“Nathan, Jacqueline and their children, along with their "pup" Charlie, were the most welcoming hosts we could have hoped for! Our Levi and Junior are admittedly on the higher-maintainence side and their family took it all in stride. We met with them prior to committing to the hosting in order to make sure the dogs were compatible and to discuss Levi and Jr's needs. It was a very comfortable and easy meeting. We left the initial meeting feeling very comfortable. When the time came to leave our fur babies, Nathan reassured us our pups would be fine. While we were away, we received daily updates with pictures that showed our pups were doing fine and having fun ! The kids took them for walks, and Jr found a new friend in their pup Charlie. When we came to pick them up, they were healthy and happy. It was wonderful to be able to go on vacation knowing Levi and Jr were in good hands. We would definitely recommend Nathan and Jacqueline and their family to host the dogs of friends and family without reservation! If we need to leave our pups again, we would would not hesitate to leave them with Nathan and Jacqueline (if they would agree, if course)! THANK YOU, E. “As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”

Does your dog need special treatment or medicine administered? I've got you covered! I'm a third year student doctor currently on virtual rotations (studying/working from home) due to coronavirus and I'd love to treat your dog (or other pet) to some treats! I may be in school to treat humans, but I'm comfortable administering medications and I have experience doing so for everything from ferrets to dogs to pigs. I have owned guinea pigs, ferrets, cats, and dogs so I am comfortable caring for a wide range of pets. Does your pet require a lot of exercise? You're in luck. Mine does too! I take my puppy to the community dog park everyday for at least an hour. In addition my apartment is right across from Lake Michigan and a walking trail that my dog and I frequent in the evenings. About: I love to play and love on animals, and my daughter loves to research breeds and find what they like the most. And care for them that way. Your pet(s) will be well welcomed to our fun loving home. Welcome! I am working full time, dogs will have full access to backyard at their leisure. If they are unfamiliar with a dog door, I will train them. Litter box cleaned daily. And in the morning and evening some love and play time. I have a fenced in yard, dog door ( that locks) shelves and hiding spots for cats. I had made this an oasis for my cat and dog while they were still with us. Our free time is spent at the cat cafe, and the humane society. We will go walk the dogs there or play with the cats at both places. Any animal in need of love and attention, we are thrilled to provide it. Our dog passed of cancer 3 years ago and needed to be put down as it had spread and she was in terrible pain. It was a slow, and hard for to let go A year ago, our cat had this disease, and she became immobile immediately and was in chronic pain. It was such a quick loss. So I have been a little hesitant to bring another animal in full time. However, all animals are welcome and we look forward to building a safe spot for you and your pet while you are away.

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I am new to the Rover community, but have been caring for animals for neighbors and family for the past 10 years. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, as well as cats! I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to learn and adapt how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs, I will dedicate my time to loving them! I am currently working Monday-Thursday and am available for weekday evening walks or weekend drop-ins and house sittings. I am also flexible and can accept last-minute bookings. I'm currently working full-time, with 4 10-hour shifts. This leaves me plenty of time to play with your pups anytime Friday-Sunday and after 6pm Monday-Thursday! About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.
About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! Currently, I have 2 dogs, a Jack-Russell mix named Jake and a Beagle mix named Macy. They are extremely pet/people friendly and they love new company! Also, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a a few years, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and taking care of your pets special needs. I will provide whatever accommodations that are needed and I will make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable. Most of all, I will always keep an open line of communication with you. I know how it feels being away form your pet and I know the importance of regular updates and pics. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.
About: Owned animals my entire life, and overall want animals to be able to live the happy and comfortable life they deserve. I treat animals like family! I work/ have other commitments, but am fortunate to have a flexible schedule and work irregular hours so during the day often works for my schedule. I also have transportation for your convenience. I treat animals as friends and look to care for them with attention and affection. I prefer not to board often, but I reside on a farm with plenty of open land as well as a timber area for additional exercise and enrichment!
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish from the ripe age of 10! I have had animals from the size of teacup yorkies to the size of Rottweilers so size doesn’t challenge me. I currently work full time Sunday-Wednesday and find myself with a lot of free time the rest of the week so I’d love to get to play and help with your best friend as much as I’m able to get I am able to follow all the rules you provide with your best friend and am able to accommodate with any requests to keep you stress free!
About: I grew up always having/taking care of dogs. I also pet sit regularly now. I love animals and would love to have this as something to do outside of work! I also have two kitties named Blue and Harley, so have a lot of experience with cheeky cats, too. I currently work from home, so all I need is my hotspot and laptop. I can house sit for you basically for any length of time and any day/time. I have reliable transportation. I try to leave the home as good as or better than I found it.
