About: I have been a dog groomer since February of 2021 when i completed my training through Animal Behavior College. I am certified in dog CPR, first aid and skincare. My husband and I love having dog playdates with our two yellow labs. Your pup will receive plenty of playtime, enrichment, love and rest. Our dogs are our pride and joy. We have a large fenced in yard where your pup will have plenty of playtime with us and our labs. We allow our dogs on our couh but they mostly love laying in our sunporch.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.
About: I’ve had pets for the majority of my life. I have taken care of dogs, both small and big. Additionally, I have owned cats, mice, fish, ferrets and hamsters. Since then, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — dogs, cats, birds, Guinea pigs, lizards, and other small companions — and have also fostered extensively for my local animal shelter and I loved every minute of it. My foster work has included animals in hospice; seniors; dogs going through heartworm treatment; those with serious behavior issues; advanced starvation cases; kidney disease; and pets with other complex medical needs, so I am very comfortable following detailed treatment plans, giving medications, and monitoring changes in behavior or health. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially when your furry family needs extra care. However complex the case, I always look for ways to make your pet happy in addition to healthy, whether that be an extra slow walk with lots of sniffing, an enrichment toy with diet-approved snacks, or just some quiet time on the couch together. Most importantly, I know what I don’t know. Every pet is an individual with their own history and needs, and I never assume my past experience automatically applies to your furry family member. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I can work around your and your furry family's established schedule. When staying at your home, I can be with your pet most of the day. This means they get lots of attention and snuggles (if, and only if, they like snuggles!), and I can watch for shifts in their behavior, appetite, or energy levels and let you know right away. I only provide care in your home, which allows your furry family to stay in their normal environment and maintain their regular routine. I’ve found this keeps stress low and helps pets feel safe while you’re away. When I’m staying overnight, I treat your home and your furry family’s routine with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime instructions exactly as given.
About: I've grown up with dogs of my own and helping friends and family with their's while away. I've always loved spending time with them, training, playing, or just laying in the sun. I trained my Shetland Sheepdog for 4H and we made it to the state fair. I also taught him many silly tricks. I can be a professional fetch player or a professional cuddler, whichever your dog prefers. I can also just be a treat giver if your dog prefers space. I am currently working part time as a server, but my schedule is very flexible. I am a recently graduated college student, with the hopes of going to graduate school in the coming semester. About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. About: I have been a dog groomer since February of 2021 when i completed my training through Animal Behavior College. I am certified in dog CPR, first aid and skincare. My husband and I love having dog playdates with our two yellow labs. Your pup will receive plenty of playtime, enrichment, love and rest. Our dogs are our pride and joy. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

“Shaliyah and Ajanya were AMAZING care providers for our Sugar. He is a young, energetic, sweet dog and I wanted to make sure he was in good hands while we were out of town for a few days. They arranged a meet and greet at a nearby park. Both Shaliyah and Ajanya were kind and patient, yet firm with Sugar when needed. They maintained communication with us throughout his stay, sending updates with pictures and videos. They fed him, played with him, cuddled him, even practiced some commands with him and treated him like part of the family. Sugar was able to make some new doggie buddies, which I had been hoping for. About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed.
