About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 6 years. I’ve also worked for a dog daycare/boarding facility where I was trained in Fear Free dog handling. Outside of official pet care experience, I grew up with three family dogs! I work as a barista Monday-Friday 6am-12pm. My shifts are never longer than 6 hours, so accounting for travel time, I would be gone 7 hours at a time max. At my dog daycare job, I took courses on the “Fear Free” technique. Fear free techniques encompass a considerate approach, gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and creating a calm environment. Listening to the behavior cues of the pet is most important to me.

I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

Neighbors, family, and friends have always trusted me to watch their furry friends while they were away. I work part time at a school from august to may. About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. Having a flexible schedule just means I can spend more time with your furry friend and I don't have to be in a rush to get back to work. I have always pampered my pets. About: I’ve grown up caring for multiple dogs throughout my life, giving me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, and everyday care. I treat every dog like family and prioritize their safety and happiness. I am currently home from college for the summer. I do not have other responsibilities, so caring for your pet is my top priority. I am free every day to be able to feed, walk, and play with them. About: I've had animals my entire life. Dogs and cats! I take care of humans in the ER, and want to take care of my preferred kind of babies (fur babies) on my days off! I'm an RN! So I am working 3-4 shifts a week which leaves plenty of time to take care of fur babies on my days off! I will take care of my clients fur babies in ways that are preferred by the client! If that's stopping in for play time, snuggles, walks, etc! I can do it all!
“AMAZING! Spectacular! There isn’t a word to express how amazing Jason and Tania are! Kona was treated like a king :) Tania sent the best pictures and always let me know how Kona was feeling. She communicated every concern and showed how much she loves what she does. After a few walks she figured out his likes and dislikes and just let my pup do his thing whether that was rolling in the grass and just chilling or watching all the squirrels. Kona also LOVED Tania, you could tell by the pictures. I was always at ease knowing that Kona was being cared for so wonderfully. Not only are the best people ever, they are also extremely flexible and are amazing communicators. When ever I had a last minute walk needed or a change in schedule they were eager to help make that change. They will be Kona's number one choice for walks for life. ❤️”

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.
