“I felt so relieved to leave our doggie Whiskey with Susan and her husband. They gave him so much love and attention. She sent us so many pictures of how he was doing and his daily activities. She walked him, played with him and gave him all the love I could ever ask for. We felt so great leaving our doggie baby with her and have already planned another trip in the spring and have it booked. Im so happy I found her on Rover”

“We had never used an outside resource to care for our dog and we were completely surprised. Kimberly was thoughtful and kind and our dog was in amazing hands. She listened and walked us through the process and kept us updated throughout the whole weekend and even sent us pictures. We loved it and we will definitely use Kimberly again - she is awesome!!! Thank you for making our first time so easy.”

And she was absolutely wonderful about keeping us updated regularly! It’s hard to leave my pups, but her updates and pictures made it a lot easier. Leslie really cares for your pups. She is truly wonderful.”

“Michele was great! Our 5yr old dog was only babysat one time ever prior to this. So he's a bit nervous with strangers. We were out of state on vacation for 2wks and we were worried how he'd do. Well Michele sent pics and msgs everyday we asked which was great! Michele did an exceptional job! We are super pleased with Michele and would use her again for sure.”

“We are very pleased with Beatrice’s experience and caring for our 13 year old Cairn terrier Poodle mix that stayed with her for a week! That is the longest he has stayed away from us and he was in great shape when we picked him up. He was very well taken care of, and we received daily reports from her that were very reassuring. It was like a home away from home. We definitely plan to have him stay where whenever needed in the future! Thank you Beatrice!”

“Erin was fantastic with my dog, Max, this weekend! She provided daily updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Max was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. Erin was reliable, communicative, and treated Max like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter, and I would definitely book with her again.”

“Elizabeth was an amazing find on Rover! Starting from the meet and greet, she was a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t be more pleased with how well she took care of our baby girl Sophie! From updates including pictures to flexibility when we made it home early from a road trip, she made the experience so easy! I would definitely use Elizabeth again ?”

“Pallvi and her family are fantastic! This is our second time leaving our two dogs with them and the experience continues to be great. If you or someone you know is looking for a family to look after your furry friends, my wife and I cannot recommend Pallvi and her family enough.”

“Miranda came through for us in the last second when someone cancelled 2 days before our trip. Appreciate that so much. She sent constant updates of the pups and what they were up to and my dogs came and crashed which tells me they had a blast based on the pics and how tired they were :) Thanks Miranda!”

“Fanny is an excellent person and dog sitter, very dedicated. She sent us a daily photo and message with updates about Max. They went on many walks and our cocker spaniel was so happy to be with her. I 100% recommend her, great area and very affordable! Thank you so much Fanny!”

“This is the second time that we put our trust with Ms. G! Throughout the stay she sent pictures, updates and truly made us feel at ease. I would highly recommend and can see us seeking her out in the future.”

It was so nice getting the photos from Jackie, several times a day. Jackie is so accommodating and caring! I wish we had discovered her sooner!! She is the best!!”

“I absolutely love leaving my dog with Beyonka! My pup is always extremely happy when he goes to her place, and that gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s being well cared for. Every time I pick him up he smells delicious and looks so well-loved. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. I 100% recommend her—she’s amazing!”

“Miriam was wonderful, absolutely wonderful with Katie, our terrier rescue. She let her sit on her lap while she worked. She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I received numerous pics and videos that I thoroughly enjoyed. I met Terrell when I was leaving, and he seemed just as wonderful. I would give her 100 stars if I could.”

About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! I will gladly send photos and text updates upon request. Please do let me know your communication frequency preferences, so I don't accidentally disturb you with messages!

About: I have worked in kennel for 2 years. Currently, I work at a vet clinic. I have experience with dogs and cats. I can do drop ins, dog walking, spending overnights with the pets at owners home. I work full time and I am up bright an early. I can let you dogs out before and after work on weekdays. On weekend I can do drop ins, daycare and boarding at the owners house. I have reliable transportation. I will not have pets at my apartment due to size. I'd rather go to the owner's home for an easier transition for the dog/cat. To make it easier, I need a detailed schedule and a phone number to contact owners for updates and photos.

About: My family has owned dogs my entire life - I grew up learning how to best care for them. Very trustworthy, kind, loyal, and loving! I’ve had dogs through all the stages - puppy through senior care. (currently in film graduate school, so my availability reflects mainly weekends. BUT - I am willing to make weekday hours work as well, so please feel free to still reach out to talk about that!) I’m currently a graduate student - but i’m willing to make my schedule work to accommodate your needs! Whatever you need, i’m here to make it work for you, guaranteed! I’m great at following rules and instructions. Whatever your pet needs, I’ll be able to give them guaranteed. I’ve had experience with many breeds also!

About: My passion for dogs has been with me since a very young age. As a child, my dream was to be a vet because of my passion and love for animals. I have 20 years of service, and my approach to caring for my dogs at home has always been holistic and natural. I've reversed my dog's diagnosed disease naturally and have saved his life naturally when vets have told me to put my dog to sleep. I'm thorough with my dogs’ routine, medication, diet, and cleaning eating. That makes me highly prepared for the dogs I tend to. Fun fact: My family and I own 17 pets! Usually, when everyone goes on a family trip, I'm the caregiver for all our pets at once. Hopefully, the background I give of my experience gives you peace in choosing me to watch your babies 🐩🐶🐕 I do freelance work; it's my main source of income. Therefore, it’s easy to create my own schedule and very flexible days and hours. It will be easier for you to book with me as I strive to work with your schedule and needs effortlessly. Personally, with my own dog, I'm highly attentive. Even though we have a backyard, I strongly believe in always being present and attentive when taking your dog out to potty. Even in your own backyard! Anytime they are outside, I will be present. I also think it’s important to interact and be present regularly with them; they need attention and love, too. I make sure to spend time with my dog when I come home and make time to play, cuddle, and show him affection . Also, it's important for me to take him out of the house. Even if it's a short walk, cruising in the car to pick up errands or food. It's important for them to explore and experience different environments.
About: I've been caring for animals for over 12 years, starting with my own dog, Lola. Since both of my parents worked, I was often responsible for feeding her, taking her on walks, playing with her, and making sure she was well cared for. That experience taught me responsibility from a young age and helped me develop a genuine love for animals. Since then, I've cared for pets for friends, family, and neighbors, including dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I am currently home for the summer, which means my availability is very flexible and I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Once summer ends, I will be continuing my pilot training and taking online courses through Lewis University. Even then, my schedule will remain flexible, allowing me to continue providing reliable and attentive care for your pets. I have a fenced yard and one dog of my own, Phoebe, who is incredibly friendly and loves being around other dogs. She can play all day long and does a great job helping other dogs feel comfortable in a new environment! If your pet will be staying in my home, I would be more than happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so they can get to know Phoebe and make sure everyone is a good fit. Your pet's safety and well being are always my top priorities, and I will follow any routines or instructions you provide to help them feel right at home!
About: Hi my name is Asia. I’m really excited to have extra income but I’m more in it for the loving animals. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. About: Dogs have been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember — my wife Natalie and I grew up loving them, and that hasn’t changed a bit. From golden retrievers to tiny Chihuahuas, we’ve cared for dogs of all sizes over the years, walking and sitting for friends and family. Depending on the service and schedule, you may see me, Natalie, or the both of us — but rest assured your pet is always with someone who genuinely loves animals. We also share our home with a cat and a senior Chihuahua mix, so we’re completely comfortable with multi-pet households and cat visits too. Your pets are in loving, experienced hands! Pet care fits seamlessly into our routine! Natalie and I both work full time, but we have the flexibility to work from home, meaning we can be available during the day when needed. We’re also happy to schedule walks and visits during lunch breaks or after work hours to make sure your pet is taken care of on a schedule that works for everyone. The safety and comfort of every pet in our care is our top priority. In our home, we provide a warm, clean, and pet-friendly environment — we’re already pet parents ourselves, so we know how to keep things safe and comfortable for visiting animals. Our own dog and cat are friendly and well-adjusted, making for easy introductions when needed. For walks, we always use secure leashes and harnesses, stay aware of our surroundings, and follow any specific instructions from pet parents to keep walks safe and enjoyable. For drop-in visits and house sitting, we treat your home with the utmost respect, sticking to your pet’s established routine, feeding schedule, and any special needs or preferences you share with us. We communicate regularly with updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing, no matter which service you’ve booked with us.

For sitting at other’s’ home, I try and keep the pet’s schedule as close to normal as possible! I prefer sitting in other’s’ homes just to keep things simple for the furry babies.

About: My pet care experience consists of having a dog throughout my childhood and adult years. I've always loved the companionship of owning a dog and also visiting or babysitting families and friends' dogs/cats. With having a dog comes a lot of responsibility and attention whether that's feeding, letting outside, physical activity, and training. I'm experienced in all of those qualities. The pet care that I will be using through the new dogs and cats I meet are the basics of giving treats, going for walks, and playing fetch or ball. Those basics are important and useful for dog caregivers because any dog would love the attention and care that you are giving them unconditionally. I'm also experienced in grooming with bathing the pet if needed. Whether that's outside with a hose and soap or inside in a bathtub. Dogs are my best friends and should be treated with love and companionship therefore I would treat the dog and make sure they are happy and comfortable but also safe and calm at all times. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.

“Leslie was amazing!!! It was obvious right away that my dogs loved her. She was so good with Molly and Bear, whether it was playtime or snuggle time. And she was absolutely wonderful about keeping us updated regularly! It’s hard to leave my pups, but her updates and pictures made it a lot easier. Leslie really cares for your pups. She is truly wonderful.”

“Miranda came through for us in the last second when someone cancelled 2 days before our trip. Appreciate that so much. She sent constant updates of the pups and what they were up to and my dogs came and crashed which tells me they had a blast based on the pics and how tired they were :) Thanks Miranda!”

“This is the second time that we put our trust with Ms. G! She is extremely attentive to details, patient with our furry babies' needs, communicative, and worked diligently to help us iron out some last minute details. Throughout the stay she sent pictures, updates and truly made us feel at ease. I would highly recommend and can see us seeking her out in the future.”

“My dog Rylee had a great two nights with Tracy. Loves having other dogs to play with. She also loves the home environment much better than a boarding facility. Tracy will be my first choice anytime I need boarding for my pup.”

“Jackie was awesome!! She and her family showed so much love and care to our dog, Frank. He had a great time with a few other furry friends! Jennifer communicated every day with me and sent pictures. I am great full to her and her husband for taking care of Ollie for me! I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter!”

“Peggy was excellent. She was very thorough prior to babysitting Sozo and was great about communication before and during his visit. She made her home a nice place for him to stay and i would recommend her! Sozo loved her four season room to look out the window!”

“Marko and his beautiful family were beyond amazing with my boxer, Lola. From the moment I met them, I could feel how warm, loving, and welcoming they were — including their two precious little girls. Lola was treated like a true part of their family. When it was time to pick her up, one of the girls was crying because she didn’t want Lola to leave — and honestly, that moment made me both emotional and incredibly happy. It told me everything I needed to know about how loved and cared for Lola was during her stay. Since bringing her home last night, Lola has been sleeping nonstop — a sure sign her last four days were filled with love, attention, play, and pure family time. That is exactly what I wanted for my precious girl. Thank you, Marko, for taking such wonderful care of my fur baby. We will absolutely be back. 🐾❤️ Monica with family”
