As a groomer I am always continuing my canine education, especially related to safe dog handling. My goal in life is to meet all the pups! Since then I’ve been able to gain my experience through many different roles within the field of non profit shelter work and finally working up to a vet tech. I’ve been able to use the skills of vet tech in shelter as well as a private practice for the past 10 years. I’ve handled everything from neonates who need round the clock assistance to senior pets who need special medications/care or even I pets that are diabetic and need insulin. I’m an avid animal lover and protecter. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have a very flexible schedule so fitting in pet care is usually no issue. I will treat you fur baby like my own and they will be well cared for! I'm currently in the process of going back to school so I am not working a scheduled job right now. My availability is flexible. I'm available for daily check ins and walks. I'm also available for extended or overnight care throughout the week and all weekend. I will do all of my care at the client's home per the client's instructions on their pets needs and will provide care in the way the client specifically wants their pet cared for. My availability is open and very flexible! I can take last minute requests, overnight stays any day of the week, can stop in multiple times a day to check on your pet if needed. I will do my best to accommodate any situation and make sure to take great care of your dog/cat! I will give your pet lots of love and attention! I will make sure to follow any instructions or requests while I am caring for your pet(s). I like to send daily pictures and updates to give you piece of mind while you are away. About: Hey friends! I graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2019 from Muscatine, Iowa. I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2020 and I absolutely love it. I have a large passion for animal care and know that they deserve as much love as people do. My family and friends have always had animals as well, so I’ve helped with them here and there. I’ve done quite a few jobs on here and it’s always been a great experience! I am CPR trained for both cats and dogs and know how to give various medications in various ways. I worked at Northgate Small Animal Hospital in Collinsville, IL for over 2 years and recently quit this year due to my CF, but I still keep up to date with my licensure! I can work with dogs, cats, and small exotic animals including hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc. Don’t worry, you can trust me with all of your fur babies!!! I was also a veterinary assistant at a regular veterinary hospital with on top of that I was a boarding facility manager. About: I have babysit my family and friends fur babies over night for several years now . I enjoy spending the time with them and enjoy taking them on long walks and having play time with them. I have four dogs of my own that I take care of. I work for amazon right now monday thru thursday. Iam opened to helping out with customers pets friday tru sunday. I feed and water my dogs everyday, plus play with them to. If its a nice out i let my dogs choose if they want to stay outside or not until i get home from work, but they are inside on nasty days. They do come in at night and sleep with us. I give them their owns baths and trim their own nails. At the clients home I take their dog outside on a nice day to play and take their dogs on a walk. Before I would leave the clients home, I would make sure that their fur babies would have water and food . When we are on walks I make sure I carry water with me for their fur babies.
