About: Having grown up around everything from hedgehogs to mastiffs and either helped or been responsible for their care, I have a lot of practice in many areas of pet caregiving. I have studied dog and cat behavior in particular, and though my specialty is with cats, I am very well-versed in dog communication as well. I also have experience medicating ill or disabled animals in a way that limits stress and maintains a healthy relationship. I work from home on a flexible schedule, so I can shape my schedule to what's best for your pet. My ideal pairing is with night owls like myself, as I tend to sleep in and stay up late. If you're planning a date night, or if you work late and can't check on them, I can fill in those gaps. I believe that a safe and low-stress environment is best accomplished by knowing who I'm working with. If your pet is skittish around new people, I will move calmly and avoid eye contact or unprompted touch. If they want a playmate for when their people are away, I can be exciting and fun! If I need to do anything that may be stressful to your pet, such as bathing them, correcting behavior, or medicating them, I will take extra time to sit with them and let them hear my voice in a nonthreatening context, to bring the relationship back to something more trusting. I do not wear strong scents or talk loudly, and if play gets too out of hand, I know how to calmly but firmly redirect into more acceptable behaviors.

As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. I work remotely and my husband also has a flexible job. Between the two of us, we'll ensure your pets needs are covered! As far as experience, I grew up around dogs, and I adopted my own shelter dog, a 50lb pitbull mix at 6 months old in 2018. I trained her and another dog on my own. We will treat your pet like our own, with love and affection. You can rest at ease while you are away that your pet will be comfortable and well taken care of! We've had dogs as young as 4 months, and elderly dogs with special needs. Whatever level attention your pet needs we will do our best to take as good of care of them as their owners do! I work remotely as a real estate agent and my husband is an entrepreneur, so we're both around! It will be me 95% of the time caring for your pet, but my husband may help out when needed. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly, medium sized dog and a cat to keep your fur baby company. You're pet can be crated or kept separate if needed.

About: What sets me apart from others? I managed a humane society and owned a dog transportation business. I have 2 girl dogs that are 11 and 3 yrs. I have always had dogs and pets. About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.
About: I have a lot of animal experience over the years from having and owning my own pets, and caring for friends and families furbabies. I've helped foster some kittens and cared for animals that are unwell that need close attention. I'm looking to help and be more involved in animal care, as they mean so much to me. Once I start caring for your animal, they're apart of my family too ❤️ My schedule is relatively flexible. I can care and watch for them anytime from 8am-5pm on the dates I have available, I'm willing to do night care but I prefer during the day. Overnight stays are something to be discussed, as each situation is unique. My pets are very spoiled. The ones I live with now were my partners before coming into the relationship, but they quickly stole my heart. Khloe (Akita dog) loves her cheese, butter and chicken, she free roams our yard in colona, and goes on multiple car rides and adventures. I walk her at least twice a week, but she's older and has difficulty keeping up. Kourtney (tabby cat) loves to get pets when it's on her terms, has an rbf, and speaks her mind. She's not mean, doesn't attack others or hiss at people, but she's stands further away to observe more than participate. These two absolutely love each other, and cuddle all the time. Any time I watch my friends animals I really stick to the schedule or plan that's given to me. Even all the quirky things that they need to feel comfortable while you guys are away. The animals feeling comfort, safety, and love is always the number 1 priority.
