“Mary did such a great job taking care of my dog! She kept me updated and was reliable. She would send me picture/video updates daily and I could tell my dog loved being with her. I felt really comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Definitely recommend!”

“This was our second time leaving our puppy with Theresa. She sent several pictures and he had a wonderful time. He was excited to be back there and he is very well cared for with her. She gives him lots of attention!”

“Barbara took amazing care of my little guy and was great at communicating. I would definitely recommend her if you want your pet to have a nice time while you're away.”

“Sumer went above and beyond! She was there for me in a time of crisis and I will never forget that. She helped me out and was very flexible when it was really needed. Also, my dogs love her! I can't believe how fast my shy guy came out of his shell for her! Yay Sumer! Thank you so much!”

“It was our first time with Tanya and we felt like family. Her home is beautiful, warm and welcoming. She has a large fenced yard and her older children are the sweetest with the dogs. We were so lucky to find her on short notice!”

“Samantha was beyond amazing!! She was super sweet, and it felt as though Kai Puppy (my dog) instantly felt safe with her. Sam's house was clean and clutter free and seemed an excellent environment for our bigger puppy. Samantha herself was super friendly to my husband and me and listened to all our concerns and instructions regarding Kai without complaint (it was our first time leaving her, so we were nervous, but with Samantha, we honestly had no reason to be as she was great with Kai!). Samantha also sent updates on Kai's behavior along with picture periodically throughout her boarding which was terrific for my husband and I and kept us feeling very at ease having Kai away from us. Through her updates, we saw Kai playing and cuddling and having loads of fun during her stay. We highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for dog boarding, and we will most certainly book her again in the future for our Kai Puppy!!”
“Jennifer was great! It helped us relax on our trip knowing our dog was with someone who was treating her like their own dog. Our dog was able to play outside in the fenced yard, snuggle a bunch and treated like a part of their family. We will definitely use Jennifer for another future trip! Thanks so much!”

“Lauren did a great job with our dog, Mabel. Lauren was super communicative before and during the stay, sending lots of photos and updates the whole time. It was evident she really cares about the dogs that she works with. Would highly recommend!”
“Wonderful experience for both us and our dog. She was kind and welcoming making our girl feel right at home. She also was a wonderful communicator. Her picture updates and videos made me feel at ease while we were out of town. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Geraldene!! Her care and compassion for our Luna was top notch!! Highly recommend!”

“There are no words to express how thankful we are. Traci and her family made our family feel completely at ease while we were away for the very first time. This was our first experience leaving our baby with someone else, and trusting another family to care for him was a big step for us. Traci and her family treated our boy as if he were their own. She kept us updated, which we deeply appreciated, and you can see in the photos just how comfortable and safe he felt. That alone gave us so much peace of mind. For anyone considering care, we highly recommend Traci and her family. They are truly the best. And their dog, Wilfred — the cutest, kindest boy ever — made the experience even sweeter.”

“Staci is such a patient & attentive caregiver! The level of communication was exceptional and the comfort it brought knowing she has vast experience also eased any anxiety! Jett, did not want to leave! That speaks volumes! Thank you Staci & we look forward to booking again!”

“Our 15 month old Maltipoo had never spent a night apart from us and had limited interaction with other dogs. We had a need for an overnight stay and decided to try Rover which led us to Emily and Thomas as they lived close by. We are so very thankful that we found them! They spent three days in a week leading up to the stay having Charlie come over for walks and spent time inside their place trying to get him used to a new environment. They were so patient with him and so kind to him. They sent pictures and videos to help reassure us that he was doing well. They really went above and beyond in every way and we can recommend them highly enough! We can’t wait to have them sit with Charlie again later this summer and have him play with Monster! Thank you, Emily and Thomas!”

“Dana is AMAZING!!! Skylar has such a fun time at her house and she made new friends. Dana sent us pictures and updates of our Skylar everyday which I loved to see. I would definitely refer her to everybody around and also will contact her again if we happen to need someone to watch Skylar again. Five stars!!!”
“Jonna took AMAZING care of our Blaike. Her and her family were gentle, attentive, caring, loving, and kind to her. They helped ease her anxiety, made sure she was always comfortable and secure, and gave her so much love, rubs, and affection. They truly treated her like a member of the family. We will absolutely be utilizing her Boarding services for our next trip, and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter. Thank you so much Jonna!!😊❤️❤️❤️”

“Willow was well taken care of, and I really appreciated the updates while I was away. It was nice knowing she was in good hands, especially since she’s still a puppy. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely book with them again.”

“Cujo had a WONDERFUL time with Chris, Dan and their dog, Thor! (He even learned some German while there! :-) ) Chris sent us a few photos and video to make us feel relaxed that they were all having a great time. We highly recommend Chris and Dan, they offer a great loving, fun environment (and fenced yard!). Will call them 1st next time we ever need Rover services. SOOOOO much better than going to a kennel!”

“We were nervous about leaving Winston with a sitter as he generally has only been left with family in his own home previously. We need not have worried. Angelina was just the best. From a pre-board meet and greet at her home to meeting her other dogs we were at ease before he went there and when we dropped him off he was so happy and content. She introduced him slowly to her other dogs so he wasn't overwhelmed and he had the time of his life. Her house is beautifully set up to look after pets. The regular photos and videos not only put our mind at rest but showed him socializing and playing with others and just generally having a good time. I have no hesitation in recommending Angelina in looking after any of your precious pets.”

“I was nervous leaving Mack because he hasn't been watched by anyone other than family in our home. He had a rough start but Becca was trying to work with him and his anxiety. She provided constant updates to help me feel more at ease. She was very caring, very communicative, and I can tell she is passionate about animals and watching them in her home.”

“She was so kind and thoughtful. Starling loved her, and they spent quality time together. It was nice knowing that Starling wasn’t lonely while we were away. We really appreciate her being so caring and kind to Starling! 🌸”

“Jennifer saved me helping with my puppy Knox for 6 days straight! She loved him like her own. And is also the best at taking pet photos! I will recommend her to everyone I can. She is so amazing and I am so lucky to have found her through this service.”

“Amanda took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. She communicated clearly every day and consistently sent thoughtful updates and pictures that gave us total peace of mind throughout our vacation. Our cats were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we returned, and the cats area left meticulous. Amanda is reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, and we would gladly trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.”

“Reggi was great with my cat, Noodle! We appreciated the ease of communication with Reggi through texts and the Rover app. She checked in every day, sent photos, and Noodle was as happy as a kitty can be when we finally arrived home after our long holiday away. She kept us updated on Noodle's appetite and other habits and did everything we asked of her. We'd love to have her back to take care of our kitty the next time we have to go out of town.”

“Autumn has always done such a great job caring for our cats while we are on vacation. We love the photos and feedback she provides. We cannot thank her enough and couldn’t ask for more!”

“Taylor cared for our two cats as if they were her own. While we were away, we had complete peace of mind knowing they were in the hands of such a professional, attentive, and caring person. She sent us lovely daily photos, and our cats always looked curious, relaxed, and happy. We are truly grateful for her care—and we’re certain Oreo and Paco miss her already! We highly recommend her without hesitation.”

About: I am a veterinary doctor with experience in cat care. I know how to respect their limits while making sure they are eating, using the litter box correctly and staying stress-free. My medical experience allows me to easily identify signs of feline distress or urinary problems.

“We had a wonderful experience with our pet sitter Vanessa. She stayed overnight with our dog and took such great care of her. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos throughout the stay-it gave us peace of mind knowing our Maddie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for . Vanessa was reliable , attentive, and treated our dog like her own. We definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Laurel took such good care of our Chloe! She arrived on time and we loved the pics she sent each time she was here. This was our first time using Rover and we will definitely use it again!”

“Ezra did an excellent job with Bug, including using the pill popper to give her meds. I really enjoyed how professional and communicative Ezra was. They sent me photos and updates of Bug from each visit and even shared with me tips around what they found worked best for medicating her. Would definitely re-book and recommend!”

“Julia is fantastic! Julia cared for my 2 cats while I was out of town for the holidays, and she was so patient, prompt, and responsive. Julia followed all of my care instructions and sent plenty of pictures to keep me updated. I will definitely use Julia again!”

“Dawnlea is awesome with our dog and three cats. We have her do weekly drop-ins Monday through Friday. She has a calm and loving manner with our pets. She plays with and feeds them. The pictures she sends of our pets are very comforting to see them so well cared for.”

“Kristen dropped in twice a day to feed our cat while we were out of town. She checked in with me each time she went by and even sent pictures of Jude looking fat and happy. Knowing someone was there checking on things made being away from home much less stressful. When we got home everything in the house was just as we left it and Jude was so much more chill than she usually is when we get home. Kristen was very nice and easy to make arrangements with. I would definitely recommend her and will book her again if needed.”
“This was my very first experience using a pet-sitting service. I chose Estefanny because of her very high ratings and she did not disappoint. My ancient kitty Larry doesn't do well staying by himself anymore. Estefanny not only assured that he had regular meals, water, and meds, but she also stayed with him at night so he wasn't lonely. Larry clearly loved her. She sent an update and photos every day, many of which showed him on her lap or in the spare bed, so he was obviously comfortable sleeping with her. To be honest, I expected her to be great with Larry. What I didn't expect was, after 5 nights sleeping at my house, I couldn't even tell she had been there. The place was exactly as I had left it - I swear she packed out her own garbage! Estefanny clearly cares for pets and is pleasant, reliable, and responsive. The highest recommendation I can give her is that I'm headed out of town again next month and I've already booked Estefanny to take care of Larry. The whole experience was just terrific!”
About: I have grown up on a farm where I have acquired most of my skills and knowledge of animals. At a very young age I started training and showing dogs in obedience, which soon led into me showing horses in jumping and dressage. I attended Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre in West Virginia where I achieved many certifications. Now, 32, I still train and show dogs and also still stuck on those horses! Animals have become my backbone and without them, I think I would be lost, like many of us would be! Besides working my job and being a nursing student, I am always doing something with my dogs or horses. Be it training, having fun, or just going about our daily routine. Fitting in the time to care for others pets while they are away is easy for me as I have help on the farm to care for my pets! I will take care of the feeding, watering, cleaning up, play time, walks, etc. I am here to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. I can care for dogs, cats, birds, farm animals, exotics, etc. I'm that been there type of guy, but my knowledge, skills, and years of experience are here to help keep your pet safe! I am certified in CPR, Horse Health, Training (dog and horse), Teaching, Riding Master Level IV, and Safety.

“Jennifer is the best! I was nervous at first because I’m very selective about who I trust with my baby, but she immediately reassured me and took the time to explain her process. She is not only flexible, but incredibly understanding, and the way she truly cares about your dog is one of a kind. Jennifer is excellent with communication she provided consistent updates and photos throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend her!”

“I scheduled a meet and greet with Chris and Dan and they were so wonderful and patient with my 14 year old Weimaraner Ozzie. They are knowledgable with dog behavior and their 2 German Sheppards are very well behaved. After meeting Chris and Dan I felt comfortable booking a 4 day stay. Recently Ozzie spent a few hours at Chris and Dan's home so he could become a little more familiar with them and their dogs before his 4 day stay. They made sure Ozzie was comfortable and I am confident that Ozzie will be in great hands whenever he spends time with them.”
“Theresa was very nice and very accommodating. She sent pictures of our Goshi and I am sure Goshi had a great time as he was all pooped out when we got home. Thank you Theresa for taking care of Goshi!”

My dogs have their own room to offer a safe space for them. The dogs are never left unattended to ensure they don't get into something they are not suppose to. About: We currently foster a variety of different dogs through out the year. We are used to quirky behaviors, shy pups, and just getting dogs to become comfortable with us and our home. We are very adjustable to different dog personalities and requirements, and will be flexible with your needs, and how the dog reacts to us in our home or yours. We have owned many pets in our lifetime, including dogs (as well as fostering). We are well versed in activity, playtime, and training. We love to play fun activities with our dogs such as obstacles, finding treats, water playtime and more! *We will never have a foster dog at the same time we are dog sitting in our home. I work part time from home, and my husband works from home as well. A dog staying in our care will have many walks through out the day, and will be able to go outside every few hours. We have very flexible schedules and outside of a random weekday activity, your pet will be our primary responsibility. In our home, we will tailor set up and activity based on the pet's needs. We are open to using crates, beds, free roaming based on what the pet is used to and comfortable with. We have kids in the home who are very used to working with new animals, especially animals who have come for traumatic environments so they know what to do around new animals-- slow introductions if needed, calm environment, playing in separate rooms etc. We will work with the personality of your dog!

“I’ve used Rover in the past and after an initial meeting, have had great luck with dog walkers. Michelle is even a step above those walkers. Her kindness and patience in allowing my timid dog to get used to her slowly, over a few visits, was such a relief. Michelle’s a rockstar! 😊”
About: I have owned a business for 8 years caring for pets, recently recognized by the Better Business Bureau within the last two years. I have worked with a variety of pets, some super sweet and some reactive, while ensuring both the safely of the pet and myself. I have worked with individuals with different expectations that I do my best to adapt and work with. I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy every minute of my mobile pet care journey. Feel free to message me, and I will let you know if I am available during that time. Pet sitting and walking is my full time job, so unless there is an event or I'm out of town myself, I will most likely be able to meet with you and your pet. Dogs are supervised at all times while outside, even within a fenced yard. If there is no fenced yard, they will be taken outside on a leash. Each visit is an individual visit with your pet alone so there will be no other interaction with pets unless you have others of your own.

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, cats and dogs. I have experience with all age ranges of pets. I enjoy taking care of mine and my family members pets! I often watch my parents 2 year old energetic boxer mix, as well as 3 cats, one who has heart failure. I also love spending time with my sisters 5 year old mini doxie. I’m comfortable cleaning up messes, cleaning litter boxes and providing basic medical needs. I look forward to meeting the furry important members of your family and providing the best care I can! I have an open availability for Monday-Friday from 6am-3pm. I’m available for longer walks if needed or short in and out trips. I take my parents dog Willie on walks around local parks, he’s a very energetic dog and likes to pull. So I take it one step at a time with him and give him ample time to soak in all the enrichment of the environment around us.
“My Jax is a very high energy puppy. I had been sick, and it was freezing out so I had Jennifer take him for a walk so I didn't have to. She was a trooper dealing with his special needs as well as the cold. Jax appeared to love her as well. Thank you.”

About: I have had dogs since I was born. My family has always had a dog. For 18 years, I had my own dogs. I’ve also watched friends and family member’s dogs. I will go to their houses and let their dogs out for them, walk them, etc. I work part time at a local elementary school as a TA. I only work 5.5 hrs a day, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I have a fenced in yard and a 10 year old that would love to play with your dog if I’m not! I can put them in a crate if need be. I’d love to take them for a ride too! If I go to your house, I will respect your property and your dog’s things.
“Always very happy with the care our dogs get from Autumn. This time the weather was less than ideal for coming out and servicing a dog. Autumn still provided the care our dog needed. Our dog is large and can be rambunctious, but not a problem for Autumn to handle. Thanks again! 😊”

“Estefanny knows her stuff around dogs! She handles my Dog Coco very well and she follows through all the instructions as discussed. She has been good with communicating her time and her schedule. I found her at the very last minute a night before I needed a walker, and she agreed to take on the responsibility. I would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter for you!”

“It’s clear that Reggi has a genuine love for dogs, her passion shines through in every interaction. My pup , Miles is a spry 14 year old terrier mix - she handled him with care and ensured a safe (meaning he didn’t eat anything off the ground!) walking experience. Miles always returned satisfyingly tired from his adventures with Reggi. She’s a 10/10 - would highly recommend.”

I am a current dog and cat mom. I aspire to be a dog trainer and have my own business one day. I have successfully trained my own dog in a variety of different skills and I am eager to gain even more knowledge to work towards my career. I have 3+ years experience working in a dog daycare/boarding facility. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and all temperaments. I also have experience working with dogs with special needs. I just moved to the area and I am currently looking for a full-time position in the animal care field. I also believe it could help me gain experience towards my career goals. My schedule is very open at the moment. I take my dog on walks every evening and have training sessions for an hour every day. About: I like to let dogs live out their natural adventurous instincts. I have no issue stopping to sniff ALL the flowers, dance in the grass and mark every. single. territory. No matter the type of pet you have - I don’t discriminate. Also, not embarrassed to be caught singing or whistling while we work. I can guarantee I will NOT be on my cell phone while walking your pup. I love searching for new, fun & safe routes to explore. Animals should be treated with the same patience, love & kindness we give to human beings. On that note, I am vegan “aka” a lover of all beings, even bugs- scared of some but working on myself .. fingers crossed. I have 6 cats currently. Love’m all. My husband and I refer to them as “our children.” The dream is to rescue pitbulls from kill shelters … Also, fingers crossed :)

“Mary did such a great job taking care of my dog! She kept me updated and was reliable. She would send me picture/video updates daily and I could tell my dog loved being with her. I felt really comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Definitely recommend!”

“Lauren did a great job with our dog, Mabel. Lauren was super communicative before and during the stay, sending lots of photos and updates the whole time. It was evident she really cares about the dogs that she works with. Would highly recommend!”
“Staci is such a patient & attentive caregiver! The level of communication was exceptional and the comfort it brought knowing she has vast experience also eased any anxiety! Jett, did not want to leave! That speaks volumes! Thank you Staci & we look forward to booking again!”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was young. I've always had a dog growing up! After moving to Sycamore in 1998, I moved into a farm. We had almost every farm animal, as well as cats. I've had all of my dogs from puppies until the end. Come summer, I am free all the time! I work at the school district! Just weekends are softball. My oldest is on a traveling team! I will follow what is needed to be done with your pet! Treat your pet like my own fur baby. Always lots of love and treats (if that’s okay with the treats lol)
“The best sitter experience ever. Really allowed our family to enjoy our weekend away knowing Tracey had our girl. She treated her so well and we couldn’t have been more grateful for her. Such good communication also! Will definitely book again!”

About: “I have years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. From puppies full of energy to senior dogs needing gentle attention, I provide safe, reliable, and loving care. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Pet parents can count on me to be responsible, punctual, and attentive to their dog’s unique needs. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to dedicate to caring for pets. Your furry friend will always be my first priority. I love spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel happy and loved. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or sitting during the day. I’ll always do my best to work around your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and happiness always come first with me. I care for pets in their own home so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in, or house sitting, I’ll follow your pet’s routine and give them all the love and attention they deserve. You can count on me to treat your fur baby like family every time.
About: I take great pride in caring for dogs to the best of my ability. I want to be the kind of pet caretaker that I would hire for my own dogs. Someone who supervises the dogs under their care at all times while outdoors, who can read canine body language to know what a dog is enjoying and when they might be uncomfortable, who gives dogs structured sniff and explore time in the great outdoors, and who can provide regular updates. My clients feel that I do an excellent job living up to that expectation. Due to my years of experience both as a dog trainer and a behavior consultant, I am the ideal pet sitter for young puppies who need extra care, guidance, and supervision. In our meet and greet for puppies we will discuss your desired household rules and goals so that I can maintain those rules and skills during their stay with me. Puppies also have the opprotunity to learn important social and play skills from my appropriate, mature dogs. In addition to puppies, I also take great care with my "reactive" friends. Especially when it comes to walking and adventure time. I have the skills and knowledge to support reactive dogs getting their walks in without rehearsing reactive behavior. This can ensure that your dog still gets to adventure without trending backwards in your behavior goals. I know how important daily exercise and sniffing time is for the wellbeing of all dogs, but especially for puppies and our reactive dogs. I love spending time with dogs and getting to know all the wonderful things that they find joy in and those fun personality traits that make them unique! My life revolves around helping dogs live happier, fuller lives. When dogs stay with me we begin our dogs with a stroll through the trails of our wooded property before settling down with a chew or frozen project. Depending on the dog there may be some short, fun, training sessions, play time with my dogs, or play time with me before their afternoon naptime. In the evenings we set out on another walk or adventure to a nature preserve. I have a fully fenced back yard space where dogs are able to potty and play off-leash. Additionally we have trails throughout our property where dogs get to enjoy lovely walks on a long-line. Dogs are crated overnight. I have the ability to either crate them next to my own dogs for company, or to set them up in their own "private suite" where they don't need to worry about other dogs being close to them while they rest. I do require all clients to leave me with their current veterinarian's contact information and emergency contact details should something unexpected happen. I want you to feel confident that your pet's health and safety is taken seriously during their vacation with me.
