“Here’s a polished positive review you could use: Kristen was absolutely wonderful watching my two boy dogs while I was on vacation. She was friendly, reliable, and very communicative throughout the entire stay, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. She kept me updated regularly and was always quick to respond to messages. Most importantly, my boys absolutely loved her! It was clear they were well cared for, happy, and comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and I would gladly book with her again.”

“This was Roxy’s second stay with Karen! As before, she was very communicative before and during Roxy’s stay. And when my flights home were delayed by weather, we figured out options in case an extra night would have been needed. Highly recommend!”

“I just like to say Kimberly was outstanding. This was our first time leaving our boys with a sitter and this was for two days. Immediately after choosing her she was very responsive and helped to ease the worrying especially for my lady. We made it to Kimberly and dropped off our boys and it was very comforting. Kimberly communicated and provided a pics the two whole days our boys was with her. I highly recommend her if you’re in the Springfield, Illinois area. We definitely use her again when we have come to Springfield for business and have to bring our boys.”

About: I have at somepoint had 100+ pets with my ex that we took care of together. I have adopted "agressive" pets only for them just needing a loving home to feel comfortable. We also fostered a bunch of pets to help when APL was struggling for space. I do have a very busy schedule myself. However I make time to spend with our pets. We make homemade food for them and have a bunch of toys for them to play with. My partner is a stay at home spouse so no one gets into too much mischief. I view pets as family members and they have the comfort of laying on the couch and bed with us. We have a decently big yard with a fence for them to run about and have outside time.
“Shannon picked up and dropped off Buddy (as I cannot drive). She sent a few notes letting me know he was adjusting and eating well. She assured me he was "a Good Boy" while he was on vacation!”

“Kari is so wonderful with the animals she cares for. I could tell by the way my dog Ruger acted as soon as he entered her home. Usually when I pick him up, he let's me know that he's not pleased I was gone, but after a stay with Kari he is totally calm and happy. Thanks for taking such great care of my boy!”

About: I've had pets my whole life, from birds, reptiles, and fish to dogs, cats and rodents, so I know my way around various pets and how to take care of them, as such any special needs won't be too far out of my expertise. When it comes to dogs I've taken two puppies of mine to training classes and am willing to work with whatever training you have in place with your dog, whether that is working on correcting behaviors like jumping or continuing to teach them certain tricks while you're away, I will try my best to make sure they stay on the right track! Cats are the kind of pet I've had for the longest and know the best, even though none of mine so far have been major trouble makers I know how fickle some can be. I'm not afraid to do the occasional litterbox clean if needed or to keep an eye on them during their occasional zoomies. Currently my schedule is pretty flexible, I'm available any day from noon to midnight so if you need someone to check in on your pet overnight I'm available! I'm willing to work with any dietary needs and/or restrictions your pet has and as I've given medications to my pets before I would be able to give your pet any if they needed it during my visit. I'm big into teaching my dogs how to be respectful on a walk so I would be willing to continue any on walk training you may have!

I will respect your cat’s personal space and also give them attention when they are seeking it. I’d be happy to play with your cat and provide care based on their individual needs.

“Mary Ann provided us with excellent service during our recent absence from home. She reliably provided us with information on how our two Siamese cats were doing as well as daily photos of their activity. Regarding a couple of issues on which we had failed to provide complete details, she promptly got in touch with us for further instructions. We would highly recommend Mary Ann to other pet owners.”

Next time I am away, Heather is my pet sitter again.”

“My dog is older and can at times be grumpy adjusting to new situations. She was begging to get out of the car after day 1 and is obsessed with her doggy daycare. Can’t recommend enough!”

“I’ve taken Lexi over twice for day care with Pamela and we will definitely rebook. She takes her for a nice long walk in the morning and my doggo seems so happy and excited to be there, and tired when she comes home again, lol. Thank you Pamela for taking such good care of my Lexi!”

About: Hi! I am reliable, friendly and very flexible with my schedule. Dog sitting has been the thing I didn’t know I needed in my life! I wish I could have one of my own but it’s not the right time for me. I would love to care for your pet. I helped raise/train my childhood dog, have taken care of puppies, deaf animals, and gained the approval of a very protective and anxious Doberman with lots of patience and attention (my greatest accomplishment). Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with utmost care to keep you and your pet happy! I am a fine artist with a MFA in painting, and I take on interior design and other creative jobs as a freelancer. I will be traveling starting August 25th, but will be back late November. I love being outside, exercising, and hanging at parks, so I’m glad to be joined by a pup and will give them all the love. My routine already involves walks/runs outside and being home a lot, so it fits in great! When i’m not working, I am exercising, planning, making art and reading. I am very available to provide proper pet care and give pets the attention they need. My schedule changes by the days and weeks. In caring for the pet in their home, I make sure to know where everything is that I need and respect the home in making sure the pet doesn’t make a mess.
“Lindsay is absolutely amazing with my spunky, crazy husky! She watches her one day a week to give us a break and give her lots of love and play time. She also watched her for a long weekend. I am very picky on who watches my little girl and I have full confidence every time I drop her off!”

“We’ve been using Nate for a couple weeks and our dog Boomer LOVES his time there. He’s great about taking Boomer for walks and playing with him. Boomer has severe separation anxiety so it’s hard to find someone we really trust not to leave him alone. We’ve found that trust with Nate.”

“Karen cared for our dogs as if they were her own. Lucky and Loogootee enjoyed all the attention they received and running around in her fenced in yard. Our senior dogs wear diapers and Karen washed them for us to have for the rest of our trip. We would definitely book with Karen again!”

About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! Also, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a a few years, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and taking care of your pets special needs. I will provide whatever accommodations that are needed and I will make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable. Most of all, I will always keep an open line of communication with you. I know how it feels being away form your pet and I know the importance of regular updates and pics. I look forward to hearing from you and I can’t wait to met your pets! :) 🏡 House Sitting + Boarding 🏡 (Overnight) Evening - Morning; I do offer some flexibility, however there could be an additional fee if check in/out times are drastically different from what I have set. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.
“Since our Daisy was one years old; for the past 9 years; she has figured prominently in our travel decisions. We have always acknowledged that she is not friendly with other animals, She will at least acknowledge the authority of the strange adult keepers. As long as they prioritize her needs over the other animals. But, fortunately for us, her needs were to simply allow her to be kept away from the other animals. All that changed when she walked into the home of Kari H.! The first report we received; made us a little jealous. Despite the presence of the two four legged members of the family; our Daisy freely explored the home, went out side and warmly attached herself to the two legged sitters. If she didn’t get excited when we picked her up; I might have thought she was looking to find another forever home. Seriously, this is a home that clearly loves pets. Especially, your pet. They were an answer to prayer!”

“Bentley had another great stay with Sarah! She was able to accommodate a last minute request for daycare and it was much appreciated! It’s always good to know he is in good hands with Sarah 🐾❤️🐾”

About: Hi, I’m Erica — a highly experienced animal care professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets and farm animals of all kinds. I’m trained as a veterinary assistant, including assisting with surgeries, administering medications, and caring for senior, disabled, and post-operative animals. I’m also very comfortable with multi-pet households, rural properties, and farm animals. Having grown up on a farm myself, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for animals large and small, as well as maintaining a home and property with respect and reliability. I structure my schedule around the animals in my care so they receive consistent attention, enrichment, and calm companionship throughout the day. This allows me to be fully present for feedings, walks, playtime, medication needs, and individualized routines, while also offering flexibility for pets who need extra time, patience, or reassurance. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s what my days are built around. Safety, trust, and comfort are the foundation of every service I provide. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize calm, consistency, and close supervision. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so their care feels familiar and stress-free. In my home, pets are welcomed into a clean, secure, and peaceful environment with plenty of space to relax and play. Supervised outdoor time is provided in a safely contained area, and all interactions are thoughtfully managed to ensure each animal feels comfortable and respected. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the utmost care and follow instructions precisely to maintain the pet’s normal routine. With over 20 years of hands-on animal care experience, including veterinary assistant training, I am confident administering medications, supporting senior pets, and caring for animals with special needs. I love dogs and would love to have the opportunity to watch dogs and take care of others! I am open to watching dogs for a couple hours, a day, or even a couple of days if that is what is needed. My house has a small backyard and I am also available to do drop ins at the dogs own home. The area is very quiet and would be comfortable for another dog to be in. If I am caring for someone else's dog I plan on being home for the time I'm watching the dog so that it will be well taken care of. I’m currently only working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals. I am available early mornings or early afternoons to give your animal a break during the workday! I am also available any time on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I have a toy poodle and a golden retriever. I can also do drops in to walk or play with your dog as well!

“Was great experience for Remington, was great to be able to meet them before and have Remington check out the new place. He made couple new friends and enjoyed himself and was well cared for.”

“Pamela made Lucy feel right at home. I really appreciated the meet and greet, where she let Lucy explore her house before her “vacation” with Pamela. She also updated me often and sent me pictures of Lucy enjoying her time. I would definitely trust Pamela with Lucy again!”

“Excellent communication, caring, affectionate, loving, respectful, and sincere. I felt released that Holly sends several videos and pictures while I was out of town. Holly is a great job!! Awesome!!”

“Nate did a great job with Hank. Hank had a great time with Nate and enjoyed his walks. He was thrilled to have a playmate as well! Hank and Nash seemed to really enjoy playing together. It was really nice getting pictures of Nash and Hank playing. We will definitely use Nate again.”

“Elisse has been an incredible sitter for my pup, Rue! She kept me updated with photos and sweet little notes while I was away. This was her 2nd stay with Elisse, She was right at home.”

“Sarah is the best sitter we’ve had! She sent updates and pictures multiple times a day and treated our dog like her own. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our dog with her for 6 nights. Lucy can’t wait to go back!”

“Lindsay was great with Belle. She knew I was concerned because it was her first visit. She updated me with pictures and let me know how she was doing. I will definitely take Belle to Lindsay’s again.”

About: I have spent my entire life caring for animals. Throughout my life I have had many animals from birds and Guinea pigs to cats and dogs. Koda, my youngest dog was completely trained by me in German commands. Working with dogs to learn new things is one of my favorite things to do. My oldest dog, Motley is a senior and the past couple years I have become very educated and trained on administration of medication and post surgery care. With experience from my own pets, I have many reliable references I have gained over the years that can vouch for me on my loving, dedicated, and superior care with their fur babies. I am currently a nanny and have almost completely open availability. I work Monday through Thursday during the day but can still do visits anytime! And I’m off Friday through Sunday so anytime those days as well! When visiting your home I am happy to provide any services you may need for your pet. This includes special feeding instructions, medication distribution, daily walks, baths, guaranteed playtime, and more all while treating them as my own with so much love! I am also happy to do drop in visits while you are at work or walks to get your babies steps in.
