He played all weekend and was absolutely worn out after playing in Kathleen’s backyard all weekend. I feed him twice a day ( morning and night) maybe a few treats, I’ll bathe him when needed but not too often cause it hurts their fur coat, clip his nails when needed, brush him just about everyday. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. Starting at a young age, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and cleaning up after our family dogs. By the time I was 15, I began caring for a neighbor’s dog whenever they were out of town, building early experience in pet sitting and responsibility. Today, I’m 24 with dogs of my own, including one with medical needs, so I’m familiar with administering medication and maintaining a consistent care routine. In the summer of 2024, I even raised a litter of puppies, which deepened my understanding of early puppy development and the importance of socialization. From bathing and grooming to staying active with my pack, caring for dogs is a daily part of my life and something I’m deeply passionate about. Although I work full time during the week, my evenings are dedicated to spending quality time with my dogs. We enjoy walking, playing, and relaxing together. I’m also off on weekends, which gives me the perfect opportunity to help others who may be busy or working by making sure their dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I’m happy to offer weekend availability and evening flexibility to support both pets and their owners. I live on a spacious 2 acre property with a securely fenced in section of the yard dedicated to the dogs. The backyard is enclosed with three gates, each equipped with locks to ensure safety and prevent any clever pups from nudging them open. This setup provides a safe, open space for dogs to play, explore, and relax while giving owners peace of mind.
About: I work from home (or your home) M-F. I am free before or after for bathroom breaks, walks, meals, cuddles, and all pet care. I have never had the blessing of owning my own fur baby but I am an “aunt” or “Nanny Liz” to many loving pups! I have a flexible schedule and I am willing to travel between Normal and Chicago burbs. Housesitting: I work from home (or your home) M-F about 8am-4:30pm. I am free before or after for bathroom breaks, walks, meals, cuddles, and all pet care. I can also provide care during lunch hours, around noon most days. Walking hours: M-F 5pm-9pm & Sat/Sun 9am-9pm. I love to travel & stay with friends and family so my location is flexible and fluctuates from Normal to Chicago. Regular walks outside these hours will be included housesitting. Potty breaks can be at any time! Perfect for a vacation or weekend away. You’re dog or cats safety is my number one priority! I will treat them and your home as if they were my own. Both your pets and home will be well cared for and cleanly.

While i’m newer to pet sitting, I’m responsible, patient, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I already take daily walks as part of my routine, so caring for pets fits in very naturally. I enjoy having a dog join me—it makes the time more enjoyable while ensuring they get consistent, relaxed exercise. For dog walks, I make sure they get safe, relaxed exercise during my daily walking time. I pay attention to their pace, energy level, and comfort, and I always keep them on a secure leash. I use baby gates and childproof locks to block off certain areas. I set up a comfortable, low-traffic area with an orthopedic bed and futon couch or if your pet needs to be kenneled or crated at night that can be offered as well. I ensure to use toys and chews that are appropriate for the pet's size and species. I do not have a fenced in yard but I will make sure your pet is using their collar/harness and leash when outside at all times.

About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. As a kid I have always been so interested in animals, and before we had our family dog, I was babysitting neighbors' guinea pigs, lizards, cats, fish, turtles, and dogs. I even have a small amount of experience working with horses! The squirrels around town make me so happy, and I would love to share that same energy with your pet. Every animal has its own needs, quirks, and way of communicating, and I love and respect that. Additionally, I am a college student working towards a B.A. of Art, and I have an Associate of Science degree. I can be flexible, especially with intent to find repeat pet parents whose animal(s) I care for. I have courses Monday through Thursday, and I do have some flexibility with my afternoons at times. As an art student, I can bring my work with me, meaning it is not likely difficult for me to spend time at the pet's house, especially as the weather gets colder. I often have lots of flexibility on Fridays, and I am happy to discuss more, again, especially if you are looking for a repeat sitter. I do not have any pets of my own. I live on the second floor of an apartment building, with easy access to outside via stairs, or a slightly further away elevator. I can and do keep my house clean, and would keep the pet in the main room with my supervision. My building has an extremely large yard as well as a very long grassy path, both to play and take more comfortable walks for Puppy's feet. If there is a pet in my vicinity, I cannot take my attention away, so trust we would have a fun day together. Other important notes: - I have a vehicle I can rely on for transportation of myself as well as pets - I do NOT have a kennel or crate for dogs/pets - I do NOT have a carseat or harness for dogs/pets - I do NOT have toys or food. *I will gladly come your way, or bring your pet my way. I just ask that anything important such as food, favorite toys, and any equipment is available for the pet to use while I am sitting them. I do have water, of course!
