About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I dog sit for my aunt all of the time and I care for my sisters dogs often. She has a full bred German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd Mix. I am very dependable and will take great care of your pet! I’m not working anywhere at the moment, I am a full time nursing student. I have classes two times a week ( Mondays and Wednesdays) and I have clinical once a week currently. I live in a condominium community; there isn’t a yard per say however there is plenty of space to walk your dog outside in the fresh air!

About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

About: We only take dogs up to 30lbs due to my daughter being afraid of most bigger dogs despite us having one of our own. We enjoy taking dogs on long walks in the morning and late afternoon, along with plenty of playtime throughout the day. We have a spacious 3-bedroom, first-floor apartment with plenty of room for a dog to feel comfortable. We also have a 1½-year-old son who loves animals, so your dog would be joining a loving family environment. We’re happy to accommodate dogs who need a little extra space or quiet time around our son. We usually walk around our neighborhood, but we also have a dog park in our apartment complex for extra exercise, socialization and play! Since I work from home, I’m with the dogs all day. Occasionally I go skateboarding in the afternoon for a couple hours, which is the longest the dogs would ever be home alone. We take Ori out twice a day and feed him in the morning and evening. Our home couldn’t be safer. Of course the door is always locked and we keep Ori on a leash the entire time that he’s outside. We make sure to keep any food or other things he shouldn’t get into off the floor and out of reach.

I adjust the amount and type of activity based on the individual dog's age, energy level, and personality. I operate a successful dog training and board-and-train business outside of Rover, giving me extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and needs. This includes puppies, seniors, high-drive working dogs, and dogs requiring additional structure or individualized care. My home is located on a fenced property with space for supervised outdoor time and enrichment. While currently a pet empty nester, my wife and I raised 3 Golden Retrievers over 30 years, all starting out with us as puppies. While new to Rover, I have a lifetime of experience with pets I grew up with, my family's pets and now occasionally over the last 5 years caring for my children's pets that include 2 cats and a reactive dog. I am retired and looking forward to devoting time to Rover. I also do volunteer work, but scheduling for that is flexible and will not conflict with Rover commitments. I will make sure your pets are fed, have water and potty breaks; and are exercised through appropriate play and/or walks in your neighborhood. I will show them affection through petting, belly rubs, ear scratches and cuddles; and by devoting all of my attention and time to them. I will also bag and dispose of dog poo and check litter boxes as needed. I will provide updates to the pet parents after each visit.
