at least two dogs in our family at all times! I have also always been a trusted source when it comes to watching family, friends, and neighbors' animals! For example, I have watched puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, fish, and even guinea pigs. Two of my own dogs are Leader Dogs for the blind moms, so I have experience with all different kinds of situations and ages when it comes to dogs. I also have experience with elder dogs as I have had 4 dogs pass from old age and have experience with health problems in dogs as well. I currently do not have a job so I am available any day at any time. I do have a prior commitment from July 23rd-27th and I leave for college at the end of August. I have a ton of experience when it comes to safety and caring for pets. My dogs go outside with a leash on, especially during walks. If there is a fence for the pets to use I will keep my eyes on them at all times, because no one ever knows what can happen. I have experience with putting pets into a crate or cage if necessary.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 8. I love all animals but especially dogs. I’m an RN but in my free time I love being outdoors and going for walks. I work part time. So I have plenty of free time to spend with your beloved pets. I love going for walks and being active outdoor I have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks.
