About: Hi, I’m Angelica, a retired veteran and passionate pet lover who’s been dog sitting since 2017. After losing my service dog Buddy, I turned my love for animals into a mission to care for yours like family. I’m experienced with dogs of all kinds—puppies, seniors, and those with medical needs—happily administering medications and tailoring care to each pet’s unique personality. About: IMPORTANT— I will be in Connecticut from 12/20-1/3. All other dates I will be in Indiana. Unfortunately there is no way to specify location for specific dates in Rover. If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.

About: I’ve always always had a soft spot in my heart for animals. My parents have always had a ton, from a bunch of different breeds of dogs to pigs, to chameleons, to bunnies. I’ve always had experience with animals, it’s odd if I don’t have one around! I have a kitty named Nala and a Cocker Spaniel named Goose. They are my pride and joy! I feel as though pet care is just as important as self care. Animals are there for us, as our support, therefore, they should be taken care of just as well. Making sure that your animal is not only healthy, but happy is a priority to me! Having a routine and making sure that all needs are met is a must. I feel as though your home is also your pets home, therefore, enabling them to have their own space is important. Also, making sure your animal is fed and watered and stimulated and energized plays a large role. Playing with toys or running around in the yard are both great ways of stimulating the brain!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I love them all. I’m good about watching temperament in animals and making sure everything is going smoothly. I can do simple training like sit and lie down. I can’t wait to meet and love on your pup/senior. :) I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. My job is pretty lax when it comes to coming and going! I get an hour lunch break around 1:30. Once I’m off at 4 I’m usually home for the night, but if I’m not your pet will be with me or crated! Whether we are burning energy with interactive toys or cuddling on the couch, your pets comfort and routine come first. I provide fresh water always, stick to your feeding schedules, and will give update pictures throughout their stay!

About: Got my first cat when I was about 11 and convinced my parents to get another who ended up to be pregnant, I cared for her kittens for about 6 months before we gave up all but two of them and I've cared for those two and my previous two ever since

About: I’ve been a doggo lover my entire life. I got my first pup my senior year of high school and he’s my best friend to this day. At home I’m now a doggo dad of 4. Winston, Calvin, Winnie, & Junior. My daily experience of over 10 years has taught me how to handle everything from high energy zoomies to picky eater senior dogs (my chihuahua). About: Ive had dogs since I was a little girl. Ive taken care of special needs dogs of all sizes. People have relied on my to walk, feed, bathe, and play with their pets. My evening are free normally after 5 pm, and specific time during the day are also available. My weekend are completely free except Sunday nights. When watching anyones pet I always make sure that they have enough food, water, and make sure that they aren't hurt in any way. I will take them on walks and play with them plenty.

About: I would love to meet your fur babies. I'm retired from 35 yrs as a Social Worker. Now, I can pet sit full time. Call or text with any questions or to book my services! I'm able to come to your home while you're away! Whether you're working extra long hours or away on vacation, I can watch your pets when you are gone from home. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel. I don't charge per pet or per size fees either!

About: Prior to college I worked Noah's Caring Hands on Sunnyside Road as a pet care specialist. I worked there for almost 4 years, and I am experienced in all ranges of dog/cat ages and needs. Additionally, I have experience administering medication to animals and following specific dietary needs. I am experienced with daycare and boarding animals, and would be more than happy to care for your furry friend! I am available to cat/dog sit and walk for a majority of the weekends or evenings! I am pretty flexible after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I had a 17 year old dog whom I administered medications and treatments for throughout his long lifespan. Additionally I have a kitten. While my dog was alive he enjoyed hugs and kisses especially after medication time! After working with him for years and the other animals at the veterinary hospital I have become used to all age ranges and medical needs of each animal (cat and dog).
