About: I previously worked at a veterinary clinic for 3 years with dogs and cats! I have experience from puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats and giving some medications. Growing up I’ve dog sat for neighbors and friends. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks around the neighborhood! I am currently working part time. However, I am available for in home boarding any day of the week. I’m available for dog walking on weekends or week day evenings. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out! I've had pets of my own my entire life and have cared for pets of friends, family, and neighbors for years! I love being around animals and have 3 babies of my own. I have an anxious, aggressive, and arthritic Chihuahua of my own, so I have experience with more "neurotic" pets as well as experience with medication. One of my cats is 13 years old, so I also have experience with senior care (as well as cat medication, too!). I also have experience with guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, and reptiles! I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! If I am house sitting, I can typically spend overnight and the majority of the day there! *Note: I am currently on hiatus from house sitting services! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!
