About: I absolutely adore being around animals. I started working in a vet and got a ton of great hands on experience. That means Ive seen it all. Dogs that are shy, hyper, scared, aggressive, happy, they come in all shapes and sizes. One thing I’ve noticed in dog care is they all need patience, and I’ve got a lot of that when it comes to those furry, tail wagging babies. Now, I’d like to take that experience into dog walking/sitting. I’ve grown up having 4 dogs at a time of all breeds ranging from Dochsund to a giant Doberman. I currently have a 5 year old pup named Darla, a Doberman puppy named Stella, and a little kitty named Ace. I look forward to giving your pet/pets lots of love and a healthy, active day while your away! I work from home. I will not be available all hours of the day, but daily drop in visits for a walk or weekend visits would fit just fine with my schedule. About: Hello! My name is Dallas! I am a huge animal lover, and would love to care for your furry family member! I have always loved all animals and have been in this field for over 15 years. A little about me: I was a volunteer at the SPCA for a few years, back when I lived in Nevada when I was in high school. Then I worked for a 24/7 doggy day care facility for about two years in Lake Tahoe after I moved there with my husband Adam. I worked there until I started my own pet sitting/walking company. when My husband Adam owned a wooden surfboard shop there, while I started my own pet sitting/dog walking company. In 2016, we decided to travel around with our dog Myles for a bit, and converted a school bus into an RV! We both own our own companies so we’ve always been able to work remote and did the conversion on our own. Eventually we ended up in Nashville and did two house flips while still running our craft companies. In 2020 my husband and I moved back here to Illinois where Adam is from, to help his elderly parents, and the family property. We just finished converting the barn into a homestead while we are here, and just celebrated our wedding in the property in September. Sadly our dog Myles passed away peacefully last October at the age of almost 17. While my husband and I greatly miss having a dog or pet around, we’re just not quite ready to get another dog yet and we figured Rover would be perfect. I’ve had a long list of pets throughout my life, from small Pomeranians to a large PitBull lab mix and multiple cats, I haven’t met an animal I didn’t love yet haha. Adam and I live on 8 acres with plenty of room to run and play. Our home is very clean, and also very dog friendly aka we love couch snuggles! Because Adam and I both operate our own businesses, we both have separate shops built in the house so we have the luxury of getting to stay home while still working, making our schedules very open and flexible! My home currently has three medium sized dogs and two turtles... With plenty of room for your babies ;) I am currently working part time. About 3 hours 2-3 times a week, so most of my time is spent at home with my animals. I have a fully fenced yard and a pool with an automatic cover. I always prefer to meet with pet parents so I can be aware of any potential safety problems in the home and when walking dogs I like to bring a secondary slip leash to use so that in case anything happens to the first leash/collar, your pet is unable to slip away from me.
