About: I have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs—from those on strict schedules requiring medication and extra attention, to high-energy dogs who need plenty of exercise, as well as more easygoing pets who simply need love and companionship. I understand that every dog is unique, and I’m committed to following your specific instructions to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy building my schedule around consistency and responsibility. Whether that means morning walks, playtime during the day, or evening check-ins, I make sure each pet’s routine is followed closely so they feel comfortable and secure. On a weekly basis, I stay flexible to meet each pet’s needs, including longer visits, extended walks, or additional care if needed. I’m very dependable and make pet care a priority, so you can feel confident your dog will be well cared for and treated like family. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. I think Rover is a great alternative medium way for me to continue providing my love for dogs, and give back to the community. I am home quite often, most of the days if need be. I can work from home. My current entrepreneurial endeavor allows me to build my own schedule. In my home I would keep K9 nearby in my two main level living rooms. I have all laminate hardwood wood flooring. The fenced backyard allows for easy potty breaks and play time, however I will be with the K9 while they are outside to ensure their safety.

We will absolutely be booking her for all our of our future pet sitter needs and would hands down recommend her to anyone.”

About: My cats chose me almost 9 years ago by wandering onto our property, and today I simply can't understand how I lived without them! I'm a cat mom through and through, and I know how crucial it is to have someone you can trust caring for your fur babies on days you can't. I'd be honored to meet your little love(s) and learn how to care for them like you do. I'm happy to stop by once or twice a day to feed, brush, play, cuddle - whatever they're used to - so you can focus on your time away.
About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. I will give them love and play all day with them
About: Hello! I am a 29 year old who lives in Chenoa & works full time in Bloomington. I love animals, I have pet sat for almost 12 years. I volunteer at the local humane society. Both of my sisters are local and worked as vet techs, if I ever have any animals questions, I call them! My twin sister currently works at Central IL Humane Society in Normal. I have a 6 year Pitbull of my own. I follow instructions, have great communication, and will go above and beyond for animals.
“I needed care for my pets while we went out of town. I found Makinzee on Rover, and she took our older dog in for more attentive care, and visited the house once a day to check on our more self reliant animals. She did a great job, and Id definitely book her again!”

About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. I work part time as a wedding photographer so Im usually very flexible with my schedule especially during the week. I also enjoy walking so Im also available for that. I will only walk outside with your pet if they have a leash or a fenced protected area. I won't them alone anytime. I will provide patience and love to them as if they were my own.
About: I use to work with kids so nothing suprises me and I'm very good under pressure. I always find another way. I love all animals I'll even watch your other pets. I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, birds, and etc just ask. I'm always willing to learn. I will also work with dogs of all kinds even special needs of any kind or just special stuff needed to be done with them. A month and a half after getting my puppy she jumped out of my sister arms so I had a energized mini aussie on my hands that had to wear a splint for her broken leg. I'm ready for any challenge I work 38/40 hour weeks so I would pet sit before my shifts; after my shifts. If in Pontiac I would also do it during my hour lunch if needed It’s been years since I was an “official” pet sitter but really whatever the animal needs I am willing to do. Every animal needs slightly different care

About: I was always the go to person for pet sitting in my family. Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house. And I was fortunate enough to have had one for 16 years. Her name was Bear. She was the best family dog anyone could ask for and I miss her very much. She is the reason I love taking care of animals so much. Recently, I have become very fond of cats and live with 2 of them. They have stolen my heart and take care of them every day. I also have two reptiles which are my whole world. No matter what animal, I would love to take care of them. I’m the sitter for you! I am in between jobs at the moment so my schedule is very flexible right now. I am very open and honest so I’m very willing to for the schedule that’s best for you and your pet! “Aryn and her space is wonderful! Kai plays with her children and other dogs all day and then comes home fully exhausted and content. SO grateful for her ease and flexibility too. Thanks Aryn!”

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
“Savannah was a life saver! We were in town for the weekend for an event and she was able to accommodate my two small dogs on a last minute basis. She was very flexible and allowed late pick up (one of the events didn’t get done until 12:30 AM). My two pugs did amazing with her which really reflects how much she loves and cares for animals; they felt comfortable with her and made themselves at home. My younger girl came home exhausted each night after having the best time with Savannah’s pug. If I could have her as a regular sitter I would! Thank you so so much!”

“Peggy is exactly the person you want taking care of your pets. She is patient, relaxed, and full of love! She has a dog of her own, Peanut, and offers to do an introduction before your booking to make sure all animals are comfortable. My days are somewhat unpredictable and Peggy was always accommodating and patient with my schedule. Maple would rush to her door each day in anticipation. We feel so lucky that Maple has been under such great care for the past 2 weeks!!”

“Penny had THE best time. She made friends with a kitten. ❤️ Amanda is sweet, welcoming and clearly loves animals. Throughout the day I received pictures which brought me enormous relief from my anxiety which was unwarranted. We will certainly be back for not just a vacation already booked with Amanda, but daycare says as well. Thanks Amanda for loving our Penny like we do and welcoming her into your home!”

“Karen was so wonderful! I was in Bloomington for five hours to visit family for the holidays and needed a place that my dog could stay while I was with family. Karen was incredibly accommodating and a happy safe space for my pup. He is disabled and has really bad separation anxiety. He was able to make him feel loved and safe and continuously sent me pictures and updates on him. I highly recommend using him:)”

At a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I give plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away.

“Our puppies love Glen. Because they’ve been walking with him on a regular basis, their muscles are strong and they walk around with a newfound confidence. They have been able to walk farther and farther with each subsequent walk, which makes all of us happy.”

About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.
“Julie and her daughter were so friendly and attentive, and took wonderful care of our pups! Despite our furbabies being very barky and anxious, they handled them well and sent photos of them happy and taken care of. Highly recommend!”
