No, we are not relatives or neighbors of/to them. No we didn't know them from the ole' college days, and no we didn't meet them at a bar or grocery store. Nope. We just needed a sitter about 5 days before we left town, saw their listing here on Rover. We messaged back and forth a bit, booked it, dropped 'em off Friday night, and WOW! They are truly into being great sitters for your pups! No joke. You could not ask for anymore. So many updates. So many little features that I will not tell you, but you will love... We promise. When I had dogs, I let them sleep on the bed with us. I also let them sit on the furniture, too. And I do spoil them, also. I work full time in the afternoon shift but my boyfriend works mornings so there is always someone home. He loves animals, too! I do my best to work around my schedule. Our bird Kerry only goes in his cage when we are both out of the house and at bedtime. Otherwise, we let him out. Kerry is used to dogs. He likes to talk to dogs.

She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I recently had a foster dog that was used as a breeding Mom dog for 4 years and was terrified when we got her. I have pet sat at my home for family, friends, and neighbor's dogs. I would go multiple times a week to my neighbor's house to take her dogs out and play with them while Mom & Dad were working late. I have also volunteered with humane societies over the years, even flew down to FL to volunteer with a rescue after a hurricane. We can administer insulin and give oral medications. We also LOVE elderly animals. We are licensed bonded and insured. And have decades of the world under our feet. Animals are like people to us. We actually prefer them, and function with them better. Living on a five acre hobby farm for over a decade. They are literally our family now that the kids have aged into adults. It’s me and my husband Mike here. My family helps me operate a small pet care business out of Big Rock IL. House Sitting: We treat your home with respect and follow all of your rules. Water plants. Get mail. And stick to pet schedules. Please advise we do this full time. Each sitting is different as each animal and owner ask for different things. If full time care is needed it will be an extended stay rate of 125 for 8am through 8pm hours and 75 for the night. If we can’t come and go. We can’t make money. This is all I do for income and no one can survive off of only 75 or less for the day. Otherwise most sittings look like me making that my center of gravity through any schedule I have for the day. Usually no longer than four to six hours away from the home while out with drops in accrued in a single day. For Boarding: PLEASE READ: This is a home setting; we do not consistently tour our home. I believe the photos on here and reviews do us justice. We send pet parents updates with the surrounding view almost daily to every other day. Having people walk through the house consistently was just too much for out family and the farm animals here. So we do not do this anymore. In the future we may build a kennel/outbuildings addition, and will offer tours of that should the time ever come that we decide to do that. But again, WE DO NOT PROVIDE TOURS OF OUR PERSONAL HOME. There are also other considerations to consider that most residential people do not account for. 1. Liability coverage: my liability coverage covers your animals. Not you. 2. Animal anxiety: it’s a chain. The system I have for doing things allows for animals to be as calm and anxiety free as possible. If you’re on the property. The regulars don’t know you and anxiety fills the entire area. 3. Biosecurity: Don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t know where your shoes have been. 4. Private farm setting: exactly as it states. The lay out past my private acres long drive does not even allow access to my front door without going through two secured gates. It’s not easy access. 5. Safety: I live in the middle of nowhere, and do not need anyone to know the exact lay out of my home. You’re signing up for pet service. I am providing this service. Not giving people access to my home. Thank you for understanding. Please note this is a country setting. Someone is always here if I (Kim) am not. Sometimes photos have issues sending. But they always eventually go through. Service can be patchy because it’s the country. Text updates are reliably daily. I pride myself on building close relationships with my clients. I treat the animals I care for with top priority as my family does this full time and this is our entire income. Our reviews and the animals we care for speak for themselves. If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your animals with truth, trust, and transparency. About: Love to have a furry companion on my walks and give them some time outside, I’ve had dogs my whole life big and small and always enjoy walking them. Me and my husband are working part time, and we love dogs, so we have plenty of free days to spend and take nice walks with your pup! I have an unfunded yard, however I have 3 tie outs and a large outdoor dog pen. I have a small house, but I have an attached single car garage that has been converted into an extra room for the dogs. I have 2 friendly dogs that will be able to keep your fur baby company.

My dog owners are very pleased with my skills and patience with their dogs. They appreciate my care and kindness I show to their babies. About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I use StarMark collars on my dogs, these collars guarantee that they won’t and can’t really slip away, these collars are great especially if your dog pulls, my dog used to pull a lot and I was able to get him to do great while walking. I love being able to work with dogs 1 on 1 at first so they can get learn to trust me and feel safe!! Both of my dogs are extremely friendly. Bear is the most gentle giant and Daisy is just the sweetest girl ever. I would love to get to know you & your animals.

Renae went above and beyond the call. She took him to parks and the beach and kept him busy the whole weekend. We are first time dog owners and she did a great job of relieving the stress of leaving a dog so young with a stranger. She even gave us a few pointers that she's picked up on in her time with dogs. Our young rescue dog, Cooper had never spent the night with anyone else but us since we rescued him so we were nervous. Kasey was so understanding and patient as she walked me through the process. Cooper was accepted by their lovely dogs right away at their meet and greet. The drop off was easy and Kasey communicated all throughout Cooper's stay. That really put us at ease.
