“Always trust Lainey with my girl! She has taken care of her as she has grown up and has gotten to know my puppy so well! My dog gets to go on vacation when she boards with her!”

“I highly recommend Caitlins dog boarding service. Axel had a good time during his stay. Axel normally gets anxious in a new place and with new people but Caitlin made him feel at ease during his entire visit , which also made me enjoy my vacation because I am not worried about my little Axel’s well being. I appreciate all the pictures and the report that she gives you at the end of the day with all the details about how much he ate, how many times he went outside and the potty breaks. Caitlin, Thank you so much for taking care of my little baby…”

“I cannot stress enough how AMAZING Hannah was! Not only was she great at communicating with me, but she kept me updated the whole time my puppy was in her care. This was my first time boarding my dog through Rover, and she made it a great first experience. I loved knowing that my puppy was getting well taken care of while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Hannah again(:”
“Nate did a great job with Hank. Hank had a great time with Nate and enjoyed his walks. He was thrilled to have a playmate as well! Hank and Nash seemed to really enjoy playing together. It was really nice getting pictures of Nash and Hank playing. We will definitely use Nate again.”

“Here’s a polished positive review you could use: Kristen was absolutely wonderful watching my two boy dogs while I was on vacation. She was friendly, reliable, and very communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated regularly and was always quick to respond to messages. Most importantly, my boys absolutely loved her! It was clear they were well cared for, happy, and comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I would gladly book with her again.”

“Audra and her son do an awesome job caring for Wrigley! Audra tends to have great availability for watching my dog when I need someone. She communicates quickly when I'm checking her availability and provides lots of updates while my dog is in her care. Love having someone responsible and caring to count on to care for my dog when I have to be gone.”

“Sheila is great with our Gunner! He loves going there and she has so much space for him to get some exercise. Keeps us updated with pictures as well. Thank you, Sheila!”

“I felt completely safe leaving Bella with Feiran!! Bella had a great time again with all her new friends. I initially made a mistake with my booking, but Feiran was very responsive and flexible. I also really appreciated the photos and videos :)”

“Aratrika was great with my puppy Winston! She constantly send me updates about him and he looked delighted to be under her care. Would definitely recommend her and use her services again!”

“Meghan was wonderful with our dog Gali! She took great care of her over the weekend, including giving her medication without any issues. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter.”

“Elisse has been an incredible sitter for my pup, Rue! She kept me updated with photos and sweet little notes while I was away. This was her 2nd stay with Elisse, She was right at home.”

“Justin took great care of Luke and Leo! They were happy and well looked after. We’re very pleased with his service and will definitely use it again. Highly recommend!”

“Excellent communication, caring, affectionate, loving, respectful, and sincere. I felt released that Holly sends several videos and pictures while I was out of town. Holly is a great job!! Awesome!!”

“Julianne is fantastic! Responsive, attentive, and caring, she made Taco feel right at home with plenty of space to run around both inside and outside. We highly recommend Julianne for all of your fur baby’s needs!”

“Amber was great! It was our first time using Rover. She kept our 2 puppies for 9 days while we were on vacation. She sent daily updates and pictures. She treated them like her own and we will def book again!”

“Rae was amazing with my Izzy! I had family visiting, and I took them to Chicago. Rae was such a great sitter for my dog - I never worried for a moment because of Rae's attentiveness and the updates she sent me. She weathered Izzy's inability to sleep through the first night with grace, and we worked out some things to help her on the second night. Even though it was too hot for many outdoor activities, Izzy still came back home tired from all the fun she had with Rae and her daughter. It was awesome to get to unpack and clean up with a sleepy pup. Thank you, Rae!”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Hannah! She continues to show her reliability & trustworthiness week in and week out. Our dogs love and trust her very much! With how important they are to us we were very skeptical that we’d be able to find someone who we trusted would lovingly care for them the way they are accustomed to, but we found that with Hannah!”

About: While most of my professional experience has been with dogs, I’ve lived with and cared for multiple cats over the years. I understand that every cat has their own unique personality — whether they’re playful and social or more independent and shy — and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I’m experienced in providing daily care such as feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving plenty of attention at your cat’s pace. My background working in a dog boarding and daycare facility has also helped me develop strong animal-handling skills, patience, and the ability to read pet behavior and body language. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll care for your cat like they’re my own while keeping you updated so you can feel confident they’re happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“This is the second time we have had Misty cat sit for us while we’re away for vacation. She has been so amazing and loving to our Kitty. Definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs!!”

About: I've had pets my whole life, from birds, reptiles, and fish to dogs, cats and rodents, so I know my way around various pets and how to take care of them, as such any special needs won't be too far out of my expertise. When it comes to dogs I've taken two puppies of mine to training classes and am willing to work with whatever training you have in place with your dog, whether that is working on correcting behaviors like jumping or continuing to teach them certain tricks while you're away, I will try my best to make sure they stay on the right track! Cats are the kind of pet I've had for the longest and know the best, even though none of mine so far have been major trouble makers I know how fickle some can be. I'm not afraid to do the occasional litterbox clean if needed or to keep an eye on them during their occasional zoomies. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible, I'm available any day from noon to midnight so if you need someone to check in on your pet overnight I'm available! I'm willing to work with any dietary needs and/or restrictions your pet has and as I've given medications to my pets before I would be able to give your pet any if they needed it during my visit. I'm big into teaching my dogs how to be respectful on a walk so I would be willing to continue any on walk training you may have!

About: I didn't use to be a cat person till a grumpy old cat chose us as his family and stole my heart🥰 My cat was indoor/ outdoor since that's the life he was used to live so naturally I've gotten lots of "sweet" presents from him over the years (including a half-skinned live bunny rabbit😬). I could accommodate kitties several days of the week, depending on my schedule.

About: Greetings. First - thank you for considering me and my services! I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings.
About: I grew up with two big Akita/husky’s that were always full of energy but very entertaining! I now have a Pitbul mix that loves to cuddles. People have relied on me to walk, bathe, and watch their pets. I have a steady schedule as a Dental Assistant through out the week. I am available for morning walks with a lot of free afternoons and evenings. I would love to help you out and make sure your fur baby is taken care of while you’re away. As a pet sitter, my main responsibility is to provide quality care for pets in their own homes while their owners are away. Discussing with the owner about their pets needs, habits, and specific requirements.
About: I grew up with dogs and have house sat my brother's dog on numerous occasions throughout the time I've been in the Champaign area. I have also house sat cats for a friend back in Indiana. I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. I love to play with them, talk to them, and love on them as if they're my own if people let me! As of right now, I have plenty of time to play with your pets! Unless I have prior commitments, I am unlikely to refuse a request. I grew up with dogs, and I've house sat cats before, as I've mentioned. They always had food, water, playtime, and plenty of love and attention as they saw fit. I treat others' pets as if they're my own
“Madison was excellent. I was a bit nervous as Rascal just began some medications a couple weeks before and we haven't needed pet sitters before, but Madison calmed my nerves and walked me through all the steps she takes as a sitter which was so fantastic. She communicated with us, provided great updates, and Rascal really did well with someone else caring for him. He can be stubborn when eating and she was very patient with him!! Highly recommend.”

“Ben was GREAT!!! We were anxious to leave our cats alone for a week and he came by and gave them pets a few times and made sure they had food. Totally put my mind at ease! We appreciate you, Ben!!!”

“We love that we can count on Grace to take such great care of our dog Bucky. She is responsible, reliable, great with communication, and goes above and beyond to make sure Bucky is taken care of before leaving. Thanks again Grace!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Weldon
About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

“We are so lucky to have found Caitlin! We’re experiencing some health challenges and she’s been able to step up and help us by looking after Charlie on short notice - truly a God send!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15 years old for family and friends. I have experience with overnight stays at clients' houses as well as boarding at my own house and experience with puppies and senior dogs. I live an active lifestyle and love going for walks and runs with your furry friend. It is my goal to give your pet the exceptional care they'd receive from their own owner and love them well while you're away! I am home for the majority of the day during the week and have frequent weekend availability as well. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to assist at all hours of the day. I have an unfenced yard, but live close to walking trails and in a quiet neighborhood. I have children who adore dogs and look forward to being around them. Our sunroom is a great place for your animal to curl up and enjoy a nap in the sunshine.
“Annadel and Jose were great hosts! My dog had a great time and I received videos of her playing as well as updates. They were also responded quickly to messages. I highly recommend and would certainly use them in the future.”

“He did a great job with Coco. Our first time at Nate's went smoothly. Coco had a good time playing with the other dogs and in the fenced backyard. Thank you for taking good care of him.”

“Megan and Eric were so easy to work with! Communication and booking were a breeze, and our dog was super happy at drop off and pickup. Great people with a perfect setup for your pet. Definitely recommend!”
“Aratrika was amazing! She accepted the day care with very little time in advance, she sent a lot of pictures and took a really good care of my puppy 🥰 I definitely recommend her!”

“Ryan was our first time using Rover and he was awesome! Our silken windhound Maverick loved playing with his border collies. I loved getting updates with pictures of them playing together. It’s so hard to find someone who will do daycare for a non-neutered show dog, even when they have zero behavioral problems. 100% recommend Ryan if you want your pup to have a great day!”

“Rae was excellent providing updates and pictures throughout the day. I appreciated the small report card she had ready for my pup about her day which was a nice personalized touch.”

“Justin and Trung are amazing with our two mini schnauzers, Apollo and Ares! They always follow their routine perfectly and make sure the boys get plenty of breaks and snacks. We feel so comfortable leaving them here. Thank you so much 🤩 Apollo and Ares can’t wait to see you again soon!”

“Benny had a wonderful stay with Melanie! She as super communicative and treated Benny as if he were her own. Wonderful stay. Her home is super dog friendly!! Thank you !!”

“Peggy is exactly the person you want taking care of your pets. She is patient, relaxed, and full of love! She has a dog of her own, Peanut, and offers to do an introduction before your booking to make sure all animals are comfortable. My days are somewhat unpredictable and Peggy was always accommodating and patient with my schedule. Maple would rush to her door each day in anticipation. We feel so lucky that Maple has been under such great care for the past 2 weeks!!”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I started working from home which gave me more time to spend with my dog. I realized how close we got and how spoiled I made him. I love dogs and will care for each dog as if they are my own. I’m currently working from home. This allows me a lot of time with my dog and other dogs potentially. I set my own hours so I am able to care for the pet when needed Sticking to a routine, ensuring adequate food and fresh water is provided. Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring it is a safe culture. The dogs will be cared for

“Karen was so wonderful! I was in Bloomington for five hours to visit family for the holidays and needed a place that my dog could stay while I was with family. Karen was incredibly accommodating and a happy safe space for my pup. He is disabled and has really bad separation anxiety. He was able to make him feel loved and safe and continuously sent me pictures and updates on him. I highly recommend using him:)”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was young — I grew up in a family full of dogs and developed a love for caring for animals early on. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience dog sitting pets of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as cats and even chickens! For the past year, I’ve also worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility, where I’ve learned how to safely handle dogs with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, and needs. This experience has made me confident in reading animal behavior, creating a calm environment, and making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while in my care. I treat every pet like family and understand how important it is to know your furry friend is in caring, reliable hands. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or just a calm companion, I’m happy to provide personalized care that fits their needs! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work part-time in the evenings, which gives me daytime availability to care for pets, provide walks, drop-in visits, and spend quality time with them throughout the week. I’m hoping to dedicate most weekdays to pet care and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, patience, and reliable care while their owners are away. At this time, I’m generally unavailable on weekends due to family obligations, but during the week I’m flexible and committed to providing dependable, loving care for your pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make it my priority to keep their routine as comfortable and stress-free as possible. During drop-in visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, playtime, attention, and plenty of love and companionship. For dog walks, I make sure each dog gets safe, attentive exercise based on their energy level and needs. I understand how important pets are to their families, so I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I would want for my own pets. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos while you’re away so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

My oldest dog, Motley is a senior and the past couple years I have become very educated and trained on administration of medication and post surgery care. With experience from my own pets, I have many reliable references I have gained over the years that can vouch for me on my loving, dedicated, and superior care with their fur babies. I am currently a nanny and have almost completely open availability. I work Monday through Thursday during the day but can still do visits anytime! And I’m off Friday through Sunday so anytime those days as well! When visiting your home I am happy to provide any services you may need for your pet. This includes special feeding instructions, medication distribution, daily walks, baths, guaranteed playtime, and more all while treating them as my own with so much love! I am also happy to do drop in visits while you are at work or walks to get your babies steps in.
“Madison is fantastic, attentive, and goes the extra mile!! Cleo LOVES walks with Madie and her tail wags as soon as she sees her. She has been so reliable and consistent with her help and we appreciate her SO MUCH!!”

About: Im fortunate enough to have so much help when I go to work with my dog and work three nights a week so I have a lot of free time during the week. I’m looking to help others make sure their dogs can get let out or go for a walk while they’re busy (: I have a 1.5 year old mini golden doodle who is basically my child. we do everything together from walks to road trips to popcorn time during a movie! I work nights at a hospital and am lucky enough to have my grandparents watch my dog at night! I’d love to be able to help others out and ease some of the stress of having a dog at home by themselves for so many hours! My dog is my bestfriend, we go on walks every day, he loves play time with other animals & loves to snuggle up! We work on commands daily from sit, stay, shake, up, lay down, & much more!
About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! Currently, I have 2 dogs, a Jack-Russell mix named Jake and a Beagle mix named Macy. They are extremely pet/people friendly and they love new company! Also, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a a few years, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and taking care of your pets special needs. I will provide whatever accommodations that are needed and I will make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable. Most of all, I will always keep an open line of communication with you. I know how it feels being away form your pet and I know the importance of regular updates and pics. I look forward to hearing from you and I can’t wait to met your pets! :) 🏡 House Sitting + Boarding 🏡 (Overnight) Evening - Morning; I do offer some flexibility, however there could be an additional fee if check in/out times are drastically different from what I have set. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.

Here's how I go about it: **In My Home:** If I'm caring for pets in my own home, it's essential to ensure they feel comfortable and safe. I have a fenced yard, which is a great space for pets to play and exercise. When it comes to entering and exiting, I'm a chronic double checker - doors and fences will never be left open accidentally. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that your pets won't sneak out or face any unexpected safety hazards. **In the Client's Home:** When providing in-home pet care for clients, my organized and planning-oriented nature comes into play. I stick to a well-organized schedule that includes feeding times, walks, playtime, and any other specific requirements. I'm attentive to detail, making sure doors are securely closed and that the pets are safe at all times. My goal is to provide a seamless and worry-free experience for pet owners, knowing that their beloved animals are in capable hands. Overall, whether in my home or the client's, safety, organization, and a well-thought-out schedule are at the forefront of my pet care approach. Your pets' well-being is my top priority, and I aim to ensure they receive the highest level of care and attention.
About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

I will definitely be booking with Hannah again(:”

I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I would gladly book with her again.”

“Kat was very accommodating and we were very pleased with her services. It sounded like Abbey got along very well with her pets and the other dog she was sitting for that day. We were grateful that she was willing to take Abbey along with her other booking!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care Luna received! Chris and Erika were attentive, loving, and kept me updated with photos. Luna came home happy and healthy! Highly recommend!”

“We could not have asked for a better experience for our Sadie with Rae and David. Sadie is elderly and they took that into consideration in everything they did. They also are extremely knowledgeable about dog care, including food and treats. Their dog Winston is also very sweet. Sadie loved all 3 of them!!”

“Thanks again for another great visit! Journey loves staying with Bill, which makes for worry-free vacations. She is well taken care of and makes herself right at home. She gets plenty of walks, which she loves, and we know she gets plenty of snuggles. We are grateful!!”
