“We couldnt have been happier with Sherry and Mike! I put together a last minute trip for my husband's birthday and needed a special kind of person for our rescue baby, Miley. Miley came to us from a rough background and needs a little more patience. After meeting them and their adorable furry family, we knew Miley would be fine. Even though she is a 50 lb mixed breed, she loves small dogs. We got photos of her on hikes and wandering on their incredible property. I felt more like I dropped of Miley for school then leaving her with a stranger. When we picked her up, she was happy and tired. Don't hesitate trusting your furry family with them. Truly wonderful people who care. Thank you Sherry and Mike. We will see you again soon ♥️”

“I highly recommend this couple. Emilie and Michael cared for our puppy while we were away and they did an amazing job. Good natured couple. Also their dog Lila is a gentle giant. She got along very well with our puppy. We will definitely use their services again. Five Stars.”

“Darcie was fantastic! 100% would recommend. We did a meet and greet a couple weeks prior to the stay and I could tell it was going to be a great fit. She took excellent care of our pup. Darcie also communicated daily and can tell she has a love for dogs. We couldn’t have asked for a better week. If you are thinking of booking with Darcie - don’t hesitate!”

“Emily and her family did an outstanding job of caring for Rizzo. He was having such a fun time, he didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be using Emily to care for Rizzo in the future .”

“Jen took amazing care of our dog, Daisy, while we were on vacation. She treated her like family, kept us updated, and made sure Daisy felt comfortable and loved the entire time. We came home to a happy girl. Highly recommend Jen. We’ll definitely book with Jen again.”
“Mary is literally the best pup sitter. She takes such care of our pup like he is her own. You can tell her heart belongs to the dogs she sits for by how she takes care of them. You won't be sorry for choosing Mary.”

“My little Wrigley can be a handful and doesn’t like to be away from her mom. But Carol was amazing! Appreciated all the pictures and communication that was sent to us. Made us feel at ease.”

“Marissa was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, she was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly caring. She checked in regularly and sent the sweetest photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious she truly loved and cared for Kona, and that means everything to me. Even better, it was clear that Kona loved her right back. There’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your dog feels safe and happy while you’re away. I’m honestly just sad she doesn’t live closer because we would book her every single time without hesitation. I can’t recommend Marissa enough!”

“Joe was really great with my dog who has separation anxiety. He took the time to let her get comfortable and trust him. He also checked in throughout, which gave us peace of mind!”
“Nyjeah W. Took good care of my Schnoodle Dog Hosanna and my cat Shylynn she was very responsive with updates, very reliable. I would recommend her if you need someone to watch your loving pets she's the best.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who loves all creatures big or small, furry or scaly. I grew up with pets of all kinds and have always enjoyed caring for them, spending time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I currently have a dog of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your beloved pet. He’s a pit/boxer mix and is super friendly and gets along with other pups. I also have a human baby, so I’d prefer your fur baby be good with kiddos, but I can keep them separate if needed. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family members receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. 🐾❤️ I have my own in-home daycare with little ones M-F so I am home all the time, making it convenient for me to care for your furry friend when needed. We usually spend a majority of our days in the basement where I have my daycare space set up, so the animals can have a quieter area (unless they’d rather be with me and the kiddos) on the main floor, which is fairly spacious. My husband also has a flexible job where he can work at home fairly often, so he will also be around to help with the animals when needed. I have a smaller sized fenced backyard and a super friendly and submissive 5-year old pup of my own that can help make your pet feel comfortable here. Your fur friend has free range of the house, but I can also crate him/her if preferred.
“She was absolutely amazing with my dogs. She sent pictures periodically through the day and you could tell the dogs were having so much fun! I’ll definitely be using her again and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone else.”

“Erica is a wonderful Pet sitter! Our Big girl Birdie thoroughly enjoyed herself in Erica’s care. I truly felt at ease leaving our energetic Birdie. Thank you for the daily updates, and pictures! We will definitely be in touch for any future pet sitting needs!”

“This was our first time needing someone to house/pet sit. I was a bit nervous, but Andrew was confident at the meet and greet that everything would be just fine. He took wonderful care of our fur babies. He gave us updates. He sent us some wonderful pictures and a video of Lucy playing. He asked good questions. I was able to leave town for the first time in a while and enjoy myself knowing someone was going to be there. He did the expected chores morning and evening. He kept the house in great order. He had to do a little extra cleanup after one of the kitties had an accident. I would absolutely have Andrew stay and care for our cats again.”

About: I've had cats my whole life (22 years), so I've had my fair share of cleaning litter boxes, treats, play time, brushing, feeding, etc. I have 3 cats right now and 2 are on medicine (pill and insulin) so I also feel comfortable being able to administer medication to your cat! I love seeing different personalities and colorings in cats and Hi! I’m a dependable and patient pet sitter with a special soft spot for cats having grown up with them! I understand that every cat has their own personality — some are playful and social, while others prefer quiet company and their personal space. I take the time to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for at their own pace. I’m experienced with daily feeding routines, litter box cleaning, playtime, administering basic medications if needed, and giving plenty of attention (or space!) depending on what your cat prefers. 2 out of 3 of my personal cats is on medicine (pill and insulin) so I am no stranger to administering medicine. I also know how important consistency and a calm environment are for cats, especially while their owners are away. I’ll make sure you stay updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your cat is happy and well cared for. I will treat every pet like they’re my own and make their time away from you as stress-free as possible as I know I would want the same for my furry babies! I’d love to meet you and your cat!
“Amara was the best pick for my extended international trip. She went above and beyond watching my two cats. Watering my plants and bringing in my mail without even asking her to. She is clearly a cat lover and it put my mind at ease that they were getting the TLC they needed while I was away.”

About: Cats are such special animals. Having two of my own and helping my neighbors when they’re away, I love the quirky personalities. I know the importance of respecting boundaries and giving them safe places to be themselves. Scheduled feedings, clean litter boxes and engaged play time, I will treat your fur baby as my own.

About: I’ve taken care of 3 cats at once and one had to take medication twice a day. I have also handled cats at the shelter as well as kittens. I understand they tend to be a little more shy and not as easy going when getting to know other people but I love them.
About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. Whether they choose to join me or relax elsewhere in the house is up to their preference. I do not have a kennel and am okay with pets being able to roam. I also want to break up my day so they will get walks every 2-4 hours if they would like. I also have a fenced yard that I can see from my office if they are wanting to spend more time outside. Personally I’ll probably be outside with them :)
About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

“Katherine was super awesome with my rescue who has major trust issues. It's so hard to line up friends and family to let your critters out for potty breaks when you are away. Katherine makes the process much smoother. I felt very comfortable knowing that she was there handle things. She even sent some pics of the dogs!”

About: I’ve cared for my own two cats, Jolene and Soup for over five years and have been around friends’ and family’s cats for more than eight. Over the years, I’ve learned how to meet each cat’s unique personality and needs with patience and understanding. I have experience with nail trimming, brushing, enrichment and playtime, and administering medication when needed. I also take care of litter box maintenance and keeping cat areas clean and comfortable. One of my own cats is on the shy side, so I’m very comfortable working with skittish or nervous cats and giving them the gentle patience they need to feel safe. I’m confident in reading feline body language and building trust over time. I’m open to caring for cats of all ages and temperaments (though I have a bit less hands-on experience with very young kittens under 4 months). My goal is to make every cat feel secure, cared for, and loved!
“Amanda was very reliable and great with communication. It’s always scary not knowing someone well and having them stay at your house with your pets and she over exceeded our expectations. We appreciate it! Will definitely keep her on our list for the future!!”

“Taylor was absolutely incredible with my little kittie boy Blue! I was scared to board him as he's only 6 months old but Taylor took great care and showed deep compassion for him. He came home excited and almost refreshed. I highly recommend Taylor if you're looking to board your cat or any other animal. Her passion and love for animals is very evident. Taylor will be the first one I call next time! Thank you so much Taylor! 5 Stars aren't enough!”

I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. “We had a good first experience with Emilie as Poppy’s sitter. Poppy seemed to do well during her stay, and we appreciated receiving photo updates while we were away. Communication was smooth throughout, and we didn’t have any complaints. We would be more than comfortable booking with Emilie again in the future.”

“Allison was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, a playful and high energy 5 year old pug and a very high needs senior. She is so loving with them, and is very patient and focused on our senior dog’s needs. We were totally confident that they were cared for so well all day. We are so grateful to have found her! Ellie and Jake loved their time with her and can’t wait to stay with her again.”

About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. At your house, I can walk dogs, play with your dogs in your yard, and hang out with them inside the house. For cats, I can play with them inside, and give them lots of company.
“Darcie really helped us out, accepting our last-minute booking for our Giant Schnauzer puppy, Iris, without hesitation! Iris undoubtedly had a great time, with access to lots of sunshine and outside play in the large fenced-in yard - just what she needs. We will definitely reach out to Darcie in the future!”

“We really appreciated Emily's keeping us posted on how our dog Maggie was adjusting to a new environment. Emily and family were very loving and caring toward our dog Maggie.”

“Grant was a lifesaver for me and my puppies! As a busy night shift nurse I was not sleeping during the day so I could give my puppies attention. It all became too much so that’s when I decided to find a puppy daycare for them. I found Grant and he was open to watching them during the day for me so I can get some sleep! My 8month old puppy Cricket is a shy/ nervous girl and my 3 month old puppy Junebug is rambunctious and sassy. They both loved going to daycare and were thoroughly wore out after spending the day playing at Grant’s house!”

“Tiffany was great! We were traveling through Iowa and needed a place to leave Tommy for the afternoon so we could take a riverboat sightseeing tour. Due to poor planning on my part we had to find someone just a few days before our trip, but Tiffany responded to my request very quickly and was able to take him on short notice. She was so kind, and Tommy warmed up to her quickly. We really appreciated having a great place to take him for the afternoon!”

About: Hi! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and had one of my own growing up. I’m experienced with walks, playtime, bathing, and general care, and I love spending time getting to know each dog’s unique personality. While i’ve worked most with smaller dogs, I’m comfortable and open to caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I bring a gentle, caring approach to make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Currently I am working part time, my schedule varies but usually I am working 2nd shift in the beginning of the week and working 1st shift during the weekends. I am more than happy to discuss dates and times and work around my typical schedule to meet your needs of pet care to the best of my abilities! Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and boundaries so they always feel secure in my care. Whether i’m in your home or out on a walk, I make sure your pet is safe, supervised, and happy at all times. I treat every home with respect and care, keeping things clean, tidy, and just the way you left them. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are loved and cared for like family.

About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. Being around cats doesn’t worry me. Just as long as I pay attention to signs on what to and not to do. I’m currently trying to raise money for a trip to go meet some family I’ve never met. I’ve had this app for months and haven’t had a single client. Please help me reach my goal I work full time with kids and I love pet sitting for one of my friends. But usually after work I love to be around lovely pets. I will walk your dog personally. To be honest, letting a dog out in a yard doesn’t seem like they have much freedom. Taking them on an adventure is the way to do it so they have options. Treat them the way you would want to be treated is my motto.
About: I have had dogs and loved them my entire life. I grew up with Rottweilers and St Benards so the big ones definitely have my heart. I currently have two Border Collie X Australian Shepherd mixes that are incredibly friendly and smart. I started my pet professional career out in 2012 as a kennel technician at the Clinton Humane Society. I have worked for two different vet clinics as a vet technician giving medications, doing ivs, doing wound care, and being apart of surgery staff. I do some special handling dog training for anxious and semi aggressive dogs. My passion for special handling dogs started when I trained as a pet stylist. I got hands on experience helping stressed dogs relax and make situations better for them. I currently work in the Quad Cities as a pet stylist, working with both dogs and cats. I am very familiar and comfortable working with all kinds of animals be it furry, scaley or feathery. I do animal care for individual animals and also for hobby farms with chickens, ducks, goats, llamas and sheep. I am a very particular person when it comes to my own animals' care. Being very detailed oriented and handling your pets care is important to me. I think they deserve their care to be attentive and comfortable. Animals are not only something I am very passionate about but what I have revolved my life around. My days start around 5-5:30am. I typically take the dogs for a walk and have an hour to give them a bathroom break. I work as a pet stylist from 7-3:30. I can give bathroom breaks on my lunch break as needed. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I have a fenced in back/side yard where I monitor dogs so they can be off leash if they are able to be trusted. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid. I deep clean and sanitize everything frequently.

About: I’m Rochelle and my full time job is as the Assistant Director of a no-kill animal shelter. I work closely with professional trainers to identify the correct temperament of an animal, I am pet CPR certified, I have worked as a vet assistant, I have experience working with wildlife rehabbers, I have worked on a 200 acre farm in Tennessee caring for chickens, cows, ducks, and pigs, and I’m an animal lover at heart! I am professionally trained to given oral and injectable medications to cats, dogs, farm animals and wildlife. I have approximately 4-6 personal pet sitting clients yet I am interested acquiring more! Getting to know and bonding with an animal brings me true joy and Rover is another way to do just that that. I look forward to working with you and your pet!
“Dillon took amazing care of my boy! His home is clean, pet-friendly, and a great spot for doggy stay-overs. Monte felt comfortable right away exploring every part of his house and meeting Shadow, which put me at ease. I got updates with photos, and it was clear Monte was having a great time and was well cared for. When I picked him up, he was all smiles and full of good energy. Dillon followed Monte’s complex feeding schedule and made sure he got plenty of outdoor time. (and ear rubs) He truly treats every dog like his own. I highly recommend Dillon if you're looking for a great place for your fur baby to stay! I’ll definitely be booking with him again.”
