“A very bad storm came through town while Hannah was doing a drop-in visit with our boys. She made sure to stay with them until the storm passed so they wouldn’t be scared and would feel safe. She even went as far as standing all of our potted plants back up that had blown over outside! Saying Hannah went above and beyond would be an understatement. I had adopted a large pup named Bruce that was 8 years old when I got him. I loved him as my child and I promise to care for your dogs the same way I did Bruce! Believe me he was one big SPOILED baby. We went on long walks everyday. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with bone cancer. With covid I had the option to finish my school year from home and was able to care for him in his final months. RIP Bruce. 🙏 Where we are staying now does not allow pets or I would have dogs and bring my Hedgehog Beau over. I'm excited to meet your furry family members no matter the size. I work fulltime as a bank teller but I am available most days in the evening and on the weekends. Reach out about any scheduling questions. Trips to the park, hiking the trails, or just letting our noses take us whereever they do is a must! We can play fetch or whatever their favorite activites are. About: I’ve had pets in the home my entire life; cats, dogs, fish, hamsters and Guinea pigs. I have been the proud owner of a pit bull, pit bull mix, boxer, lab and a St Bernard. I currently have a German Shepherd, Zeus, that is my whole heart. My son and I with help of tons of videos and research have taught our boy 20+ commands/words. I run/walk/hike with him 3-4 times a week in snow/rain/cold/humidity. We actively play and train daily. I put every effort into giving my fur babies the best life possible. I mean, we chose them, they didn’t choose us. I have owned short and long haired cats. I am familiar with the daily grooming for long haired felines. I currently am a cat mom also to a short and long haired. I am very familiar with kitten and puppy care as well. I have a full time job Monday through Friday. I am available week days after 3:30 and all day on Saturday, Sunday and major holidays. I will follow the instructions given to me for drop ins. I certainly wouldn’t put your pet in harms way playing indoors/outdoors or on a walk.

I have cared for family, friends and my own pets since 2009 - feeding, watering, training and administering medication. I worked for The Animal Hospital of Monticello from December 2021-September 2023 where I cared for many different breeds of cats and dogs, at many different age and health levels. I am familiar with animal first aid and am regularly educating myself on medical concerns/treatments because health is my #1 priority. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

I do not require your pet be crate trained if I’m sitting at my house or during doggy day camp but if they stay over night I require they be crate trained or atleast potty trained. About: I grew up with animals of all kinds and love to be around them. I have experience with all kinds and ages, from newborn to super seniors. Two of my childhood dogs required medication, I have experience administering injections and oral medications. I also have experience administering topical and oral medications to cats. I have few routine obligations and will likely be able to make any pet sitting requests a priority. I am generally available from about 8:30am until 11pm every day. I can stop by on whatever schedule you desire and interact with your pet(s) as close to the way you would as I can. My goal is to provide care as similar to yours as possible so that your pet is comfortable and enjoys their time with me. With drop in care, I will be sure to administer medications, feed, water, and groom as instructed as well as cleaning litter boxes and extra gifts, and, of course, providing desired attention. Late mornings and Afternoons are the times i am most flexible with my schedule. So it that time frame works for you, it works for me! I have a flexible schedule and usually do not have many obligations during the week. I prefer that daily walks are scheduled no later than 5-6 pm but Drop ins are more flexible. Services include drop in dog walks and play sessions and overnight pet sitting for short or long terms. I’ve cared for two large fluffy dogs with special needs for two months at a time. I also looked after a high energy chihuahua for three weeks, routinely walking three or four times a day to burn some extra energy! I work full time in Bloomington from 9-6, Monday - Friday. Walks will take place as late as 8am or earlier, during lunch break if you’re home is within 15 miles of Bloomington, and after 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekends are flexible and I am comfortable transporting the dogs to a dog park or swimming spot if they do well on field trips! I’m more of a homebody and love to play and interact with animals in their home. Your house rules & pet care needs will be met with respect and understanding. Your dog’s boundaries, safety and needs will be prioritized. I appreciate cleanliness and will respect your home as if it’s my own.

I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
