Her fenced yard was perfect for helping him burn off energy, and she went above and beyond by teaching him how to play fetch—and even a little soccer! About: I have a half acre of fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. I’ve had pets in my family my whole life: always dogs, a few cats over the years, a house rabbit, hamsters, ducks, fish, lizards, turtles - so many lovely creatures! I’ve worked with rescues and shelters and have taken care of elderly dogs at the end of their lifespan administering medications orally, injections, and topically. For my other job I do freelance graphic design from home and make my own schedule, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. When pet sitting at my home your pet will have my company throughout the day. I offer check ins, feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after all pets and livestock at their home. I treat the safety and well being of all animals as a top priority. I truly care for animals and have an infinite amount of compassion and respect for them. I am certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. I am knowledgeable with different behaviors and walking accessories (ex: different harness and collar set ups) so I can ensure safety for your pet in all situations that may present while on a walk or visit. “We were very happy to find Joanne and her family to care for our dog Tipper. They were very friendly and very complimentary of Tipper when we had our meet and greet. Tipper is a high energy pup and got along well with their dog Honey. Joanne sent daily updates with pictures which we appreciated. When we picked Tipper up she had all her things packed up and ready to go. We appreciated that because we were tired from our trip. We were also pleased that Tipper was tired too. This tells us she was given lots of attention and activity during her stay at Joanne’s. Tipper spent the afternoon and evening napping as we did too. “Julie and Tom did an amazing job watching my senior pup. I was in a pinch and needed someone to help last minute. “anays and francis were so great with our little nervous girl! love that they requested a meet and greet before watching her for 4-5 days. they asked a lot of questions beforehand and provided us with updates throughout her stay. they’re both knowledgeable and easy going which was great for our dog who can be a bit nervous in new places and with new people. they’re great about only having one dog at a time if that’s what your dog needs, definitely will have our pup stay with them again!”
