About: I’ve had a dog of my own since 2020. I made sure to enroll him in doggie daycare to get that enjoyment while I’m away at work. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs of my own that we got as puppies and trained ourselves. Additionally, I'm an animal science major at the University of Illinois, which has further fueled my passion for animals, especially dogs. What sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is my lifelong experience with dogs combined with my academic background. Your furry friends will not only get lots of love, belly rubs, and long walks but they'll also benefit from my commitment to their well-being and happiness away from their owners! I currently have an open availability with some previous dates blocked off due to prior commitments! You can always reach out even if it seems like I’m unavailable! Caring for pets in my home revolves around creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment. With two friendly dogs of my own to keep your dog company, your furry friend will always have a buddy to play with. While I don't have a fenced-in yard, I make up for it with long, enjoyable walks to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. My home is already pet-proofed with secure areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. I could also accommodate other needs, whether it’s crating your dog or adhering to particular routines. Ensuring animals are fed on schedule and always have access to fresh water is also a top priority. I am always watching and being mindful of what the pets are doing, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. My goal is to provide a trustworthy and nurturing environment where your pet feels right at home.
