About: My background is in social work and I am the oldest of four kids. Growing up we always had a golden retriever as a member of our family. This last August our family said goodbye to our sweet angel, Marley. I now have a little family of my own, and my son is eager to have a furry friend around. I care for my animals all the time from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed. They are entertained with toys and activities throughout the day. I have cat and dog carriers that I use. About: My passion is taking care of animals. I've always had animals in my house growing up and currently still have a house full. I understand each animal has their own identity and quirks. I currently have a wide range of animals from 2 cats and a dog to multiple reptiles! I have an extremely flexible schedule which will allow me to be there to help with any pet care need that may arise through our the day or week. I will follow any direction of home care for you pet while you are away. I only want to keep your pet as stress free as possible.
About: Dogs have always been a part of my life, I grew up with them in the house for as long as I can remember and have cared for a wide variety of breeds over the years. I’ve naturally become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family because I’m reliable, responsible, and truly enjoy making sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and cared for. I currently have three dogs of my own: a German Shorthaired Pointer mix, a Sheepadoodle, and a Basset Hound puppy. Caring for them has given me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, energy levels, and training needs. I’ve worked on puppy training, on- and off-leash training, basic obedience, and even fun activities like frisbee work. I believe dogs are family, and I treat every pet I care for with that same level of love, patience, and attention. I take pride in being dependable and keeping owners updated so they can feel confident their pets are in good hands. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and included while they’re in my care. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care. I am a teacher and only work very part-time hours during the summer, Monday–Thursday, so I have plenty of time before and after work for feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. My schedule allows me to be home often and provide consistent care, attention, and supervision throughout the week. I provide pet care with safety, trust, and comfort as my top priorities. During in-home visits, I follow each pet’s routine and their owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs (if applicable), exercise, and any special preferences. I make sure pets have a safe, calm environment while providing attention, playtime, and companionship. For walks, I focus on keeping pets secure with proper leash handling, being aware of the surroundings, and adjusting the pace and activity level to each pet’s needs. I treat every home and pet with respect, communicate updates with owners, and make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for while they are in my care.

I have been dog sitting for friends & family in Michigan & Illinois for 3 years now. In my professional life, I’m an Occupational Therapist who works with older adults. I regularly help residents safely care for and enjoy time with their beloved pets, so I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behavior, adapting to individual needs, and providing calm, attentive care. I’m also comfortable with senior dogs who may need a slower pace. Because I’m young and active, I love getting outside for walks, playtime, and adventures that help energetic dogs stay happy and engaged. Whether your pup wants a long walk, a game of fetch, or just lots of cuddles and companionship, I’ll tailor my care to their personality and routine. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own, so you can feel confident they’re safe, loved, and having a great time while you’re away! I work a normal 9-5 Monday-Friday. Therefore I prefer to do Friday afternoon-Sunday evening stays! This way I am available 24/7 for the pet. I have a fenced in yard (that is also dig proof). I currently have one very friendly dog who would be eager to any pups companion. My dog is allowed on furniture/in beds. We have a lot of sidewalks & trails within our neighborhood for walks. About: My husband I both grew up with golden retrievers and have a soft spot for them. When I was first out on my own and bought my first home, I rescued a pit bull and she was with me until she passed. My husband, sons and I are all dog lovers and would love to welcome your dog into our home. My husband is home full time and I work from home and we are anxious to care for your pet! We have 2 sons - ages 6 and 10, so kid-friendly dogs are a must. We are available any day of the week at any time, unless we have something specific planned (which is not often). Please feel free to ask about specific dates and times and I will be sure to add you to my calendar! My husband is home full time and I work from home so we have ample amounts of time to care for your pet. My 2 sons LOVE dogs and love to play and take dogs on walks. Our yard is unfenced, per our HOA rules so your pet will always be on a leash for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. Pets are free to explore the entire home and will not be crated or gated, unless a crate is provided and requested.
