However, with just 2 visits a day Rebecca divided her with enough engagement and affection that we never received even one notification over a 3 day period!! We are entering our older years and Lucy is a young dog. There are some rules that we have for her so that she does not become too exuberant for our aging bodies. Rebecca, listened to those closely when she met us and reinforced them for us, when she was here. That is very important to us for Lucy's overall training and for us being able to keep her for a long time. When we did the meet and greet with Rebecca, Lucy formed an attachment to her. We used Rebecca's name often during that visit. When I told Lucy that we were leaving for 3 days, her ears went down - when I told her Rebecca was coming to visit her ears perked up.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

I adopted two of them as puppies, so I potty trained them and taught them how to sit, lay down, walk off-leash, etc. I adopted my other two as adults, but I did train them how to walk off-leash as well. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially when your furry family needs extra care. However complex the case, I always look for ways to make your pet happy in addition to healthy, whether that be an extra slow walk with lots of sniffing, an enrichment toy with diet-approved snacks, or just some quiet time on the couch together. Most importantly, I know what I don’t know. Every pet is an individual with their own history and needs, and I never assume my past experience automatically applies to your furry family member. If I ever have a question or concern, I reach out immediately, and in a genuine emergency, I won’t hesitate to contact your veterinarian. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I can work around your and your furry family's established schedule. When staying at your home, I can be with your pet most of the day. This means they get lots of attention and snuggles (if, and only if, they like snuggles!), and I can watch for shifts in their behavior, appetite, or energy levels and let you know right away. I only provide care in your home, which allows your furry family to stay in their normal environment and maintain their regular routine. I’ve found this keeps stress low and helps pets feel safe while you’re away. When I’m staying overnight, I treat your home and your furry family’s routine with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime instructions exactly as given.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.
About: My goal in life is to be your pets newest best friend. I have had experience with my very vocal and fat beagle that is 6. As well as a retired belgian malinois bomb dog that is 10. I can play fetch for hours, play games, or sit and cuddle a coach potato. I can be at your door anytime I do not have class at my flight school! I work part time at a coffee shop but my hours are very low because of school. I would really like pet sitting to be my job instead as I transition into this. I am attending a flight school to become a pilot. I am there just for a few hours a day through the week. But any chance I get I will pet sit! Since having experience with dogs and cats. For any overnight stays, please let me know what appliances I can or cannot use, where you would like for me to stay, etc. House sitting can be a tricky topic since the needs can vary so much between individuals. My house sitting base rate includes an overnight care (can adjust hours depending on your pet’s routine & this includes all potty breaks, snuggles, enrichment, etc while I’m in the home), midday potty break, meals, and one focused walk/exercise session (example: before dinner). If your pets need more exercise, care, or attention, this is not a problem! We can discuss additional drop ins and walks as needed and I can adjust the fees as appropriate.
