“They were amazing and great with our dog. She’s 100lbs plus and from photos, she made herself at home with the everyone and enjoyed herself! We will be booking with them again for anything we need to do with our dog.”

“Julia was fantastic! She took such great care of my dog, did more than I even expected of her. And kept up with any questions I may have had while I was gone and updated me with photos. Would book again. I could tell my dog fell in love with her and her dog while I was away.”

“I was nervous about leaving him with someone he didn’t know for a long weekend, but Bridget did an incredible job! She made him feel like he was at home and he got plenty of exercise with her dogs. She updated me with photos constantly and was very responsive. 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely have her watch Caesar again!”

About: I’ve spent the past 6–7 years caring for animals through the Kankakee County Humane Foundation, where I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all different sizes, personalities, backgrounds, and comfort levels. I also currently care for boarding pets at VCA County West Animal Hospital and have been pet sitting for several years. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic, playful pups to shy, nervous, or more reserved pets. Being around such a wide variety of animals has taught me how important patience, body language, routine, and earning an animal’s trust truly are. I genuinely adore animals and treat every pet in my care like they’re one of my own. 🐾 I currently work in animal care, so my schedule is consistent and easy to plan around. I’m at the shelter Mondays and Fridays from 7:30 AM–5 PM. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I work split shifts at VCA from 7:30–11 AM and 4:30–7:30 PM, leaving me available for walks, drop-ins, and pet care during the middle of the day and later evenings. Saturdays I work 7:30–10 AM and 5–7:30 PM, with a large window available in between. I’m also generally available on Sundays and am happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. As I grow my Rover clientele, I’d love to dedicate even more of my schedule to pet sitting and caring for your pets! 🐾 I live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood in Bradley with a fully fenced 4-foot chain-link yard. I have two dogs of my own who are incredibly sweet and friendly, but I understand that not every pet is comfortable around other animals. Introductions would always be done slowly and carefully, and I have a spare bedroom that can be set up as a cozy, quiet space for your pet if they need their own area to relax. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first. I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, potty, walking, crate, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. Pets will be supervised while outside, and I’m comfortable keeping animals separated when needed based on personality or comfort level. Because of my years of shelter and animal-hospital experience, I’m used to reading body language, working with nervous or shy pets, and adjusting my approach to what makes each individual animal feel safe. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. 🐾

About: ‼️Please read entirety of bio prior to sending a booking request Please note: My Rover profile information may not always be the most up to date, as I also own and operate my own pet care business - but I still get notifications here! Please message me so we can discuss your specific needs and availability! Hi, I’m Bee! I’m a medically retired police officer turned professional pet care provider. Pet care is my full-time work, not a side hobby. I take a calm, structured, safety-first approach and focus on low-stress care that allows pets to feel secure, respected, and comfortable. I have years of hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including seniors, rescues, anxious dogs, puppies, large breeds, and special-needs pets. ⸻ What I Offer • In-home dog boarding in a low-volume, structured environment • Structured dog daycare with supervised play and rest breaks • Drop-in visits for feeding, potty breaks, enrichment, and medications • Dog walks tailored to your dog’s comfort, energy level (must not pull heavily on leash) • Care for seniors, rescues, anxious, and special-needs dogs • Slow, intentional introductions and individualized care plans • Solo or one-on-one care options when appropriate for daycare and boarding • Real-time updates with plenty of photos and detailed written notes ‼️I do not provide boarding or daycare for cats, and I do not offer overnight stays in clients’ homes. ‼️Meet and Greets are mandatory to schedule any service. ‼️My two dogs, Trooper and Moose, will NOT be present for the meet and greet for boarding and daycare ‼️Dates are not reserved unless a deposit is prepaid in advance. ‼️Dogs must be crate trained to stay at Bee’s Bed and Barkfast daycare and boarding. This is a non negotiable for safety, feeding, rest and safe transitions. ‼️Boarding can be booked anytime, as long as the dates are within the next 3 months. I do not book out more than 3 months in advance. I am available generally anytime between sunrise and sunset. Due to a vision disability, I may occasionally need to adjust timing on very rainy days, and I do not drive after dark. If weather requires a schedule shift, I’ll always communicate in advance and ensure your pet still receives attentive, high-quality care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. I provide intentional, structured care designed to reduce stress, prevent issues before they happen, and create a calm, predictable experience for both pets and owners. About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities and needs. At the animal shelter, I regularly cared for a cat room housing 10–15 cats at a time, along with additional cats who needed to be kept separately. I’m comfortable handling, feeding, cleaning, monitoring behavior, and working patiently with cats who may be shy, nervous, or more independent. I also have experience with cats through boarding at VCA, grew up with cats in my household, and continue to care for outdoor cats as well. I’m confident reading feline body language and adjusting my approach to help each cat feel safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve had all kinds of animals growing up. Dogs, horses, cats, goats, a parakeet or two, I love animals so much. I have a ton of dog experience from puppies to seniors. I also understand the anxiety of leaving your pets alone and the importance of having someone you can trust to care for your pets when you have to be away. I’ll take care of your pets like they are my own. I’m currently attending massage therapy school so I need a flexible option, but I’m free a lot of the time and don’t mind driving to different locations. I treat my pets like family because they are my family. I understand the value of our pets and will treat each one like they are my own.
About: Hello! I’ve cared for dogs and cats for years — including rescues, seniors, and pups with lots of energy! I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I promise to keep you updated with cute pictures and messages throughout their stay. Your fur baby’s comfort and safety come first! 🐕✨ I am currently working part time. Which is Tues-Sat 4pm-11pm tho so I’m anytime free before then. & I am off every Sunday and Monday I rent a home with a fenced in backyard. I do currently have 2 dogs. (Chihuahua mixes and a heeler mix.) they are crate trained so if you’re more comfortable with them staying separated from your baby(ies) that is absolutely no problem, depending on the duration of the stay.

About: Cats have always been a special part of my life, from growing up with them to now sharing my home with my own two beloved cats. Living with cats has taught me to appreciate their unique personalities, respect their boundaries, and recognize the little changes that can signal they need extra attention. I understand that cats thrive on consistency, patience, and a calm environment, especially when their people are away. Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers quiet companionship, I'll make sure they receive attentive care, affection on their terms, and the routine they're accustomed to. My goal is to help your cat feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you're back home, while giving you confidence that they're in caring, capable hands.
About: Taking care of your animal will be my number one priority. I love animals, I will be more than attentive to their needs and accommodate anything you would like. I’m available any time you need me and I will take in any animal, big, small, furry, hairless, you name it! I love them all. I’ve had animals my whole life so I know how to take care of dogs, I’ve had cats now for 5 years and kittens and it’s a handful but it has taught me so many things needed to be a perfect sitter! I love getting pets toys, and fancy food sometimes to spoil them so expect that (if it’s fone with the owner) of course. I can’t wait to meet you and your lovely pet!

“Emalee did everything as instructed. I only wish she mentioned the smell of uneaten food rotting in the kitchen trash can, so it could have been properly disposed of outside.”

About: What sets me apart as a cat sitter is my understanding that cats thrive on consistency, patience, and respect for their space. With over 5 years of experience caring for cats, I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities from playful kittens to senior cats, from affectionate lap cats to shy, independent observers. That experience has taught me how to read subtle cues, adapt quickly, and create a calm, secure environment in any home. I take the time to learn your cat’s unique preferences, routines, and boundaries so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I follow a structured daily routine to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible. Each visit includes fresh food and water, litter box cleaning and monitoring, a wellness check, and quality time tailored to your cat whether that’s interactive play, enrichment activities, brushing, or quiet companionship. If medication is required, I carefully follow instructions to ensure it’s given properly and on schedule. I’m highly observant and attentive to detail. I notice small changes in appetite, behavior, or energy levels and communicate promptly if anything seems off. I don’t just “stop by” I make each visit intentional and meaningful so your cat feels cared for, not just supervised. Communication is a priority for me. You’ll receive thoughtful daily updates with photos so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and organized. Most importantly, I genuinely care. After five years of cat sitting, one thing has remained constant. I treat every cat as if they were my own. Their comfort, safety, and emotional well-being always come first.
About: I've been caring for animals most of my life, from growing up with family dogs to being a dedicated cat owner for the past four years. Caring for pets has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and giving each animal the love and attention they deserve. Although I'm new to Rover, I'm committed to providing dependable, personalized care and treating every pet like they're part of my own family. I'll always follow your pet's routine, keep you updated with photos, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'm available Monday through Saturday during the morning and afternoon for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I have a flexible part-time schedule, so I'm happy to work with your pet's routine whenever possible. Sundays are my day off, so I'm unavailable that day. When caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of playtime, walks (if needed), and lots of love and attention. I'll also keep your home tidy, clean up after your pet, and provide regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for in the place they know best.
About: I love to spend time with them , I like to play with them, I like to take them to the park. I will always keep them on a leash. I can teach them some tricks, sit , stay roll over. I can take them out every two hours, to go potty. I can keep them over night. I took care of a one eye cat, I took care of a blind dog. I have had dogs in diapers. I took care of a Yorkshire, who was pregnant, she went into labor at my house, and my mom and I delivered three little babies they came out every forty minutes. We help clean the babies, and my dog Chuckie helped to. Give them kisses, hugs.
About: I’ve had dogs, bunnies, and other animals my whole life! I just graduated college, and am looking for a good way to spend my extra time right now:) I currently have a very open schedule, so there’s not much that wouldn’t fit into my routine right now. Pet care would be the perfect addition to my routine:) I have a lot of experience caring for pets in other peoples homes. I love taking dogs for walks, and playing with them especially when the weather is nice!

About: I've had cats my entire life, giving me a deep understanding of their needs. Over the past six years, I’ve cared for hospice cats and managed various health issues, including administering insulin and medications. Working from home allows me to provide constant care and attention, with plenty of toys and enrichment activities. My cozy home is shared with three friendly cats—two seniors (12 & 14) and a recently adopted 5-year-old—who all get along well with others. I’ve created hidey holes for shy kitties to feel secure. I maintain a clean environment, deep cleaning litter boxes weekly and scooping them twice a day. We have three litter boxes (one upstairs and two downstairs) and keep fresh water and dry food available on both levels. If your cat has specific dietary needs or a feeding schedule, I’m happy to accommodate that. Living in a quiet country setting, I can offer a peaceful environment. For adventurous cats, I have a pet stroller and can take them on walks if they enjoy the outdoors!

About: Pet adventure guide with a talent for river walks, snack negotiations, belly rubs, and earning the trust of even the sassiest cats. I only care for one “pack” at a time, so your pets get my undivided attention and personalized care—whether they’re boarding with me or just stopping by for the day 💜 After a career shift, I found myself with more flexibility in my schedule—and I decided to dedicate that time to doing something I LOVE 🐾 Safety First, Shenanigans second! Since my yard is unfenced, outdoor time is always supervised. I use a 125-lb-rated ground lead or a long leash held securely in hand, and I prefer dogs to wear a harness while in my care. On walks, I’m always keeping an eye out for anything that may trigger, disturb or excite your pup and I use positive redirection when needed. I follow your pet’s routine and preferences as closely as possible to make transition of care easier.
“Bridget did an awesome job with Ardal! She took great care of him and sent me a few updates, which I appreciated. I have a very tired, very happy pup and will definitely be requesting future daycare appointments!”

From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! About: I have had dogs all my life & have taken care of friends & family’s pets. I tend to adopt “problem” dogs that other people can’t handle. I love a challenge & gaining the trust of the dog. I’m currently working from home & was a bartender for the last 20 yrs but now looking for a new career with animals because they are my true passion. I just moved to the Gardner, Illinois for a bigger yard & a 6ft privacy fence to expand my dog sitting business. I also have a small pool for the dogs. I have lots of gates up throughout the house & different rooms I can put dogs in if any need to separated. I also have large crates I can use.

About: We’re happy to provide a temporary, loving, and dependable home for your pet while you’re away, giving plenty of care, attention, and affection to help them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home 🐾 También hablamos español. 😌 There is always someone home during the week and on weekends, allowing pets to receive consistent care, attention, and companionship throughout the day in a calm, supervised environment. Your pet will be able to make themselves at home inside, either in their crate if that is your preference or their own bed, there is plenty of room! When they’re ready to be outside, they’re able to roam in our big fenced in yard. We live in a great neighborhood, so walking is part of our routine too! There are no other pets in our house.
“What a blessing James/Jim has been! Not only did he step up at the last minute to meet and walk our boys, he went above and beyond when I got a call from my 91 year old mom that my big dog was freaking out and crying to go out and we were stuck on a train! We send an SOS to Jim and he flew back to the site and took Rafa out where he had diarrhea! That would have been inside our RV if not for Jim. It is the first time we have used a dog walker rather than a sitter and it worked out great. Rafa is not always friendly but he was joyful when Jim came to walk him.”

I’m patient, reliable, and comfortable with feeding routines, meds, and special care needs.
“Emalee saved the day! I was running late to get Goku out due to inclement weather and messaged Emalee at the last minute! Yay! She was able to cover his afternoon walk. Great job as always! Much appreciated!”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on dog watching experience, I provide more than supervision I provide stability, attentiveness, and genuine care. Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages. From energetic puppies who need structured activity to senior dogs who thrive on a calm, predictable pace, I understand how important it is to adapt to each dog’s individual needs. What truly sets me apart is the balance I bring between structure and affection. Dogs feel most secure when their routine stays consistent, so I make it a priority to maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible. My daily routine typically includes on-time feedings, fresh water refresh, bathroom breaks, and exercise tailored to your dog’s energy level. Whether that means long walks, active play sessions, enrichment activities, or simply relaxed companionship, I adjust based on what your dog needs that day. Beyond the basics, I focus on mental stimulation and emotional well-being. I reinforce positive behaviors, engage in interactive play, and ensure your dog has both active time and calm downtime. I work overnight shifts during the week, and I dedicate my weekends fully to pet care. This allows me to provide focused, unrushed attention from Friday through Sunday. I intentionally keep my weekend availability open for pet sitting so I can give each pet consistent, quality care without overbooking. Weekend care includes structured routines with feedings, walks, playtime, enrichment, and calm companionship tailored to your pet’s needs. I make sure their schedule stays consistent and stress-free while you’re away. When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep everything as normal and stress-free as possible. Pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I prioritize maintaining their routine, respecting their space, and creating a calm, consistent presence while you’re away.

I'll always follow your pet's routine, keep you updated with photos, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. About: I love animals. I have owned a horse, birds and fish. Although I never owned a dog or cat, Friends and family have always asked me to pet sit and I have always been more than happy to ablige. As a former letter Carrier, my favorite customers were four-legged. I am retired and want to stay active. Who can keep you more fit and active than a dog that is waiting for a walk-date? When I have dog sat, I usually go for multiple walks. I can walk all day. The dogs love it and it makes them tired. Animals need mental stimulation outside of their house or yard just like people. I try to find things to keep us both busy and happy.
About: I use to work with kids so nothing suprises me and I'm very good under pressure. I always find another way. I love all animals I'll even watch your other pets. I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, birds, and etc just ask. I'm always willing to learn. I will also work with dogs of all kinds even special needs of any kind or just special stuff needed to be done with them. A month and a half after getting my puppy she jumped out of my sister arms so I had a energized mini aussie on my hands that had to wear a splint for her broken leg. I'm ready for any challenge I work 38/40 hour weeks so I would pet sit before my shifts; after my shifts. If in Pontiac I would also do it during my hour lunch if needed It’s been years since I was an “official” pet sitter but really whatever the animal needs I am willing to do. Every animal needs slightly different care
About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
