While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

“A very bad storm came through town while Hannah was doing a drop-in visit with our boys. She made sure to stay with them until the storm passed so they wouldn’t be scared and would feel safe. She even went as far as standing all of our potted plants back up that had blown over outside! Saying Hannah went above and beyond would be an understatement. About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

Two of my childhood dogs required medication, I have experience administering injections and oral medications. I also have experience administering topical and oral medications to cats. I have few routine obligations and will likely be able to make any pet sitting requests a priority. I am generally available from about 8:30am until 11pm every day. I can stop by on whatever schedule you desire and interact with your pet(s) as close to the way you would as I can. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! About: I've been a dog mom to s pit/lab mix and currently a pit/Cane Corso mix. He's a sweet boy who loves eveyone and is both active but also likes his daily naps. I work 3 days of the week so on my days off I'm available for walks/drop-in visits or boarding. Aslan would love to have someone to play with😊 I have a fenced yard and a doggy door which makes it easy for quick potty breaks and playtime. I enjoy taking my dude on hiking the trails at a park or to a dog park to run off his energy and take great naps after. I also spend a lot of time playing and training Aslan. About: As a foster parent for a local animal shelter, I love giving our four legged friends a safe and welcoming place to call their own. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
