About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.

My ancient kitty Larry doesn't do well staying by himself anymore. Estefanny not only assured that he had regular meals, water, and meds, but she also stayed with him at night so he wasn't lonely. Larry clearly loved her. She sent an update and photos every day, many of which showed him on her lap or in the spare bed, so he was obviously comfortable sleeping with her. To be honest, I expected her to be great with Larry. What I didn't expect was, after 5 nights sleeping at my house, I couldn't even tell she had been there. The place was exactly as I had left it - I swear she packed out her own garbage! Estefanny clearly cares for pets and is pleasant, reliable, and responsive. Once I hit my pre-teen years I began volunteering at animal shelters, helping with animals of all kinds! I once even held a fundraiser in middle school for a local shelter who needed help gathering supplies for their pets. I have experience with animals who need medications or have special needs! I personally have a small elderly chihuahua, a calm fluffy cat, a young playful kitten. About: I have always had a special connection with animals, dogs especially, and grown up being called an animal whisper. Ive had dogs of all ages my whole life. I have experience with puppies, adults and senior dog care. Currently learning more and more about training dogs and using thoes techniques on my husky mix. Im all for giving your furry friends the care they deserve❤️I dont have any cats! I am currently working at an Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in Yorkville and my shift is 6am-2pm. My schedule changes every other week. Although my boyfriend works the 3pm-11pm shift so someone is home most of the time. I am not totally free but I would be willing to work something out! My house has a front and back yard-not too big. We use a tie out for our dog and we have a few extras if needed for your dog! Me and my boyfriend live in a two bedroom duplex. Most areas of the house is dog proofed and we have plenty of toys for both to play with. My dog does really good with other dogs and loves to have company and a friend to play with. He is still younger so he can be hyper at first but will eventually calm down:)

About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.
About: I've taken care of pets since I was young. I've always had a dog growing up! After moving to Sycamore in 1998, I moved into a farm. We had almost every farm animal, as well as cats. I've had all of my dogs from puppies until the end. Come summer, I am free all the time! I work at the school district! Just weekends are softball. My oldest is on a traveling team! I do not have a fenced in yard but I will make sure your pet is using their collar/harness and leash when outside at all times.
