Highly-rated overnight sitters - Woodcrest
“Kelly is wonderful to work with and her home and yard are great for our two doggies. Kelly stayed in touch with us during our travel and was happy to accommodate our dogs little quirks. Highly recommend and already booked another visit. :-)”

“This was my first time using Rover and Melissa was very kind, responsive, and detailed with what to expect from the boarding process. She and her family took great care of our dog and she sent photo updates each day, which was very reassuring!”

“Stephanie was a wonderful sitter! She accepted a last minute booking for our two dogs and kept us updated throughout the whole time we were gone. Our dogs were very well taken care of and we will certainly be boarding with Stephanie again!”

“Highly recommend! Our shih tzu is adopted from a puppy mill and is a little quirky. He loved Mary and we could tell she took the time to get to know him and make him comfortable! Charlie had a great vacation at Mary’s!”

“Julia was the absolute best for my dog. Her laid back, calm, and kind personality was a huge hit with my older pup. Julia sent updates and pictures which put my mind at ease. I will definitely use her again. It was a wonderful experience.”

“Best experience ever! I would recommend Jessica over and over to any and all! As a military family it is hard to find someone to trust with your furry family members but our pup had the best life with cuddles and treats the whole time. He was cared for like he was one of her own.”

“I was so grateful to find Simone over the holidays, and even more relieved to learn she had already met my dog through her previous sitter (who was her sister). Such a small world! Simone and her family are wonderful, loving, and clearly experienced with dogs. I felt confident knowing my pup was in great hands, and she had an excellent time. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole was great communicating with us. Our big crazy puppy was taken with her at the meet and greet, didn’t even jump on her! To us that was a very positive sign. Nicole has dogs of her own plus had a few more boarding. Ca$h had his first chance of meeting pups his own size and did well.”

“Ashley was great with our little Yorkie and our little guy enjoyed playing with Ashley's sweet Iris. We received frequent photos and video updates. We were able to relax knowing that our dog was in good hands.”

“Nicole and Tim were great sitters! They were flexible, very quick to respond, and their home was very clean. They took great care of Quinn and I know she had a great time with them.”

“My pup loved staying a Bianca’s! She is super communicative and sent plenty of pictures. He looked so happy there! I had zero worries about my pup while he was with her. Will 100% be using her again!”

“I absolutely would recommend Jayde to ANY and EVERYONE! She was so good with my doggy. She shared pictures with an update every single night. She even got to sleep in Jayde's bed! Jayde honestly treated my baby like she was her own. She was honestly fabulous. I would use her 100 times over, if I ever need another dog sitter she will definitely be who I use! (if I could give her 10 stars I would)”

“We cannot begin to express how thankful we are to have found Christina and Garrett! We've never boarded our hyper, super loving, and anxiety filled pitty before and only ever done drop in visits in our own home. We wanted our girl to be able to socialize and get endless amounts of love while we were away but the anxiety/guilt we felt considering "boarding" weighed heavy on us...that is until we met Christina and Garrett!!! The initial meet and greet was extremely thorough and a control environment. Garrett even sat in the dirt with our princess to give her the love she needed to regulate while being introduced to other members. Their knowledge of training showed throughout this initial meeting. Their communication never lacked and you could see the love she received through the pictures we received daily. Our dog had so much fun, she stayed with them again for Thanksgiving! Absolutely recommend!”

“Jeena was truly amazing! She is so kind and accommodating. I had zero doubts my fur babies were in great hands. She sent me pics each day and communicated so well. I can tell how happy my doggos were with her during their stay. I’d def recommend booking with her!”

“Karen was awesome! I’m so happy I found a dog sitter I can trust. She’s not only good with dogs, but has a dog friendly environment that made my dog feel right at home. She also sent plenty of pics and kept me updated. Can’t wait to take a trip again and have a peace of mind knowing my dog is in good hands.”

“Tawnie is so sweet and took such great care of my baby while I was gone! She sent me pictures everyday and updated me on what was going on. This was my first time using rover and she made the process easy. I would definitely recommend her as the person to watch over your kitty while you're gone! :)”

“Jill did a great job, as always! Fantastic communication and I love the pictures she sends. Being able to trust someone with our animals while we are away has been a huge relief!”

“It was the first time out cat stayed in the house completely by himself, so I was a little worried. But Lauren took such good care of him. She kept me posted with Rover cards and replied to my texts very promptly, which definitely helped me be less concerned. The weather was quite stormy when we were gone, so Lauren wanted to make sure the kitty didn't get too scared from all the pounding outside. In my opinion, she is a caring and responsible person. Thank you for taking care of our kitty, Lauren!”

“It's great having Mallory look after my kitty! She's excellent with his care and needs, and makes me not worry about my little guy while I'm away which I really appreciate. 😺”

“Keri and her daughter were very friendly and helpful with taking care of our cat for a week. The pictures were great to see and she was responsive in answering questions. We appreciated them and their service!”

“Amber is amazing! I truly cannot thank her enough for how great she was taking care of my cat, Beans. He was pretty stressed when I left for vacation for a week and he wasn’t eating. After a few days, Amber took him to the vet and got him the care he needed. She is excellent with updates and communication. You can tell how much she cares. She really goes above and beyond expectations. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future and recommending her!”

“Mae always does an amazing job with my kitties! They followed instructions very well, sent lots of photos, and were very respectful of my space when they watched my cats overnight!!”

“Sterling was great! He always showed up within the given time window and gave my baby some love. I really appreciated the notes and pictures he’d leave on the Rover Card as well. Seeing that my kitty was being sociable and playing with his toys made me very happy. Also, I noticed in one of the pictures that Sterling took his shoes off in the house. I appreciated that SO MUCH because we are a shoes-off home to keep the floors clean. This booking was made because of a trip that was made on short notice, so Sterling being very easy to get in touch with made everything easy and worry-free. He was very personable and clearly knowledgeable about cats, so I felt safe leaving my furry baby with him. I would definitely recommend booking Sterling and I will be booking him again in the future! Thanks again!”

“Andy was a fantastic host to my cats over the holiday break! Very communicative and kind, and was super helpful with remaining flexible to my changing travel plans. Highly recommend.”

“Leanna responds pretty quickly and my cat loves to stay with her. She played with my cat, feed him, cleaned the litter box, and changed the water. It's pretty hot outside. She also helped me lower the AC to make my house cooler.”

“Our cat Luna was a pandemic kitty and thus, has some separation anxiety, but Yasmina was super patient with him and got him to come out of his shell! It was our first time having someone house-sit but Yasmina sent pictures and video updates of Luna that eased our worries, and she left our place as clean as she found it! She was also super flexible and we really appreciated that!”

About: I have had a cat for most of my life and have cared for family and friends cats as well. It was my job to provide enrichment for the cats at the apa as well as clean up their area and feed them. I love cats and am happy and confident that I can care for them!

About: I have been surrounded with dogs since I was born! My family had a golden retriever when I was younger, and we currently have an 11-year old corgi mix, an 8-year old labradoodle, and a 5-year old golden retriever. Finnley, the five year old golden, is my personal dog who I trained, walked, cleaned up after, and took care of. In addition, I lived with a 3-year old boxer last year who I helped take care of and spent a lot of time with. Besides my personal pet experience, I volunteered at the Partners for Pets shelters multiple times where I took care of dogs and cats. I also frequently take advantage of the Adopt a Dog for a Day option at the Oxford Animal Rescue Center whenever I feel overwhelmed or have a free day. Besides volunteering, I had a personal business at 15/16 where I watched both kids and animals for families in my neighborhood. I took care of multiple breeds and ages of dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. My availability is completely open until June 1st, when I will start a part time job at WashU! With that said, I am still available any weekday after 4, and all day Saturday and Sunday!! At my house, all of my dogs are trained to stay in the yard. All three get treats when they come in (because they are such good boys) and are fed twice daily. My older dog has gum issues that makes his teeth painful to use, so I put his food in water and let it soften so he is able to eat it pain-free. For walks, the two big dogs go on a joint leash and the smaller dog goes on a leash by himself. Distance wise, I take into account if the ground is hot on their paws and the temperature outside to determine how long the walk will be. We love to go to dog parks and play, as well as cuddle and lay out in the sun together.

About: I’ve owed and taken care of animals for decades. They are an indelible part of families and should be treated with an abundance of love. I am recently retired and have plenty of time to love and care for animals. Your pet will be treated as a member of my family. I have owned four dogs but they have all crossed the rainbow bridge. I have a fenced yard. Your pet will be allowed on my furniture and sleep in my bed (if they want to).
About: Hi my name is Diane, and I have been caring for dogs, cats, fish and birds most of my life. I will care for your precious babies just like my own. They will receive professional care, love, attention and affection. This is my full time job, if you can call it that. It's a blessing. So, your babies will get plenty of quality attention and companionship. My home is pet friendly and all safety precautions have been implemented. Your companions will be kept separate from my own for the safety of both parties. It has a king size bed and lots of windows for bird watching. I only book one family's cat or cats at a time. I have excellent reviews and references. Thank you for your consideration. This is my full time job. A labor of love. So, caring for your companions will be my top priority. You can feel confident and secure while they're in my care. I will accommodate your companions needs and your requests. All pets are kept safe and attended to at all times. I am trustworthy and reliable.

“Chico, my elderly Chihuahua, went to doggie daycare with Amy in Columbia for a couple of hours while I met friends for lunch. Amy has such a wonderful way with animals; you can tell she really loves watching them. She took lots of photos, have Chico lots of attention and even had a pet guestbook for him to sign. Such a cute idea. If you ever need a pet sitter, I highly recommend Amy.”

About: While my specialty is cats, I've also had a bit of experience with taking care of dogs. I recently started voulnteering at a local shelter to gain a bit more experience. I've also done some dog sitting for friends and neighbors. Currently, I don't have a traditional job so my schedule is super flexible. I'd be happy to take care of your fur babies any day of the week. I understand that cats have wildly different personalities and will do my best to make them feel comfortable while I'm around. I will spend time with them in whatever way they prefer, whether that's playing, petting or just existing quietly in the same space. With cats especially I do my best to be a calm and quiet presence and unless I have to give them medication or something where I have to get in their personal space, I usually let them come to me to reduce the risk of stressing them out.
About: Without having a ton of experience, I work well and will live up to your expectations! I love animals; I have two dogs and a kitty. I'm good with all different types! I'm a senior high school, trying to start a part-time job here. I've kept the same job for two years and have loved that experience working with kids! I'm good with keeping puppies safe on walks. My cavalier loves to go on long walks. Keeping a good eye of roads, what they step on, and what they eat!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I can play with them, pick up after them, bathe them and make sure they’re happy and well fed. And I can take the dog on short or long walks and make sure they’re happy and safe. Also for house sitting I’ll make sure the house is clean and any messes the dog makes is cleaned up as well I’m a student at an online university, but I am taking a break from perusing my BS in forensic accounting. So I have plenty of time to watch your pets. I have two dogs that I take care of with my family. And they are well cared for and I play with them throughout the day and feed them when they need to be fed.
“Meghan, I’m so grateful for you. You came into my home with such calm care, followed every instruction, and treated my fur family with genuine love. You took Arrow for a real walk, made sure everything was secure, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Knowing my home was safe and my dog and cat were so well cared for meant everything to me. I’m looking forward to having you back very soon.”

About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. I spend most week days free at home honing my skill set and arranging bookings. Therefore plenty of time to head out for walks, or break and enrich a dog's day with playtime. I have a fenced in yard and large living room. 1 dog, 8 month 40lb siberian husky girl who loves company and playtime. Also have a large crate if separation is needed.

About: I can do it all from big breeds, to small breeds; from happy breeds, to sad breeds. I’ve also got experience in tending to aggressive animals or animals who react out of fear so don’t worry! Growing up, I had an aggressive pup who people refused to come around and it made things hard on me, I want to give ALL pet parents a chance to feel safe knowing their aggressive or reactive dog is in good hands. I know the do’s and the don’t’s! Animals are a passion and if I could have every animal in the world, I would! Give me a shot to take care of your baby and you won’t regret it! I’m an active duty military member, but I work in a 24hr shop so my schedule shifts a lot. However, that is no issue for me as long as I have a heads up from my clients! I will work with them to create a schedule that best suits both me and the animals! Your animal is now a priority of mine(: I have a 6” vinyl privacy fence with a very large backyard. I have 3 dogs of my own and can accommodate some animals in my home. However, I will need to have your animals formally meet mine before making that decision so that we don’t put anyone in harms way. I will also request an updated shot record for any animals entering my home and will provide you with the same(:

We have a massive backyard surrounded by nature with endless room for pups to run and play! A quick note on safety: While our large yard is unfenced, your dog's safety is our absolute top priority. If your pup is a wanderer or loves to roam, we are fully prepared to take extra measures—such as using long training lines, continuous supervision, or structured outdoor play—to ensure they get plenty of freedom and exercise without compromising their safety. As the proud owner of two dogs myself, I completely understand the anxiety of leaving your furry family members. I treat every guest like my own and promise to keep your babies safe, happy, and loved in your absence!

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is the level of care, attentiveness, and protection I provide to every dog as if they were my own. I have experience working with young puppies who need patience, structure, and consistency with basic training and routines, as well as senior dogs who require gentle handling, medication management, and close monitoring. Safety is always my top priority I am highly observant on walks, mindful of surroundings, and proactive in preventing any potential risks. I understand canine body language, which helps me anticipate needs and avoid stressful situations. Whether it’s reinforcing positive behaviors, sticking to a detailed feeding schedule, or providing calm companionship for anxious pets, I create a secure and loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and protected. Owners can trust that their pets are not only cared for, but truly looked after with responsibility, awareness, and genuine affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially as an incoming medical student with a flexible study schedule. While my classes are structured, I have built-in breaks throughout the day that allow me to step away, reset, and give pets the attention they need. Studying also provides flexibility, since I can organize my time around walks, feeding schedules, play sessions, and check-ins. I value balance and know how important movement and fresh air are, so taking a dog out for a walk or spending time engaging with them fits seamlessly into my day. When I’m studying, pets stay in a safe, calm environment where they can relax comfortably nearby. Being in a rigorous academic program has strengthened my time management skills, responsibility, and attentiveness — qualities that directly translate into providing reliable, consistent, and safe care for every dog I look after. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. In my home, pets stay in a clean, calm, and secure environment with constant supervision, scheduled walks, and plenty of attention. I maintain consistent routines for feeding, exercise, and rest to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all provided instructions, respect the space, and keep pets on their normal schedule to ensure stability. I’m attentive to behavior changes, mindful of surroundings on walks, and proactive about preventing any safety risks, so owners can feel confident their pets are protected and well cared for.

About: For years my neighbors have relied on me to take care of their four dogs when they are away for weekend trips or even for trips that last over 2 months. I have taken care of animals from cats, snakes, guinea pigs and most of all dogs. I am patient and contempt with taking care of dogs. In all, I've had a lot of experience with animals! I adore animals all the like and have had the best experiences taking care of lovely pets. I'm a part time worker but that's only on the weekends as I have night school. That leaves me plenty of time in the day during the week and weekends to check on your fur babies. I will be able to drop in later at night at around 9:30-11 p.m. If ever in emergencies, I have a fenced yard that is very very roomy for a dog who loves to run around and play outside. “If I could give Jamicia 100 stars, I would. My dog Chuck got the ultimate VIP treatment and is depressed now that he is home. 🙂 Jamicia is the only person I will leave my fur baby with. She is genuinely the very best.”
