About: I’m an animal science major with plans to pursue veterinary medicine, and caring for animals—especially dogs—is truly what lights me up. During high school, I was the go-to neighborhood dog walker, caring for dogs ranging from large breeds to small pups, which helped grow my confidence and love for working with all kinds of dogs. I also have four years of hands-on experience in a busy dog daycare, where I’ve worked with pups of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from energetic zoomie experts to shy cuddle bugs. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique quirks and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just some extra belly rubs, I treat every dog like they’re my own. My goal is to make your pup’s time away from you feel fun, comfortable, and exciting. I currently work at a dog shelter where my shifts are either from 7am-12pm or 4-9pm. I am happy to work around your pups schedule with ahead of time notice! Before, after, and during my break your dog will have plenty of time to potty and play. When I visit a clients home I give all my love and care to them to make sure they feel happy while the owner is gone. I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, safe, and comfortable as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding times, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free.
“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

“MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”

I have been a caregiver for 25 years and have experience with animals small to large, hedgehog to horse. We love them all! My home is a Safe Haven for all or we come by your house where animals feel most at home. We enjoy caring for a variety of animals and sharing toys, walks, and of course belly rubs. It really gives us a happy boost so we seek it out often. Our home is an isolated farm house with plenty of roaming room, no electric fences or shock collars here. Just one on one attention. We are a house of many cards, actually animals. We have two dogs, 4 fish, 60 birds including chickens, Guinea fowl, and ducks. We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to help rescue and release some back yard birds like doves and finches. We really do have a niche for this! I'm currently a stay at home mom of kids and animals. During the day I’m available to come by and say hi, or you can drop off and pick up around your work schedule. We live in an isolated area in the country(only 3 neighbors within a mile). No fence but we do have a lead if needed and we are always outside with our puppy playing and running. Animals are allowed to sleep on the floors or in my bed. We do have crates when necessary and we only give pure freeze dried liver as treats.

About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

I have adopted 6 dogs and believe they should all be loved like your own. I have been a Foster parent as well for Wishbone Canine Rescue, so have had experience with dogs coming and going and needing a place to lay their paws. I have 2 dogs and a cat that are welcoming to your pets needs and they love company. My home is dog friendly in that they have full access to the house and furniture and beds as well as 2 dog doors to go out into the dog run or fenced in yard as they please. I do also have dog crates as well as a indoor walk in dog kennel if needed to use. I work from home and available for your pets needs as they need them. I have the ability to attend to the dogs needs 24/7 unless otherwise discussed. I have detailed below what are the definitions we use for our services. BOARDING: Your dog comes to stay with me at my house from your drop off time till your pick up time scheduled by you. This is a overnight stay so please bring all items and food for your pets to make them feel comfortable during their stay with us. Disclaimer: I strive to provide a safe environment for all dogs that stay with us. In order to do so I require proof of vaccination upon the initial meet & greet. That needs to include: Rabies Distemper Bordetella All dogs must be spayed/neutered. Also when booked and dropped off I will recommend you leave me with a back up person to contact in the event that any problems arise during the stay and you are out of town. DROP IN VISITS: I come to your house to visit with your dog. What is done is dependent upon what you set up and what you need. This could be just checking in to play, go on walk, feed, or let out to potty. This will all be determined upon what you need. Note- This doesn't include overnight stay in your house. Note- Two methods of entry are required to prevent lock-outs. DOG MEET AND GREETS: I require dog introductions be done ahead of time for first visits with me that entail staying at my house with me as I know dogs will be dogs. I will make a time that works for both of us to come to my home and have play date and see how it goes. I will also come to your house for a meet and greet if you schedule drop in visits, walks, etc. To allow for proper introductions and to make sure it is a good fit. About my pets- All of my dogs and cats are fully vaccinated and on heartworm medication and flea and tick. Proof of my dogs vaccinations available if requested. Pet Health and Vaccinations: - All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and in good health. - Please provide proof of rabies vaccination upon initial meet and greet. - If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, I will notify you and seek veterinary care if necessary. Any associated expenses will be your responsibility. Emergency Situations: - In case of an emergency involving your pet, I will make every effort to contact you immediately. - If I am unable to reach you, I am authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary by a professional. - You will be responsible for any expenses related to emergency veterinary care not covered by Rover.

I have dogs of my own and I also take care of families dogs, friends dogs along with boarding other peoples dogs, and I also foster dogs. From raising two puppies to housing a friends dog temporarily, I have acquired experience with training dogs as small as french bulldogs to as big as pitbulls! About: I do have a cat of my own and a bunny and always dog sit my family dog Capone he’s about two and an half years old! And a pitbull mix, I do have references! About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
