“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

The reality is that we never know exactly what is happening with our beloved pets when we entrust them to someone else. My fur-babies can’t tell me. So the best we can do is look for someone who we believe is trustworthy and caring. What do I believe? I believe that Amanda and her family are caring and honest. This family has a great capacity for love, and my dogs feel loved when they stay with them. Amanda and her husband have their hands full caring for 5 kids, work schedules, and volunteering in their community. But they also have the energy and organization skills to excel in handling their responsibilities. My dogs have 5 kids/teens to play with them, and that also makes them happy. Their new house currently only has a small enclosure in the back yard. But my furbabies were apparently taken out on a leash regularly. I believe them when they say that they will be enlarging the fenced area in the near future. I do not hesitate to recommend Amanda and her family. If your dogs need a family that takes the time to play, cares for them, and takes time to snuggle with them, I believe this family is your best bet.”

About: I have been taking care of various sized animals for the past several years. I am comfortable giving medications if need be and following any special instructions you may have for your four-legged babies! I am currently in college classes full time Monday-Thursday, however after 1pm I am fully available! This is not a hindrance at all when caring for your pets in your home. My name is Lauren and I would love to take care of, walk, feed, or just love on your pets (: I currently have a 6 year old pitty mix and a 15 year old chow mix and they are my pride and joy! Growing up I had a family pug, so I have experience with small and large dogs! I currently am open during the week from 6am - 6pm to take care of whatever your needs might be for you and your pets! About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12 and worked as a zookeeper for the past 4 years! I have extensive experience caring for a large range of animals, including those with special health and age related needs. I'm home for the summer before I start my veterinary technician program in October. I will be traveling for periods of it but have an otherwise very open schedule. I own two cats, both of which are calmer in temperament, and have available separate space to care for smaller animals in my home. About: I am a 4th grade teacher with summers off. I have a passion for walking and dogs. So this is perfect for me! I walk my 90 lb chocolate lab (quite energetic and happy) miles everyday around the neighborhood and hiking trails. He is a pretty reactive dog (all love) so I am skilled in knowing what a dog needs and how they are reacting to the external variables on a walk, and how to react to that. I personally think my dogs are the best dogs in the world, and worthy of the very best care, and someone who will allow them to feel loved when we need to leave them behind. The reality is that we never know exactly what is happening with our beloved pets when we entrust them to someone else. My fur-babies can’t tell me. So the best we can do is look for someone who we believe is trustworthy and caring. What do I believe? I believe that Amanda and her family are caring and honest. This family has a great capacity for love, and my dogs feel loved when they stay with them. Amanda and her husband have their hands full caring for 5 kids, work schedules, and volunteering in their community. But they also have the energy and organization skills to excel in handling their responsibilities. My dogs have 5 kids/teens to play with them, and that also makes them happy. Their new house currently only has a small enclosure in the back yard. But my furbabies were apparently taken out on a leash regularly. I believe them when they say that they will be enlarging the fenced area in the near future. I do not hesitate to recommend Amanda and her family. If your dogs need a family that takes the time to play, cares for them, and takes time to snuggle with them, I believe this family is your best bet.”

About: I've had dogs almost my whole life. I've taken care of puppies, seniors, and special needs dogs. I love to go on walks, so if your furry family member needs a long walk I'm your gal. I can help with training, and if your baby doesnt have good leash manners? Don't worry. I work full time on second shift, with a varied schedule. However I'm usually able to pop in somewhere before work and take care of your pets. I wouldn't be ideal as a house sitter, or a boarder, but I'll happily check in on your babies and take then on walks. I like to make sure animals have plenty of time to sniff me out and get used to me. If you're cool with me giving them a treat, I may use one to bribe them. Otherwise I let the animal come to me. I'll feed your dogs exactly the right amount of food, let them out for the right amount of time, and exercise them at however long you want. Dogs and cats deserve respect and understanding. I'm not going to change their routine in addition to being a strange person.
