However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. About: Starting in 2020, I spent a few years on the road doing a variety of gigs, primarily animal transportation. I got to see the entire country and meet a ton of awesome animals - mostly dogs & puppies, but rabbits, kitties, lizards, too. I have since planted my flag in Galesburg, IL, and am hoping to build up a clientele of regular check-ins here in this area as I build a home for myself off the road. I am happy to book new clients through Rover, but I do most of my gigs through direct booking after the initial sit. Since Rover keeps 20% of a sitter's fee, please consider tipping in full to make up the difference. Upon meeting new clients, I would like to let folks know that it is common courtesy to compensate a potential sitter if they are traveling from out of town for a meet & greet. It is not expected but greatly appreciated to offer to stock the fridge for overnights, especially for longer sits. For overnights, I like to keep handwritten notes throughout the day and have little photoshoots here and there. I prefer to check in via text at the end of the day w some nice photos and a brief summary of the day's events. My clients enjoy reading the full report when they get home.
About: I've been watching and loving on dogs since I was in grade school. I'm a HUGE animal lover, with a passion for dogs- I can never learn enough about them. I managed a dog boarding/daycare facility, but discovered the stress of over 80+ dogs in my care at once was a little too much for me to handle. After a couple years away, I decided to come back to the dog boarding/daycare industry part time. Doing this, I was reminded that not all dogs thrive in this type of environment and do better in a home atmosphere. I have very active dogs myself and wake up extra early in the morning to make sure my dogs are properly exercised and played with before I go to work because I believe in order to have a healthy dog, they have to be worn out both physically and mentally and that is very important to me. I now have the ability to work from home and tend to work from home when I have doggy guests staying with me. What to expect when your dog stays with me: Lower stress and home environment for your pups! I have two big dogs and a little dog and am also set up so I can keep them separated if your dog doesn't particularly enjoy k9 company! I send pictures and videos and will keep in contact with you as little or as much as you'd like. I work full time, but I'm able to work my own hours. I adjust my work schedule based on the needs of the paws in my care. I have a large fenced yard. If your pup is staying at my home, I do require that they are crate trained for the safety of your pet.

About: I’ve had all kinds of dogs in my life since i was 7. from 8 week old to 13 years old. I’m great with walking dog’s keeping them out of things and making sure they are safe. I am a traveling stay at home wife, who hates staying at home. I have full availability to walk dogs early in the morning and afternoons. I always make sure the weather is good for a walk.
