“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.

“I am absolutely thrilled to have found Pete through Rover's service. I have three very emotionally needy cats, one of which is nearly 20 years old. I am new to this area and didn't know anyone locally to watch them. I have not allowed myself to go on vacation for quite some time, and was overdue. I was very nervous about trusting a stranger, but Rover gave me confidence that they screen every one. Turns out that Pete is a retired insurance industry executive and demonstrated real professionalism when making arrangements to watch my cats. He sent me pictures of them every day while I was gone. About: I adore being around animals and have had many years pf practice with taking care of friends pets. We have also always had pets in our family growing up. About: I would love the opportunity to have your furry friends come visit me. I am there when you can't be! I am a long time Dog loving home. I have adopted 6 dogs and believe they should all be loved like your own. I have been a Foster parent as well for Wishbone Canine Rescue, so have had experience with dogs coming and going and needing a place to lay their paws. I have 2 dogs and a cat that are welcoming to your pets needs and they love company. My home is dog friendly in that they have full access to the house and furniture and beds as well as 2 dog doors to go out into the dog run or fenced in yard as they please. I do also have dog crates as well as a indoor walk in dog kennel if needed to use. I work from home and available for your pets needs as they need them. I have the ability to attend to the dogs needs 24/7 unless otherwise discussed. I have detailed below what are the definitions we use for our services. BOARDING: Your dog comes to stay with me at my house from your drop off time till your pick up time scheduled by you. This is a overnight stay so please bring all items and food for your pets to make them feel comfortable during their stay with us. Disclaimer: I strive to provide a safe environment for all dogs that stay with us. In order to do so I require proof of vaccination upon the initial meet & greet. That needs to include: Rabies Distemper Bordetella All dogs must be spayed/neutered. Also when booked and dropped off I will recommend you leave me with a back up person to contact in the event that any problems arise during the stay and you are out of town. DROP IN VISITS: I come to your house to visit with your dog. What is done is dependent upon what you set up and what you need. This could be just checking in to play, go on walk, feed, or let out to potty. This will all be determined upon what you need. Note- This doesn't include overnight stay in your house. Note- Two methods of entry are required to prevent lock-outs. DOG MEET AND GREETS: I require dog introductions be done ahead of time for first visits with me that entail staying at my house with me as I know dogs will be dogs. I will make a time that works for both of us to come to my home and have play date and see how it goes. I will also come to your house for a meet and greet if you schedule drop in visits, walks, etc. To allow for proper introductions and to make sure it is a good fit. About my pets- All of my dogs and cats are fully vaccinated and on heartworm medication and flea and tick. Proof of my dogs vaccinations available if requested. Pet Health and Vaccinations: - All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and in good health. - Please provide proof of rabies vaccination upon initial meet and greet. - If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, I will notify you and seek veterinary care if necessary. Any associated expenses will be your responsibility. Emergency Situations: - In case of an emergency involving your pet, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. - If I am unable to reach you, I am authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary by a professional. - You will be responsible for any expenses related to emergency veterinary care not covered by Rover.

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I do not remember a day in my life that I didn't have a dog! I have dogs of my own and I also take care of families dogs, friends dogs along with boarding other peoples dogs, and I also foster dogs. Home is better for their mental state than dropping them off somewhere where they don’t know where they are. Lots of loving and all of my attention goes to the babies while I’m there. I currently do not work and my schedule can be made mostly around the needs of the employer. My son is at school 8-3 but he would be willing to help with animals also. We have a fenced in yard but also go for walks. I have no problem with walking multiple times a day or whatever other needs the pet has.

I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
About: Owned animals my entire life, and overall want animals to be able to live the happy and comfortable life they deserve. I treat animals like family! I work/ have other commitments, but am fortunate to have a flexible schedule and work irregular hours so during the day often works for my schedule. I also have transportation for your convenience. About: I’ve owned dogs and cats, all of my life. I was a police officer and Sheriff for 32 years. I’ve dealt with most all animals. I love them all!! I’m currently a retired sheriff. I work part time for American Airlines about 20 hours per week in Bloomington, and working on a license to sell real estate as a part-time job in Livingston County. About: Pet owner for 10+ years Used to farm animals and herding breed dogs! When I was a kid I would walk dogs for our local shelter, handling all kinds of dogs of different sizes and temperaments. I can provide 24/7 attentive care for your pet! I am only home for evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday but my Fiancé is home during the daytime :) I have a very large fenced in yard for your dogs to run and play! My dog Guppy can play with your pet or be kept separate. I can feed your dog in the crate if necessary. Dogs are allowed on the couch as long as they are potty trained. My work schedule is very lax and subject to change in order to accommodate pet care. Of course, making sure that each room is stacked with the proper food, water, and equipment whenever i’m leaving the house is part of my routine, and is of paramount importance to me. I live in a one bedroom apartment. I like to distribute the dogs evenly amongst the bedroom and living room, depending on compatibility between pups. Then the rooms are stacked with toys, food, and water. From there, it’s just a matter of making sure the pups receive adequate exercise. This can be accomplished through ball play in a smaller space, Fetch, or light jogging outside.
About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
