“If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a wedding to go to in Hawaii, and the family members who would normally watch our pets for us were going too. I was worried about leaving my 2 dogs and cat for 2 weeks, especially with the 6 hour time difference and being so far from home. I wasn't so much worried about the dogs, but my cat is almost 18 years old. After the meet and greet with Kristen all my fears were put to rest. You can tell she has experience with pet sitting and that she truly cares about your pets. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my pets were in safe hands. My cat is relatively healthy for his age, but is on a couple of medications, and Kristen was able to give him his meds while he stayed with her. She regularly sent me pictures of my pets, with up-dates on how they were doing, and I could see that they were having a great time. The dogs loved lounging in her sunroom and spending time in her fenced in back yard. And my cat had a big cat condo that he loved napping on. I could not be more pleased with this booking, and I would trust Kristen again in a heartbeat to watch my pets. Highly recommend!”

About: My very first pet was a beautiful long-haired cat from the shelter; after finding out she was pregnant, we named her Momma Luna! She gave birth to 4 kittens; I was a lucky kid. I have babysat for kittens & adult cats alike. I have also had community cats come to my backyard for food & attention. Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! About: Growing up I’ve always had a love for animals. We had a range of different pets, you ask and I probably had one! I have worked a few years in a grooming salon. Friends and family have made me the go to person to pet sit for them when it’s needed. I enjoy it every single time and can’t pass up the opportunity. About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. We have experience letting ourselves into owners’ homes while they are away to feed, walk, and let pets out for bathroom breaks. We also have a large fenced in yard occupied by our very friendly golden retriever to share with dogs who will treat him well.

I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. After raising him, it's safe to say that I'm comfortable with puppy routines, basic obedience training, and how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs. What sets me apart is that I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality and comfort level so they receive the best care that fits their individual needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I am a mom of 2 college-aged kids. I work from home and have time and love to share. I have owned my own pets since graduating from college. My family has been blessed with multiple dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens. We no longer live on a farm but live in a very animal-friendly subdivision with abundant sidewalks for dog walking.
