“Diana is so kind and knowledgeable. My dogs were perfectly at home in her care. She gave us tons of photos, videos, and updates while we were gone and spoiled them with lots of walks. We will definitely book with her every time we travel from now on.”

“Jocelyn did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our fur baby, Stetson, while we were out of town. It’s never easy leaving your dog behind, but she made the whole experience so much easier and stress-free. She kept us updated with tons of pictures and messages, which meant the world to us when we were really missing him. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats your pet like her own. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend Jocelyn to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and attentive to watch their pup!”

“Thanks to Faith we have a spot for our baby when we cant take her with. She was very helpful and gave us some great tips on order spray and leashes. Thanks so much to faith. Our baby loved her tike at her home”

“Alyssa was very nice and took care of our high energy husky mix (Jayda) while we were away. This was the first time having someone watch her other than my sister (who was the foster mom we got her from). Alyssa had several playmates that Jayda got along with and got to play a lot. She also found some new treats for us to try with Jayda. We got Jayda home and she seems tuckered out. Which is good. :-)”

“From Sarah we got quick response, she sent pictures, she is very kind and did a great job taking care of Maggie. Maggie had a very good time with Sarah and her doggies. Definitely we would book with Sarah again.”

“This was our first time using Rover, so we were a little nervous dropping our dogs off. The second we walked into Kayla’s home, our doubts instantly disappeared. She made it very comfortable for our pups, even to the point that our senior dog wasn’t in a rush to leave when we arrived to pick them up! We were very thankful that she made it comfortable for them and would definitely use her again. Thanks Kayla!”

“I give David 5-stars for going above and beyond expectations in caring for our dog for 10-days. I received many photos showing my happy dog. That put my mind at ease. I had never left my dog with anyone and was not sure he would react. David took my dog for walks and brushed his hair. I would not hesitate to use him again.”

“Melissa took amazing care of my dog, ensuring he had plenty of exercise, play time, and snuggles during his weekend stay. Her place is set up perfectly for hosting pets, and she is very warm and knowledgeable. I received frequent updates throughout my dog's stay. I would not hesitate to work with Melissa again!”

“We love Hailey! Our dog Hazel had some separation anxiety issues and she worked through them with her, plus made us feel at ease. She also gives needed medications for our pup! Hailey is so patient! ❤️”

“Emily did a wonderful job and provided an enjoyable and safe environment for our 4 dogs inside and outside of her home. She was also always easy to communicate with and quick to respond. She put us at ease with sending us photos of our babies at her home relaxing and playing. Would use her again.”

“Having peace of mind knowing your little family is always ok when you’re needing someone who knows what you need for you to be able to leave and never have a second thought about they’re safety and comfort is important and number 1 to all those involved and invested in your life that’s important!!”

“My pup had a great time at Madison’s. You could tell she was well taken care of and even ran back inside to say bye. Highly recommend using Madison for your pet sitting needs.”

“Jennifer took excellent care of our cockapoo, Toby! She is a great communicator and sent me lots of pictures of their activities:) She has a real love for pets and Toby got lots of attention! 🐕🦺💞”

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

“Highly recommended! Our 5 month old puppy was so well cared for, and we could tell right away that she felt comfortable and happy. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos—it gave us peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover stay and will definitely be booking again.”

“Absolutely the best! Sara took such good care of my two cats throughout the holidays, enough to where my shy kitty even came out on her own within the week period. Sara was so responsive and kept me in the loop about my cats, along with catering to their special diets. I can't stress enough how wonderful she is - if you want someone who will take care of your pets like her own, look no further.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Ariel while she watched Gracie and Lucy for the weekend. She took excellent care of both my girls, kept me updated with messages and photos, and made sure they were happy, comfortable and well cared for. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my pups were in such good hands. I came home to two happy, relaxed dogs. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Ariel to anyone looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy dog sitter.”

“I requested the drop in visits very last minute, but Aubry didn’t hesitate to help. My girls were happy and calm, giving me peace of mind during the extended part of my trip. She gives detailed updates of how the kitties are doing and great pictures too! I would absolutely recommend her for your pet sitting needs.”

I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, litter box cleaning, playtime, brushing, and giving cats the space they need to feel safe and relaxed. About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Spring Bay
“Kayla was so friendly and super accommodating when we had to pick up a bit late due to car issues. She sent texts and photos and we felt very comfortable knowing Sophie was not caged up in a kennel while we enjoyed our time on the Verde Canyon Railroad!”

“Bubs had a great time with Khanh! She was able to accommodate his need to physically be away from other dogs because he’s not quite old enough to get all his vaccines. He was always excited to get to daycare in the morning! She was also willing to work with me and my crazy work schedule - we’ve already booked more time with her. I trust her with my puppy. 🤗”

About: Hi! My name is Stephanie, and my husband, three kids (3, 7, and 10) and I are so excited to love your dog while you’re away! A Roof for Ruffs is the brainchild of our 10yo daughter. We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. We’re having so much fun with fostering that our sweet girl suggested we take on paying clients between our fosters, and donate some of the proceeds to the same local dog rescue organization. ♥️ I’ve owned dogs my whole life. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. We are so very excited to meet your dog, and to treat them like family for their stay. My husband works full time, but I am a freelance writer with flexible hours working from home while caring for our three kids. In other words: your pup won’t be left alone often! 😆 **Please note: all pets must have proof of updated vaccines and be okay with kids (they will be loved on and spoiled by our kiddos while they’re here!) I am home daily with my kids, so lots of potty breaks and playtime is possible throughout the day. We are available most weekdays or weekends unless blocked while we have a foster or for travel. We have a 4-foot aluminum fence in the backyard and live on a public park with a walking trail for easy exercise options. We have extra dog crates here if your pup is crate-trained or feel free to bring your own.
“Evee had an absolutely amazing time! Sami sent updates everyday and included pictures, I loved knowing my girl was well taken care of she got to go to the park, had lots of cuddles, and was visibly excited to see sami by day 3, would definitely book again and recommend to anyone!”

About: My friends and family call me the pet whisperer. Or, "even your pets listen to you" I have a great understanding of animals, and a natural love and care for their well being. I began babysitting and pet sitting at age 11, including horses! Have always been a caretaker type, including being a full time nanny, also taking care of their animals-dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, guinea pigs. Available on weekends and partial Mon and Fridays. Flexible, long term, or short term last minute welcome. Home most of the time on the weekends except for short errands, as our house is centrally located, close to shopping, yet not directly on a busy street. Like a relaxing vacation for your loved one while you are away. Our pets are part of the family and enjoy many benefits of our house. Plenty of playing and lounging room for all! We have a living room, rec room and screened in porch, for warmer weather, all with dog friendly furniture and lots of windows for plenty of comfy napping. lounging, squirrel watching...with a dog entry door to the large fenced in yard and deck through the kitchen. My musically talented teenager will play lots of nice music on his piano and ukulele as well as run around the yard with the dogs, and there is a park within walking distance from our house if more exploration is desired! We have one chocolate lab who is very friendly and social, and loves company!
About: Finding the right sitter matters — especially when your dog needs more than just a walk and a bowl refill. That’s where I come in. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to senior dogs and behaviorally challenging cases, I’ve cared for and handled dogs with a wide range of needs. My background includes extensive volunteer work at animal shelters, where I gained valuable experience reading canine body language, managing stress, and working safely with dogs that require extra patience and structure. In 2021, I earned my Certified Dog Trainer credential through Animal Behavior College, and I continue my education through Leerburg University, focusing on canine behavior, handling, and communication. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — every dog is different, and I tailor my care to what helps your dog feel safe, calm, and confident. If you’ve been told your dog is “too difficult” or “too much” for most sitters, I encourage you to reach out. I have experience with reactive, anxious, high-drive, and medically complex dogs, including administering medications and injections when needed. My goal is not just to watch your dog, but to advocate for them while you’re away. For safety and individualized care, I only accept one family of dogs at a time. This allows me to focus fully on your dog’s routine, comfort, and well-being — no overcrowding, no chaos. I’d love to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. You’ll leave knowing your dog is in capable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring hands. Thanks for stopping by my profile — I look forward to meeting you and your best friend soon. I'm hoping to make canine boarding/training my new job. I still work full time in a hybrid remote role. I will only accept boarding reservations where I know I will be home. I prefer to exercise dogs by walking them, but will do anything to keep your friends on their own routine. Anything you can share with me about your dogs preferred routine will help me keep their schedule as normal as possible.

They have unlimited access to the yard, toys and water. We have a cat who is very friendly, but will most likely keep to himself.
“Rachelle was wonderfully attentive and extremely helpful when our family needed help with Levi. She accommodated his needs and understood our scheduling needs. Her home and pups were extremely welcoming and Levi had a delightful day being loved and cared for by Rachelle and playing with her pack!”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands on experience caring for pups of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I currently have two amazing dogs of my own. Khloe is a resilient 11 year old that has overcome major medical challenges, including a leg amputation and daily medication routines, and Oakley is an energetic 2 year old who keeps life exciting! Because of my own dogs, I’m no stranger to giving medication (including injections), working with limited mobility or vision, and supporting senior pets with the extra care they need. Whether your dog is a bouncing puppy or a gentle senior, I’ll treat them like family with playtime and plenty of belly rubs. I’d love to help care for your furry friend while you’re away! I work second shift, so I’m available in the mornings and early afternoons to care for your pet! I also live very close to work and am able to run home on breaks to see my dogs. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure every dog gets the exercise and fresh air they need with daily walks, just like I do with my own pups. For dogs with limited mobility or who tire easily, I even have a wagon that I use to wheel them around so they can still enjoy the outdoors safely and comfortably, something I do often for my senior, three-legged dog. Inside my home, I provide a calm, structured environment. I have two crates available and can accommodate both crate trained dogs and those who prefer to free roam. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality so I can tailor their care, whether that’s sticking to a medication schedule, providing quiet time, or making sure they have plenty of play and affection. In a client’s home, I aim to follow your routines as closely as possible to keep your pup comfortable and stress free while you’re away. My top priority is always the safety, happiness, and well-being of your dog.

About: I am a 4th grade teacher with summers off. I have a passion for walking and dogs. So this is perfect for me! I walk my 90 lb chocolate lab (quite energetic and happy) miles everyday around the neighborhood and hiking trails. He is a pretty reactive dog (all love) so I am skilled in knowing what a dog needs and how they are reacting to the external variables on a walk, and how to react to that. I would love to meet you and your animal best friend! I have the summer off, so I am available this summer. Once school gets back in session, weekend care would also be something I am interested in. I am mainly available for dog walking and/or taking care of your animal in your home. I have helped raise 3 puppies (now big dogs) throughout the past 8 years. I am very well aware of what the animal may need and how to react to that.

About: I had dogs my whole childhood, and have had cats in adulthood. As a kid, I loved caring for and training our dogs, both basic commands and some fun tricks! I was responsible for letting them out when they needed, feeding them on time, playing with them, and taking them on walks. I wanted to be a dog trainer for years, and had a training manual I would study to know all the right actions and reactions for different situations and behaviors. I can't say I remember many specifics for training, but I definitely have plenty experience in basic care and play. As of right now, I am available all day on Sundays, and until 2pm all other days— perfect for midday walks or drop-ins while you're at work! I can provide basic care for both cats and dogs in their homes. I will feed, play, cuddle, walk, and even clean up after if necessary.

I’m patient with animals of all ages and personalities, and I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust while you’re away. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! I’m definitely a busy body but not too much ;) I currently work at Carl Methodist hospital as a CNA and I also work at a bridal boutique in Lincoln, Illinois where I sell homecoming prom and wedding gowns. I am currently in college going into my sophomore year and I will have class on Thursday Friday and Saturday and that will take up at least three hours of those days. I’m very confident with my time management skills and will never take on too much. I hope you’ll consider me! I will try my best to fulfill every request needed to care for your animals and any in-home needs related to them. I take pride and what I do and do it all to the best of my ability.
“Katie is WONDERFUL!! Wags, my overweight beagle (who lets me live there with my cat Top!) is already showing signs of having more energy. When I come home, he is bouncing up and down to meet me. It has been a while since he had this energy; I know it’s ALL because of Katie walking Wags! Besides this, Wag’s loves Katie and didn’t give me a second look when she came for him!!!♥️♥️”

About: I have experience administering all kinds of medication to all ages of dogs. I love meeting your older dogs and have experience helping them navigate stairs and the home if necessary. I am patient and if your dog needs extra accommodation I am happy to provide assistance. I am currently a college student on break for the summer so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am available for early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. I understand it can be nerve racking trusting someone with your pet, but I am extremely communicative and will keep you updated as frequently as you wish. I have pet sat for multiple families who have always returned to tidy homes and happy pets. As someone who has had the privilege of loving many animals, big and small (snakes, lizards, geckos, cat, hamsters), I understand the importance of your pet.

“We love Hailey! Our dog Hazel had some separation anxiety issues and she worked through them with her, plus made us feel at ease. She also gives needed medications for our pup! Hailey is so patient! ❤️”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, and administering basic medications when needed. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their happiness, safety, and well-being. I work full time for USPS as a mail carrier. I have two days off each week. I’m always off Sundays. Once I’m off work usually around 5/6pm I’m free! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I maintain a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment in my home, free of hazards and closely supervised at all times. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special requirements. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect your space and your pet’s routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure and I provide regular updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. “Becky and Joe were great! Becky kept us updated throughout Franklin’s stay and was always willing to send photos! Their house is exceptionally dog friendly with toys, a backyard, and a crate if need be. Franklin loved snuggling, spending time outside, and playing with their other two goldens!”

“We had to leave our dog for 3 weeks, which is the longest we ever been away from him or that he’s ever been away from home. I was so happy to find Amanda! She and her family took great care of him and it eased our minds knowing that he was getting walks and lots of attention every day and wasn’t stuck in a kennel the whole time. Amanda was very flexible with pick up and drop off times, and she was good about sending pics and updates while we were gone.”
