Sandy welcomed us into her home and with the 2 other dogs she was watching Charlie was somewhat hesitant. Sandy took his leash and I exited. About: Although I am only 19, I have had pets for as long as I can remember. My family and I have a total of 6 pets- 3 dogs and 3 cats! We have fostered and adopted our fair share of animals, all with different stories! One of our dogs is an amish labor rescue, one of my cats is blind, and another only has 3 legs!! While all of our pets now come from a different and difficult situation, it has been a reward and privilege to love and take care of them. I am familiar with hyper and untrained dogs as we have had 2 since they were puppies and they still are a bit crazy to this day! I am currently job searching so I can’t say what my availability will be like for the future but as for now I have no other commitments and am available whenever!! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine — I work from home, so I'm around all day and can give your dog constant attention and companionship. I live in a two-story house with my partner and have a backyard, perfect for some outdoor time. We're also just a block from the lake, so adventurous pups will love the walks! I'm available for sitting pretty much anytime, making it easy to accommodate your schedule. Please note the backyard is not fenced, so leashed outdoor time is always practiced for safety. When a pet is in my care, they're treated like a true member of the family. Since I work from home, I'm available all day to make sure they're never left alone for long. I love getting outside, so expect plenty of walks and adventures — we're a block from the lake, so there's always somewhere fun to explore! For boarding, pets sleep in their own bed or crate so they have a comfortable, familiar space to wind down. I always follow the pet owner's routines and instructions as closely as possible, whether I'm caring for your dog in my home or yours. “We needed care for our almost 13 year old quirky dog, Lucy for a week while we traveled to Michigan to be with my mom while she had major surgery/recovery. I found Debbie on Rover and contacted her regarding boarding Lucy while we were gone. On the phone, I immediately felt comfortable with Debbie. We chatted for 15-20 minutes and I told her all of Lucy's "quirks." She invited us over for a meet and greet right away to ensure Lucy (and us) felt comfortable. Our Lucy has been recovering from a leg injury and also has been a VERY picky eater. Therefore we needed someone that would be very patient with her. Debbie and her family were amazing. Debbie and her husband were able to get Lucy to eat regularly and also take her vitamins! This has been a feat for us let me tell you! They even taught me a couple tricks to get Lucy to eat her vitamins! And since Lucy has come home, she has been so much better with her eating and her leg as well! I couldn’t be more happy ? We received updates every single day...and Debbie took so many beautiful photos of Lucy. She really has a talent for photography! I never had to worry for a minute about Lucy. She was spoiled rotten by Debbie and her family. We cannot express how grateful we are to have found Debbie and her family.”
