“We left our pups with Caitlin for our week long family vacation and as always she provided EXCELLENT CARE! We wouldn’t trust our dogs with anyone else! “So incredibly grateful I found Melanie to take care of my boys for an extended weekend. She provided daily updates and tons of pics to ensure the guys were adjusting nicely to their vacation home. Definitely planning to use her excellent care in the future!”

“I cannot stress enough how AMAZING Hannah was! Not only was she great at communicating with me, but she kept me updated the whole time my puppy was in her care. This was my first time boarding my dog through Rover, and she made it a great first experience. I loved knowing that my puppy was getting well taken care of while I was away. I will definitely be booking with Hannah again(:”

“Peggy was great! She had to take in my dog to the vet LAST MINUTE ON CHRISTMAS EVE but didn’t complain so much as a minute. She was also able to get my dog into healthier habits and she lost those last couple pounds we were worried about! Absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommend.”

“Keandra went above and beyond to make sure my dog had a good time. She also was very flexible with pickup/drop off times which was helpful since I had a flight early in the morning. She also gave my dog a free shower and made sure he got plenty of exercise and play time with her dogs. 100% would recommend Keandra”

“I’ve left my puppy with Quinesha twice now, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again! She’s super nice, and my puppy absolutely adores her. She also sends plenty of photos and daily updates, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Amber was great with Luna, I noticed because Luna wasn't nervouse, normally she does. When we got back home she acted a little bit strange but I think is normal. Amber answered at all times when I texted her.”

“Thanks again for another great visit! Journey loves staying with Bill, which makes for worry-free vacations. She is well taken care of and makes herself right at home. She gets plenty of walks, which she loves, and we know she gets plenty of snuggles. We are grateful!!”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Hannah! She continues to show her reliability & trustworthiness week in and week out. Our dogs love and trust her very much! With how important they are to us we were very skeptical that we’d be able to find someone who we trusted would lovingly care for them the way they are accustomed to, but we found that with Hannah!”

About: I've had cats all my life. I currently live with my cousin who is a vet tech. I help take care of her pets. She has 2 cats both require daily medicines in pill form and fed twice a day. I clean their boxes and ensure they get the TLC they need while she is away.

About: I have cared for cats most of my life! I grew up in the country and had about 8 outdoor cats that I cared for growing up. Fast forward to today and my home has 2 wonderful cats that I care for! Both are special needs. PopTart has cerebellar hypoplasia and Lady comes from a former abusive home. I am very well versed in taking on any complex situations that may arise due to my experience with my special needs cats. I have loved cats for my whole life. Many cats I have met left a lasting impression on me. I remember all of their names. PopTart, Lady, Kellogg, Waffles, Buttercup, Lucy, Tigger, and the list goes on. I hope to add your cat to the list of cats that have changed my life!
“This is our second time using Georgia to care for our 4 kitties while we are gone. She has been great each time! Our boys are well taken care of and we’ve had such peace of mind knowing someone is loving our babies in our absence.”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and reactive dogs, and I understand the patience, consistency, and attentiveness they may need to feel safe and comfortable. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always try to meet them where they are. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers a calmer environment and extra reassurance, I’ll make sure they receive attentive, compassionate care. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet and helping them feel relaxed while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, exercise, and any behavioral or medical needs. I know pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I aim to provide calm, attentive care while respecting both the pet’s routine and the client’s home. Safety and communication are very important to me. I pay close attention during walks and interactions, especially with senior or reactive dogs, and I always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: My cats chose me almost 9 years ago by wandering onto our property, and today I simply can't understand how I lived without them! I'm a cat mom through and through, and I know how crucial it is to have someone you can trust caring for your fur babies on days you can't. I'd be honored to meet your little love(s) and learn how to care for them like you do. I'm happy to stop by once or twice a day to feed, brush, play, cuddle - whatever they're used to - so you can focus on your time away.

About: I have cared for cats in both a shelter environment and veterinary medical setting. I am well trained in medicine administration as a result, and feel comfortable giving injections, pills and other oral meds. I love the company that cats provide and just want to provide my love and care for them.
“Everything went wonderfully with Andrea! My kitty Lorenzo had the best time playing with her and telling her all of his stories. Andrea was respectful of my Henry's need for space and just a glance in his direction occasionally. Andrea was easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures of my boys while I was away.”

“Caitlin is hands down THE BEST!!!! Miles and Mabel spent the day with her and received the utmost care. She is so wonderful at knowing animals, knowledgeable about everything dogs related, and she provides exquisite, attentive care. We ❤️ Caitlin!”

About: Animals are my passion and caring for them is my kind of fun! The quality of care and love I provide is reflected in my pricing. I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I also love to learn about animal behavior (of all sorts-I'm very nerdy), enrichment and training because I believe a mentally and physically happy animal is a healthy one. I also have experience caring for exotic animals including guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, and lizards. I am happy to learn the needs of whatever baby I am caring for! I will not board any exotic animal or cats for their safety, but I'm more than happy to provide stop ins! ***If I do not believe I can care for your pet properly for whatever reason, I may have connections to those who do have the ability and I will be happy to help you find a new care giver.*** I am currently caring for two dogs from my home three times a week M,T, Th. They train, play, eat and snuggle with me all day. I also have a twelve year old, so If we humans have errands, vacations or an emergency-I let the pet parents know as far in advance as possible. I have two very friendly Australian Shepherd type dogs, an 12 year old human child, a husband and a cat of my own. (Somehow we all get along!) Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.
“Megan and Eric were so easy to work with! Communication and booking were a breeze, and our dog was super happy at drop off and pickup. Great people with a perfect setup for your pet. Definitely recommend!”
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15 years old for family and friends. I have experience with overnight stays at clients' houses as well as boarding at my own house and experience with puppies and senior dogs. I live an active lifestyle and love going for walks and runs with your furry friend. It is my goal to give your pet the exceptional care they'd receive from their own owner and love them well while you're away! I am home for the majority of the day during the week and have frequent weekend availability as well. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to assist at all hours of the day. I have an unfenced yard, but live close to walking trails and in a quiet neighborhood. I have children who adore dogs and look forward to being around them. Our sunroom is a great place for your animal to curl up and enjoy a nap in the sunshine.
“Great communication! Super flexible. By far one of the best rovers we’ve had! Rambo will miss you guys! If we’re back In Peoria we will def be reaching out to them! ❤️❤️”

“Feiran was amazing! Highly recommend! Lupa, our Husky, is a shy girl and can be overwhelmed with a pack of dogs, but loves humans. Feiran and her husband took time to let her become comfortable. Feiran also sent a ton of videos and pictures of both Lupa and Patches during the day care. And most importantly both dogs loved it. They were so exhausted when we picked them up that they immediately fell asleep on the drive home. This was a great experience and I will be booking again for day care and an upcoming vacation. Thanks Feiran!”

“Peggy is exactly the person you want taking care of your pets. She is patient, relaxed, and full of love! She has a dog of her own, Peanut, and offers to do an introduction before your booking to make sure all animals are comfortable. My days are somewhat unpredictable and Peggy was always accommodating and patient with my schedule. Maple would rush to her door each day in anticipation. We feel so lucky that Maple has been under such great care for the past 2 weeks!!”

“Ryan was our first time using Rover and he was awesome! Our silken windhound Maverick loved playing with his border collies. I loved getting updates with pictures of them playing together. It’s so hard to find someone who will do daycare for a non-neutered show dog, even when they have zero behavioral problems. 100% recommend Ryan if you want your pup to have a great day!”

“Karen was so wonderful! I was in Bloomington for five hours to visit family for the holidays and needed a place that my dog could stay while I was with family. Karen was incredibly accommodating and a happy safe space for my pup. He is disabled and has really bad separation anxiety. He was able to make him feel loved and safe and continuously sent me pictures and updates on him. I highly recommend using him:)”

“She was very kind and very accommodating! I was having surgery that day. The time I was going to be let out of the hospital depended on things going as planned. She fine with my being later than I had planned. My brother, who wasn’t so sure about leaving “our” Charlie with someone he didn’t know, picked Charlie up for me and was very pleased with Aratrika and the way she treated our little girl!!! I will definitely be bringing Charlie to Aratrika whenever I need a sitter. Thank you so much taking such good care of my little one!”

About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
“Andrea was great with my dogs and so attentive! She walked all three of them together, no small task, and they went a pretty long way. She told me they behaved, so either she got them all to listen well or she is very kind, either way a good sign. She was responsive to my texts and had great availability, I felt totally comfortable with her taking care of them. In fact, I booked her again for this weekend! I would definitely recommend Andrea!”

I have always grown up with a dog, so taking care of one is like second nature to me. I have looked after puppies as well as senior dogs. I have potty trained puppies in less than 2 weeks. I have been responsible for walking, feeding, entertaining/playing, and bathing services. I am a University of Illinois Student who is currently working part-time over the summer, therefore I have a flexible schedule! As as student at the University of Illinois, I have taken multiple courses in Animal Science, including Companion Animals in Society, Science of Pets and Their Care, and World Animal Resources. I walk my dog Arlo in the morning before work, and will do the same with pets that are under my care. I live on a lake and I do not have a fenced in yard, but I will walk them often. I will walk your pets around the neighborhood which you live if I am caring for them at your house. My 4 year old Husky/German Shepherd mix loves other dogs and is very friendly. My dog does not require a crate, however if that is something that your dog needs, I can accommodate! If I am watching your pets at my house, I will require proof of vaccinations to keep my dog safe as well!

Your pets' happiness is my top priority, no matter the day of the week! 🐾💕 Caring for pets, whether in my home or my client's home, is a top priority for me, and I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each pet and their owners. Here's how I go about it: **In My Home:** If I'm caring for pets in my own home, it's essential to ensure they feel comfortable and safe. I have a fenced yard, which is a great space for pets to play and exercise. When it comes to entering and exiting, I'm a chronic double checker - doors and fences will never be left open accidentally. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that your pets won't sneak out or face any unexpected safety hazards. **In the Client's Home:** When providing in-home pet care for clients, my organized and planning-oriented nature comes into play. I stick to a well-organized schedule that includes feeding times, walks, playtime, and any other specific requirements. I'm attentive to detail, making sure doors are securely closed and that the pets are safe at all times. My goal is to provide a seamless and worry-free experience for pet owners, knowing that their beloved animals are in capable hands. Overall, whether in my home or the client's, safety, organization, and a well-thought-out schedule are at the forefront of my pet care approach. Your pets' well-being is my top priority, and I aim to ensure they receive the highest level of care and attention.

About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals. Throughout my life I have had many animals from birds and Guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Koda, my youngest dog was completely trained by me in German commands. Working with dogs to learn new things is one of my favorite things to do. My oldest dog, Motley is a senior and the past couple years I have become very educated and trained on administration of medication and post surgery care. With experience from my own pets, I have many reliable references I have gained over the years that can vouch for me on my loving, dedicated, and superior care with their fur babies. I am currently a nanny and have almost completely open availability. I work Monday through Thursday during the day but can still do visits anytime! And I’m off Friday through Sunday so anytime those days as well! When visiting your home I am happy to provide any services you may need for your pet. This includes special feeding instructions, medication distribution, daily walks, baths, guaranteed playtime, and more all while treating them as my own with so much love! I am also happy to do drop in visits while you are at work or walks to get your babies steps in.

“Justin was phenomenal! Highly recommend! He even gave my boy a bath! He was home with him almost always. Someone was always with my pup. Very communicative. Prompt. Sends photos and videos. My pup had a great time!”

“Keandra went above and beyond to make sure my dog had a good time. She also was very flexible with pickup/drop off times which was helpful since I had a flight early in the morning. About: I’m an animal science major with plans to pursue veterinary medicine, and caring for animals—especially dogs—is truly what lights me up. During high school, I was the go-to neighborhood dog walker, caring for dogs ranging from large breeds to small pups, which helped grow my confidence and love for working with all kinds of dogs. I also have four years of hands-on experience in a busy dog daycare, where I’ve worked with pups of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from energetic zoomie experts to shy cuddle bugs. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique quirks and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just some extra belly rubs, I treat every dog like they’re my own. My goal is to make your pup’s time away from you feel fun, comfortable, and exciting. I currently work at a dog shelter where my shifts are either from 7am-12pm or 4-9pm. I am happy to work around your pups schedule with ahead of time notice! Before, after, and during my break your dog will have plenty of time to potty and play. When I visit a clients home I give all my love and care to them to make sure they feel happy while the owner is gone. I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, safe, and comfortable as possible. I take the time to learn each pet’s schedule, including feeding times, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free.

“So flexible and the best sitter we have ever had!! We are so appreciative!! (Tipping for last summer as well since I couldn't figure out how to do that after I submitted a review!)”

“Amazing sitter! Sharkey had the best weekend ever. He came home happy, relaxed, and very pleased with himself. I loved the photo updates and the extra care she gave him. He was clearly spoiled in all the right ways. Five stars and a tiny dramatic dog bow from Sharkey himself.”
