About: I’ve taken care of many types of dogs through various experiences. I am responsible and dependable. I have owned dogs my entire life and currently have a 3 year old energetic boxer mix. I trained my own pup from 7 weeks old and attended a 12 week training course with her. Positive tones and patience are key. She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I received numerous pics and videos that I thoroughly enjoyed. I met Terrell when I was leaving, and he seemed just as wonderful. I would give her 100 stars if I could.”

I train pet dogs on good behavior as well as rehabilitation for fearful or aggressive dogs. Safety is my #1 concern. Every dog that comes into my home is treated like family, as I do my own dogs. I am blessed with a large house that has a separate living quarters for the boarding dogs and a big beautiful fenced yard. Both are kept clean and hazard free. I have a daily routine that changes depending on what dogs I have. Each dog gets fed once or twice, a day depending on owner preference. For medical or dietary reasons feeding can me more or less frequent. Any medications needed will be given. Each dog gets back yard exercise daily. Of course they get plenty of love! 🐾 Saftey and cleanliness are my top concerns. My home is clean and hazard free. I am "puppy proof" and always vigilant. I have accommodations and experience working with aggressive or reactive dogs and can also accommodate/work with kennel anxitey. I am able to keep dogs separate from my personal dogs if needed. Dogs that are friendly will be able to socialize/play with my very well tempered pack, depending on owner preference. I have a fenced yard and there are no gaps or ways to get out. I can also accommodate jumpers using a long recall leash!

About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am working full-time at an elementary school in Minooka. However, school is out for the summer until August, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I’m available any day and time, except when I’m on vacation or away at school! I’m flexible and happy to stay overnight or adjust to whatever your pet needs! I do create a calm, safe space and follow all pet routines closely—whether at my home or yours. Pets are loved, watched, and always comfortable.

I also have a cat and occasionally help train k9 working dogs in my spare time. I used to live on a farm and am great with all farm animals.
