“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

I work full time at home so I am home a lot to take care of your animals if they need somewhere to stay! I have a dog who is a Labrador retriever who is very friendly with all animals and people! I have a fenced in yard. I will give them enough outside time along with enough potty breaks and always have water available to them!

About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. I think Rover is a great alternative medium way for me to continue providing my love for dogs, and give back to the community. I am home quite often, most of the days if need be. I can work from home. My current entrepreneurial endeavor allows me to build my own schedule. In my home I would keep K9 nearby in my two main level living rooms. “MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. They are lovely, kind-hearted sitters who will give my babies the love and patience they need to become less feral and become the 2 house cats I need them to be.”

About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. “Savannah was a life saver! We were in town for the weekend for an event and she was able to accommodate my two small dogs on a last minute basis. She was very flexible and allowed late pick up (one of the events didn’t get done until 12:30 AM). My two pugs did amazing with her which really reflects how much she loves and cares for animals; they felt comfortable with her and made themselves at home. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. I have enjoyed training puppies and adult dogs over the years, and have pet sit for cats, hamsters and ferrets over the years as well. I look forward to meeting your baby! I currently go to school full time online, so pet sitting, training or dog walking will allow me to gain experience in the animal field while attending school and caring for your pets. My schedule is fairly open and flexible. If scheduling conflicts occur, a notification will be sent. I live in a townhouse that is extremely kid friendly and safe for your pets. I only take my dog outside on a leash and she stays indoors for the remainder of the day. I am comfortable in the guardians home, crate training or crating your dog if needed, or letting them play outside or at a dog park, if desired. I love to spend time playing with your pets, regardless of how long I am there. We can chill on the counch and relax or play fetch, and maybe try a few curds and tricks while I’m there!

I also looked after a high energy chihuahua for three weeks, routinely walking three or four times a day to burn some extra energy! I work full time in Bloomington from 9-6, Monday - Friday. Walks will take place as late as 8am or earlier, during lunch break if you’re home is within 15 miles of Bloomington, and after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and I am comfortable transporting the dogs to a dog park or swimming spot if they do well on field trips! I’m more of a homebody and love to play and interact with animals in their home. Your house rules & pet care needs will be met with respect and understanding. Your dog’s boundaries, safety and needs will be prioritized. I appreciate cleanliness and will respect your home as if it’s my own.
About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. I will give them love and play all day with them

About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. About: I have owned K9’s all of my life. I absolutely adore dogs of all types. At this phase of life I am currently taking a hiatus of owning a K9 while I consider owning more properties. I think Rover is a great alternative medium way for me to continue providing my love for dogs, and give back to the community. I am home quite often, most of the days if need be. I can work from home. My current entrepreneurial endeavor allows me to build my own schedule. In my home I would keep K9 nearby in my two main level living rooms. I have all laminate hardwood wood flooring. The fenced backyard allows for easy potty breaks and play time, however I will be with the K9 while they are outside to ensure their safety.
