We are a foster family for a local dog rescue organization where we take in one or two dogs at a time until they can find their forever homes. Between fostering, petsitting for family, neighbors and friends, and caring for my own pups, I have experience with all ages—from very young puppies to seniors and everything in between; small and large breeds; well-behaved and questionable; medical cases, and even the occasional cat. 😱 Your dog’s vacay siblings for their stay will include a 2yo female Great pyr/St. Bernard rescue pup, and two 4yo guinea pigs. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could walk. Pets have always been an addition in my family. I have also pet sat for friends and family when they have needed. To me, pets are family and I have always taken care of them like that. When I'm trusted to take care of someones pet, I treat them like their baby. We have 3.5 acres of farm and woodland. 1 acres is wooded and we have a trail and creek to play in. If things get too messy, we can always rinse off in the hose. I have a lead out back, but if your dog doesn't need it great! If your dog requires a little more, I have a fenced in area behind the barn that we can venture to as well. I live on a private drive, so not a lot of traffic and its nice and peaceful. I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. I live 20 minutes away and usually come home on my lunch break at 12 to let my dogs out and to let them run and play. I wake up early to take care of my chickens and ducks and let my dogs run around for about 30 minutes outside. With other dogs, we might wake up a little earlier and go on a trail or just walk up and down the road(.5miles) maybe more if needed. We then come inside and eat and drink and they are usually ready to go back to bed by the time I leave for work. On my days off we are outside constantly. If your dog is an introvert or loves ac, we do also let our dogs on the furniture for extra lounging. 🤣 At night we do a bit more outside since we make our rounds to make sure the birds are safe and fed and maybe another walk in the woods. Before bed, we do tick checks just in case! I care for all pets like my own and all pets have the same freedoms as my fur babies(unless specified so your doggo doesn't come home with any habits you don't want them to have). I have blankets on my couches and dog beds all over the house.

About: I have taken care of many different types of both dogs and cats while growing up. We always had an animal in the home. They've ranged from full blooded to mixed breeds. I currently have a dog that I adopted through the animal shelter that I work for. I am currently available on weekdays (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) as well as weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 11am-10pm. I can be flexible with the time and can do earlier or later with request from the client. I live in the Elmwood community and enjoy taking my dog on walks as well as to the dog park. My dog is dog friendly. She is currently about 2 years old and is a little socially awkward but a complete sweetheart.
