We planned a 10 day vacation and needed someone that knew how to take care of anxious dogs. We could not believe our luck when we found Bridget. She brought Shelly into her home and treated her like one of her own. She sent us updates and pictures daily. It felt like we dropped Shelly off at doggy camp. She was comfortable the first day there. She ate, played with the other dogs, went for walks, watched tv, and got lots oflove. It was such a relief! We will definitely be repeat clients.”

“Miriam and Terrell are the most kind people and will 200% love on your dog while you’re away!! ((So you don’t have to look any further at more profiles!!!!!)) Cooper our 20 month old Cavapoo stayed for a few days and it was our first time away. Not only did they update with photos and videos many times throughout the day but they sent home a report card letting me know how he ate and what he did. They really went above and beyond! Cooper didn’t want to play too much with the other dogs so Miriam had him cuddled by her desk throughout the day he was able to sleep with them at night. They truly love dogs and are some of the nicest people I’ve met!! Will always use them in the future !”

About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs through various experiences. I am responsible and dependable. I have owned dogs my entire life and currently have a 3 year old energetic boxer mix. I trained my own pup from 7 weeks old and attended a 12 week training course with her. Positive tones and patience are key. I love being active and getting outside and can guarantee your dog a happy and active experience! I am a full time teacher! I have summers and other school breaks off. I will be available for dog walking in the afternoons starting May 29th. During the month of June I work summer school but am available for dog walking any time after 1:00 pm. I am looking to help during vacation times and long weekends. For house sitting, I am willing to stay from 7am to 11pm but will not be available for overnights for initial clients. About: I was always the go to person for pet sitting in my family. Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house. And I was fortunate enough to have had one for 16 years. Her name was Bear. She was the best family dog anyone could ask for and I miss her very much. She is the reason I love taking care of animals so much. Recently, I have become very fond of cats and live with 2 of them. They have stolen my heart and take care of them every day. I also have two reptiles which are my whole world. No matter what animal, I would love to take care of them. I’m the sitter for you! About: I’ve been taking care of pets since childhood. First it was cats, then dogs, and I’m now a proud owner of a Quaker parrot. I’m willing to walk or pet sit dogs, help pet sit cats at their own home, and the same with exotic birds. Someone is always home with the pet and we also help you dog get socialized with our parrot. When I had dogs, I let them sleep on the bed with us. I also let them sit on the furniture, too. And I do spoil them, also. I work full time in the afternoon shift but my boyfriend works mornings so there is always someone home. He loves animals, too! I do my best to work around my schedule. Our bird Kerry only goes in his cage when we are both out of the house and at bedtime. Otherwise, we let him out. Kerry is used to dogs. He likes to talk to dogs.

A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. About: I've been studying dog behavior for over 9 years. I also have experience as a veterinary receptionist and grooming assistant. I train pet dogs on good behavior as well as rehabilitation for fearful or aggressive dogs. Safety is my #1 concern. Every dog that comes into my home is treated like family, as I do my own dogs. I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I would love to host your dog and make sure you are worry free while you're away! I work with dogs as a career and am home full time. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!

Pets that are under my care are always given the best treatment and care that they deserve! I am currently a volunteer at All Those Left Behind Animal Rescue. Through the rescue, I’ve handled dogs with behavioral issues, diseases, cancers, special needs, and those with age-related problems. I work part-time Mondays-Fridays in the evening with all holidays off. Additionally, I am a full-time college student with classes that vary each semester.. I am extremely flexible and even on the days that I am busy, I will try my best to find time for your pet to ensure the most comfortable experience! About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! About: Hello! I'm excited to be with rover part time. I've been pet sitting and dog walking since I was 12 and I've been a dog groomer since 2018! And a dog mom since I've been in diapers 🥰 I am a full-time dog groomer with two dogs. I noticed how much it benefited them to have long walks even with a fenced in backyard. I want to be able to give this back to people in the community with their dogs. I can do early mornings and evenings. No pet sitting just dog walking 🥰.
