I have a lot of experience feeding pets with strict/special diets using oils, powders, crushed up supplements etc. and administering medicine including insulin injections. About: Hello! My name is Dallas! I am a huge animal lover, and would love to care for your furry family member! I have always loved all animals and have been in this field for over 15 years. A little about me: I was a volunteer at the SPCA for a few years, back when I lived in Nevada when I was in high school. Then I worked for a 24/7 doggy day care facility for about two years in Lake Tahoe after I moved there with my husband Adam. I worked there until I started my own pet sitting/walking company. when My husband Adam owned a wooden surfboard shop there, while I started my own pet sitting/dog walking company. In 2016, we decided to travel around with our dog Myles for a bit, and converted a school bus into an RV! We both own our own companies so we’ve always been able to work remote and did the conversion on our own. Eventually we ended up in Nashville and did two house flips while still running our craft companies. In 2020 my husband and I moved back here to Illinois where Adam is from, to help his elderly parents, and the family property. We just finished converting the barn into a homestead while we are here, and just celebrated our wedding in the property in September. Sadly our dog Myles passed away peacefully last October at the age of almost 17. While my husband and I greatly miss having a dog or pet around, we’re just not quite ready to get another dog yet and we figured Rover would be perfect. I’ve had a long list of pets throughout my life, from small Pomeranians to a large PitBull lab mix and multiple cats, I haven’t met an animal I didn’t love yet haha. Adam and I live on 8 acres with plenty of room to run and play. Our home is very clean, and also very dog friendly aka we love couch snuggles! Because Adam and I both operate our own businesses, we both have separate shops built in the house so we have the luxury of getting to stay home while still working, making our schedules very open and flexible! My husband and I both own our own businesses and have our shops on our property, so we both work from home every day with a completely open and flexible schedule! I care for every pet as if they were my own, while following and respecting the owners directions and or specific requests! I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules and medications, and any special needs, to ensure comfort. Because I may be caring for other dogs and I have a dog of my own, I always ask about a pet's temperament and how they do around other dogs to make sure everyone stays safe, happy and stress-free.
About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I was a proud dog parent for 13 years to my lab/pit bull mix, Sara, who taught me patience, consistency, and just how deep the human–dog bond can be. When I’m dog sitting, I intentionally keep my schedule flexible and avoid making fixed plans. This allows me to prioritize the pets in my care, provide consistent supervision, and adjust my day around their needs for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. My routine is centered on making sure each dog receives attentive, reliable care throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment while following each pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. Pets have supervised access to my fenced yard and plenty of attention indoors. I closely monitor behavior and well-being and communicate with owners as needed to ensure pets feel comfortable and cared for at all times.
