About: I have a deep love for animals and have been caring for them since I was around 10. I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a green cheeked conure, and 12 chickens, so I’m familiar with many different animals. I’ve also interacted with and owned several breeds of dogs. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals as long as I can remember! My parents adopted our first dog when I was only 4 years old. Tala was a Siberian husky that I took care of daily from a very young age. Throughout my childhood I grew up with medium/larger dogs such as German shepherds, huskies, pitbulls, and a Great Dane. My love for animals didn’t stop there! As a kid I regularly helped a family friend on her farm take care of wild and farm animals that she rehabbed such as bunnies, raccoons, squirrels, chickens, horses, cows, goats, etc. Now that I live on my own with my husband, we own 2 silly orange cats (4yo) and 2 dogs. Our 2 beagles, Starla(6yo) and Ellie (4yo), are ‘retired research hero’s’, meaning they were lab test animals for human medical research, they even have tattoos inside their right ears! They do great meeting new animals. But due to their life in the lab and awkward lack of learning other dogs body natural language, they require a meet and greet with any pets that plan on staying in our home just to ensure all animals clearly feel comfortable with each other. They are beyond friendly dogs that don’t know what a ‘stranger’ is and will accept love from anyone. Starla has seizures, and because of this I have plenty of experience with handling her during an episode. I would more than willing to board/take care of another pet who suffers from medical conditions! I personally know how nerve racking it is to leave our little fur babies life in the hands of another person that we hardly know. Ellie has a poultry allergy and we’ve become pretty good at checking the labels before feeding anything to her. It was quite surprising to see just how many pet items have poultry in them! I also suffer from a nut allergy, so I also know beyond animals just how dangerous it can be. You can feel more than safe trusting me with your fur babies allergies! I take all forms of special conditions very seriously. I’m currently a college student at ONU, but live in my own home that I own off campus. I do not work at this time and have very few classes that are physically on campus. I love meeting new people and animals especially. I have a fenced in yard where my beagles love to run around. While it is safely fence in, my animals are never left unattended as my animals safety is always a priority. During nice weather I love to take my dogs on walks out at Perry Farms or the Kankakee State Park. These are the places I choose for the safest and cleanest walking paths to keep my pups safe. Before walks I always check the pavement to ensure safe temperature for the little paws. I also spray my pups with Wondercides natural flea & tick repellent to further ensure safety for their health when going on walks. My house is only 1 level. The only stairs your pet would be required to climb are the ones going in and out of the house. While I do have a basement, only the cats are allowed down there. I am still new to the pet sitting world, but I am so excited!

I am also currently in school to be a Veterinary Technician which has helped me with learning to administer meds, CPR, wound care, behavioral concerns, etc. I have also gotten a lot of experience working at a vet as well as having my own animals or watching friends/ families animals. Pet is a daily thing for me, whether it be caring for my own animals, family friends animals, or even the animals I have to care for at school. It is one of the most important things to me, being a voice for animals. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs at home so it a a constant thing to make sure they’re all cared for. Feeding, walking, cleaning up after them etc. It would be the same for me taking care of a clients pet. Feeding, watering, playing or walking, or cuddles. About: Growing up I cared for my two dogs, an Australian cattle dog mix and a German shepherd. We loved them both to the ripe old ages of 16 and 12 respectively. In high school I spent my free time at the local animal shelter volunteering to walk and play with the various dog breeds. My entire life I have loved caring for all types of animals, so this is an amazing opportunity for me to meet even more. I am currently a college student attending school 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). All other days of the week I am free to be booked! My yard is big, but unfenced so I will have to have your dog on a leash for our walks and playtime. Of course, making sure that each room is stacked with the proper food, water, and equipment whenever i’m leaving the house is part of my routine, and is of paramount importance to me. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I like to distribute the dogs evenly amongst the bedroom and living room, depending on compatibility between pups. Then the rooms are stacked with toys, food, and water. From there, it’s just a matter of making sure the pups receive adequate exercise. This can be accomplished through ball play in a smaller space, Fetch, or light jogging outside.

My dog Guppy can play with your pet or be kept separate. I can feed your dog in the crate if necessary. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as they are potty trained. About: I have experience in boarding dogs, walking dogs, and grooming dogs.I have experience in training as well because of having my beautiful and playful Australian shepherd. Currently I work as a freelancing groomer so I can create my own schedule to an extent. I am usually able to be off by 2:30. I have a fenced in backyard and a spacious home.
