About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs since an early age. I’ve cared for my own pets and those of friends and family. I work from home Monday through Friday, so I’m able to be with your fur babies all day. Weekends are for fun and time outside walking and socializing. I live in an apartment with a fair amount of green space and a paved pond area for daily walks. I’m also conveniently located next to a dog park as well! About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

About: Hi, my name is Heather I have been involved in caring for animals for many years whether it was my own pets or the grooming and boarding facility I worked for in my 20s. I am 50 years old. I am from the Quad city area originally but lived in Houston for 30 years, I recently moved back about seven years ago. I have a nice little house in Bettendorf with a great yard including a vinyl privacy fence. I will give your pet a loving fun, playful experience, and I’m very happy to send you video and pictures so you can see how your pet does while they’re with me . I usually let them out in the morning and feed the dogs I watch separately so there’s no fighting , same thing at about 4 pm in between they get pets , sleep, and run around in my yard ( weather permitting ) I am home every day of the week. I am gone for a few hours on Wednesday and Friday. About: I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t like me. I donate a bag of treats each stay from my dog’s social media sponsor. We take a walk every single day. I am a teacher so I am out of the house from 7:45am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. I have some flexibility to leave early if need be. During lunch break, I use my Furbo camera to talk to my dog and launch a treat for him. I usually take my dog for a walk as soon as I get home from work. Weekends, I am typically home most the day. I have a ranch style single-family home that has a doggy door to a full turf and fully fenced back yard. I have the sweetest Golden Retriever that loves having other doggos come over. About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. About: My boyfriend and I have always had animals in our lives. Growing up he lived on a farm with dogs, cats, goats, pigs etc. and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I've had pets of my own my entire life and have cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors for years! I love being around animals and have 3 babies of my own. I'll love your best friend as much as I love my own! I am reliable, punctual, and energetic and always willing to do what I can to help out! I have an anxious, aggressive, and arthritic Chihuahua of my own, so I have experience with more "neurotic" pets as well as experience with medication. One of my cats is 13 years old, so I also have experience with senior care (as well as cat medication, too!). I also have experience with guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, and reptiles! I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! If I am house sitting, I can typically spend overnight and the majority of the day there! *Note: I am currently on hiatus from house sitting services! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!
About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. Starting at a young age, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and cleaning up after our family dogs. By the time I was 15, I began caring for a neighbor’s dog whenever they were out of town, building early experience in pet sitting and responsibility. Today, I’m 24 with dogs of my own, including one with medical needs, so I’m familiar with administering medication and maintaining a consistent care routine. In the summer of 2024, I even raised a litter of puppies, which deepened my understanding of early puppy development and the importance of socialization. From bathing and grooming to staying active with my pack, caring for dogs is a daily part of my life and something I’m deeply passionate about. Although I work full time during the week, my evenings are dedicated to spending quality time with my dogs. We enjoy walking, playing, and relaxing together. I’m also off on weekends, which gives me the perfect opportunity to help others who may be busy or working by making sure their dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I’m happy to offer weekend availability and evening flexibility to support both pets and their owners. I live on a spacious 2 acre property with a securely fenced in section of the yard dedicated to the dogs. The backyard is enclosed with three gates, each equipped with locks to ensure safety and prevent any clever pups from nudging them open. This setup provides a safe, open space for dogs to play, explore, and relax while giving owners peace of mind.

Heather had great communication, even before booking, and allowed two meet and greets so that we felt comfortable. Her dog, Zephyr, was also a 10/10! Our boys got along with him so well, Heather did a great job raising him. She was also very adaptable, our flights changed last minute and Heather was still able to accommodate us. About: I've taken care of dogs since the ripe age of 7 with basic care of water/food in bowl and every 2-4hrs of potty. Whether it was friends or family. Didn't start going professional till 15 with babysitting for children and their family pups! For cats, I own a cat myself and been taking care of her for 8 years. With consistent of litter changes, basic necessities and cuddles! I am free majority of the summer before college. Tuesday's will not be free. But for majority of the week, I'm available as early as 10:00Am till late nights I have a fenced yard for your dog to run around in. I have one female lab and one male Chihuahua that are friendly and can interact with other dogs. (Also have one female cat!) My home is very much spacious, if your dog needs to be crated as well!

About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.
