“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

I'm looking to spend time with and care for dogs, and as a former dog owner I know how hard it can be to find a good sitter. After I spent 3 years caring for a dog with a chronic illness, I am accustomed to all sorts of needs and am happy to accommodate them. I have also lived with and cared for a senior dog and I can work with dogs of all ages. I will only take one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 40 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist in Canton. I do typically have weekends off with the occasional Saturday and Sunday at my part time jobs in East Peoria. I do get an hour lunch daily at work that I could possibly run back for potty breaks if needed and time allows. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

I’m available quite often. I am most available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. But still available sometimes on other days. I'm looking to spend time with and care for dogs, and as a former dog owner I know how hard it can be to find a good sitter. After I spent 3 years caring for a dog with a chronic illness, I am accustomed to all sorts of needs and am happy to accommodate them. About: Everything is negotiable as far as how many pets, how many days or weeks involved, accommodation needed etc. so please message me if you have any questions. I prefer to house sit at your home but, again, I can be flexible! Im pretty empathetic towards animals so I’m aware that they need love, attention, and to be movin’, movin’! I work 3-4 days a week and go in at 4pm and I can get out anywhere from 10pm-12:30am. Checking in with your pet would be my first priority as soon as I got off of work. I will make sure doors, fences, crates (if used) are locked. Dog is always on leash when outside and constant monitoring of whereabouts as needed. Pets provide the best photo ops so expect a lot of updates and funny flicks ^-^
