About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and even sent us regular photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing Luna was in great hands. We left our 3 year old German Shepherd with her for over a week and at first like all dog parents we were nervous, as it was our first time leaving him with someone we didn’t know. But we went and met with her and all was well. We are so happy with her service and she is so responsive! You can tell she has the best heart and loves your baby like her own!! We received photos everyday if not twice a day and Ruger played and loved all of her pups too! We will FOR SURE be using her services again and highly recommend her to all dog parents!! “We don’t board our dogs or have them watched outside of our home very often. When we do need help, it’s usually a family member or close friend staying at our house. Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. We would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we would not hesitate to book with her again in the future.
