About: I've taken care of dogs of many breeds ever since I was a little girl. I took care of feeding, exercising, and bathing our dogs for my family. I also work as a kennel tech at autumn green hospital where I take care of pets daily including bathing, feeding , playing with and giving medication. I currently work as a kennel tech, and my schedule is kind of all over the place. However, I can bring your pet to work with me after they are reviewed by my boss to make sure they pass their rabies and fecal tests. I’m available Saturday mornings until 1 PM and am free all day on Sundays! I will update this note on a month-to-month basis depending on my schedule. If I were in your home, I would let your pet warm up to me first. Then, I would make sure they have clean water and food, follow any instructions you have for me, and give them lots of cuddles and love to keep them happy.
About: I’ve taken care of my family dog until he passed. He was 16yrs old. I also take care of my sisters dog. He is a Husky/ German Shepard mix. My dog recently passed and I miss walking him. His daily walks were 7am and 6:30pm. I’m also opened to walking your dog on weekends. I have a huge fenced yard and a one floor home to reduce stair climbing for senior dogs. About: I have always loved every different kind of animal out there, but spent my childhood with mostly just cats. 15 years ago, I adopted my first puppy, a German Short-haired Pointer, at the age of 8 weeks. My ex-husband and I decided to take the "treatless training" approach which was a huge success! Crate training, leash training, obedience training were all a collaborative effort and turned out extremely well. 10 years later, we adopted a sweet rescue named Gizmo who was already 7 years old, but became part of the family immediately. They have both passed on now to doggy heaven, but I am always the first to offer to care for other family member's pets anytime I can :) I'm currently working part-time from my home in Blackberry Creek and always have time for some fur-ball company. My 2 girls, 7 and 10 years old, are with me part time and are also very helpful, gentle and patient with our pets and hopefully yours! I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room for your fur-baby to play and exercise! If it better suits you, I can always come to your home as well for potty and play time :) UPDATE 6/8/26 - Since starting my Rover journey in 2022, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing pets and their wonderful families. Tigger’s owner had rescued him from a Chicago Animal Shelter just months before I began caring for him. As a 100 lb. Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Bully, etc. mix, Tigger was a big boy with an even bigger heart. His owner dedicated to helping him become the best version of himself, especially since he wasn’t always comfortable around other dogs. With patience, training, and love, he blossomed into the sweetest, gentlest giant you could imagine. When his owner unexpectedly passed away, her husband reached out to ask if I would consider adopting Tigger. My answer was immediate: absolutely. I couldn’t bear the thought of him returning to a shelter. Bringing Tiggy into our family was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My girls and I were lucky enough to love, spoil, and cherish him for three wonderful years before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss him every day, but are so grateful for the time we had together. Since then, we’ve also welcomed two adorable brother cats into our home. They keep us smiling and full our days with plenty of fun and affection. While our family has grown, we’re excited to have some doggy energy back in the house through Rover! When your pup stays with us, they’ll be welcomed with open arms and treated like a part of the family. About: I have 3 large dogs in my household, all of very different personalities. On top of that, friends and family have also relied on me to take care of their pets while they are away as well. Recently, I have taken interest in animal rescue, and have helped rescue and send an injured mallard to the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors. I am currently a student at west aurora highschool, and I am a member of the national honor society. I come home to my three dogs and sometimes go to Oswego to take care of my families pets over there as well. I will be able to regularly check up on your pets and keep them well hydrated and fed. As well as going on walks to stay active.

About: I naturally get attached to animals, so your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll actually be cared for! I’m really patient and calm, which helps a lot with shy or anxious pets. I stick to routines and make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM–2 PM, so I’m generally available for pet care outside of those hours. I’m also pretty flexible with scheduling and happy to work with your pet’s routine! I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable while in my care. “Peggy was wonderful to our little Oscar. She messaged multiple times a day as requested and sent pictures of the little guy. She also noticed him biting his paws due to allergies and alerted me right away. I was in an area with bad service and did not get the message right away so she went ahead and reached out to my vet and scheduled a time to go in because he had chewed his paw to the point where he was bleeding. By the time I found out she was already on top of it. She took him and brought him home with a cone and gave him medication as prescribed. She even followed up asking about him days later once we picked him up. You can just tell that Peggy is an animal lover. I will absolutely be booking Peggy again, i love the fact that she only takes one dog in at a time because you know the full attention is going to your animal. Thank you Peggy!”
