But they also have the energy and organization skills to excel in handling their responsibilities. My dogs have 5 kids/teens to play with them, and that also makes them happy. Their new house currently only has a small enclosure in the back yard. But my furbabies were apparently taken out on a leash regularly. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.

“MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life, and I have done dog and cat sitting a few times over the years for neighbors or friends. I’ve had cats and dogs in my home since 2014, and I am very comfortable around both. I currently have a full time job; I work primarily in the mornings with evening shifts thrown in here and there. I don’t do much outside of that, so I am pretty available otherwise. I want to keep all pets feeling comfortable, following their routines/schedule, and keeping them company (within their boundaries). I have adopted 6 dogs and believe they should all be loved like your own. I have been a Foster parent as well for Wishbone Canine Rescue, so have had experience with dogs coming and going and needing a place to lay their paws. I have 2 dogs and a cat that are welcoming to your pets needs and they love company. My home is dog friendly in that they have full access to the house and furniture and beds as well as 2 dog doors to go out into the dog run or fenced in yard as they please. I do also have dog crates as well as a indoor walk in dog kennel if needed to use. I work from home and available for your pets needs as they need them. I have the ability to attend to the dogs needs 24/7 unless otherwise discussed. I have detailed below what are the definitions we use for our services. BOARDING: Your dog comes to stay with me at my house from your drop off time till your pick up time scheduled by you. This is a overnight stay so please bring all items and food for your pets to make them feel comfortable during their stay with us. Disclaimer: I strive to provide a safe environment for all dogs that stay with us. In order to do so I require proof of vaccination upon the initial meet & greet. That needs to include: Rabies Distemper Bordetella All dogs must be spayed/neutered. Also when booked and dropped off I will recommend you leave me with a back up person to contact in the event that any problems arise during the stay and you are out of town. DROP IN VISITS: I come to your house to visit with your dog. What is done is dependent upon what you set up and what you need. This could be just checking in to play, go on walk, feed, or let out to potty. This will all be determined upon what you need. Note- This doesn't include overnight stay in your house. Note- Two methods of entry are required to prevent lock-outs. DOG MEET AND GREETS: I require dog introductions be done ahead of time for first visits with me that entail staying at my house with me as I know dogs will be dogs. I will make a time that works for both of us to come to my home and have play date and see how it goes. I will also come to your house for a meet and greet if you schedule drop in visits, walks, etc. To allow for proper introductions and to make sure it is a good fit. About my pets- All of my dogs and cats are fully vaccinated and on heartworm medication and flea and tick. Proof of my dogs vaccinations available if requested. Pet Health and Vaccinations: - All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and in good health. - Please provide proof of rabies vaccination upon initial meet and greet. - If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, I will notify you and seek veterinary care if necessary. Any associated expenses will be your responsibility. Emergency Situations: - In case of an emergency involving your pet, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. - If I am unable to reach you, I am authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary by a professional. - You will be responsible for any expenses related to emergency veterinary care not covered by Rover.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. About: I have always had a dog in my house since I have been a kid. A house is not a home without a dog. I will treat your dog as if he/she were part of my family. I am working part time and want to spend some time with your dog. I work every other weekend as a nurse, and have some free time during the week to check in on your dog while you are away. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes & personalities. I’m not shy to specialized care needs and love to play, walk & give belly rubs! Services include drop in dog walks and play sessions and overnight pet sitting for short or long terms. I’ve cared for two large fluffy dogs with special needs for two months at a time. I also looked after a high energy chihuahua for three weeks, routinely walking three or four times a day to burn some extra energy! I work full time in Bloomington from 9-6, Monday - Friday. Walks will take place as late as 8am or earlier, during lunch break if you’re home is within 15 miles of Bloomington, and after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and I am comfortable transporting the dogs to a dog park or swimming spot if they do well on field trips! I’m more of a homebody and love to play and interact with animals in their home. Your house rules & pet care needs will be met with respect and understanding. Your dog’s boundaries, safety and needs will be prioritized. I appreciate cleanliness and will respect your home as if it’s my own.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish from the ripe age of 10! I have had animals from the size of teacup yorkies to the size of Rottweilers so size doesn’t challenge me. About: I make sure to do all the activities that your pup likes to do to keep them occupied. I feel leaving them. Home is better for their mental state than dropping them off somewhere where they don’t know where they are. Lots of loving and all of my attention goes to the babies while I’m there. I currently do not work and my schedule can be made mostly around the needs of the employer. My son is at school 8-3 but he would be willing to help with animals also. We have a fenced in yard but also go for walks. I have no problem with walking multiple times a day or whatever other needs the pet has.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

We have a fenced in yard for our dog Emmy, and if your dog comes to stay, they will be safe in the backyard, and will also be monitored by me while they're in the backyard. There is always someone home, so your dogs will never be lonely. Emmy LOVES to cuddle, and will play with your pet and make them feel welcome. Any dog that comes to my home, I separate dogs for feeding time, so there are no boundary issues. Your dog will be very loved here, and very safe with us. We do allow dogs onto furniture, and they are allowed on our bed, since Emmy sleeps with us at night. If you allow that with your dog, they are welcome to sleep with us and allowed on our furniture. I will follow whatever instructions you may have for your dogs.

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours.
