“Miriam & Terrell were the absolute best! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. First time leaving my pup for more than just a few days & they gave me daily updates & lots of pics! 1000/10 thank you so much!”

“Susan was awesome! My husband is extremely particular about the dog. I’m actually shocked he agreed to leave him with a stranger. It could not have gone any better! Susan took Jack for lots of walks and she and her husband even took him on the boat! We got lots of pictures and updates on how he was doing. We definitely hope she’s available to watch Jack next time we travel!”

“Leslie was amazing!!! It was obvious right away that my dogs loved her. She was so good with Molly and Bear, whether it was playtime or snuggle time. And she was absolutely wonderful about keeping us updated regularly! It’s hard to leave my pups, but her updates and pictures made it a lot easier. Leslie really cares for your pups. She is truly wonderful.”

“Michele was great! Our 5yr old dog was only babysat one time ever prior to this. So he's a bit nervous with strangers. We were out of state on vacation for 2wks and we were worried how he'd do. Well Michele sent pics and msgs everyday we asked which was great! Michele did an exceptional job! We are super pleased with Michele and would use her again for sure.”

“If you are looking for someone to love, adore, and cherish your pet Beatrice is your sitter. She took my 8 week puppy in like he was her own. She updated me throughout my time away and Bronx came home missing her just as much as he missed me. I highly, highly recommend her. ”

“Fanny was amazing! She took care of my Teddy for over a week and provided updates every day. Even comforted him throughout a thunderstorm! I would definitely recommend Fanny and Teddy can’t wait to see her again!”

“Keith was great, our dog was well cared for and happy while he was there. He gave us updates and sent pictures as well. He is easy to work with and very responsive. We’ll be back!”

“Kasey was an exceptional dog sitter! She took great care of our goldendoodle, ensuring she was happy and well-exercised. Her dogs were sweet and friendly to my dog too. Kasey communicated regularly, sending updates and photos that put our minds at ease. Her genuine love for dogs was evident, and we returned home to a relaxed and content dog. Highly recommend her services!”

“We had such an amazing experience booking our dog sitting with Ashley. She was very kind and sweet with our dog, and was very easy to keep in contact with - she responded very quickly with updates on how our dog was doing, and sent plenty of pictures. We will definitely book with her again in the future, and highly recommend her!”

“We can't say enough good things about Jackie and her family! Frank and Homer were in the best hands while we were out of town. She sent daily updates and photos, and both dogs were happy and tired when we got home. We highly recommend Jackie to anyone in need of someone reliable and loving to care for their dog!”

“Balbina took great care of our dog for the weekend! She has a very warm and caring presence and made our dog feel at home right away during a meet and greet. Throughout the weekend we received updates and pictures about what they were up to. When we picked our dog up, Balbina had a full report typed up about their days together and what she observed. We will definitely be booking again and feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter!”

“Patricia took amazing care of my fur babies. There were a lot of storms while we were gone and my dogs are very anxious I’m so grateful they were in such amazing care.”

About: I have had pet dogs and cats my whole life, and they have always been a cherished part of my family. I currently live in a non-pet-friendly apartment building, so Rover gives me the opportunity to care for pets while I can’t have one of my own. I work at a warehouse on second shift, so I am gone in the evenings and head back home around 1am. When housesitting, I’m able to provide care to your pets during the day until I leave for work at 3:30 pm i will do my best to adhere to your normal routine with your pets, and ensure that they are exercised, fed, and pottied before I leave for work. It is my goal to adhere to your pets’ normal routine as much as possible. When I am watching someone’s pets for the first time, I request details about their schedule, eating and play habits, special quirks, etc so that I am prepared to give them consistent and attentive care.

“Cynthia did a great job for a very reasonable price. Our cat is quite elderly, but he was healthy and in good spirits when we returned. The house was kept in perfect order and very clean. We also appreciated receiving daily photos. Even though he missed us, it’s clear he was well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

“Alexandra was amazing with our dog. She gave so many updates, was responsive to all of my messages, and made me feel so comfortable leaving Max at home where he prefers to be. We will definitely rebook Alexandra the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Amber is an amazing pet sitter. Not that you should do this but we booked her last minute and she was very accommodating and flexible. She worked with my other pet sitter and helped with a big task- catching and caring for our chickens bumblefoot. We even had an unfortunate event happen while we were gone and Amber cared for it. We could not be more grateful and couldn’t recommend Amber enough!!!”

About: With a wealth of experience in various animal-related fields, my love for animals began at a young age when I volunteered for a local animal rescue for seven years. Once I entered the workforce, I spent several years as a Kennel Technician at Kendall County Animal Control. I then accepted a position at Springbrook Animal Care Center, where I cherished many years until the pandemic hit. I now work aa a Quality Assurance Coordinator for the elderly. Additionally I am an active volunteer and foster for a local rescue. I have been a pet sitter for many years, but I have been a professional pet sitter for over 3 years now. I am currently furthering my animal education by taking online courses on pet sitting and pet care. My focuses are primarily on reptiles, cats, dogs, fish, small critters, and exotics. Beyond my professional life I like to spend my time planning my next disney trip and tending to my garden. Moreover, my garden serves as a personal sanctuary, where I cultivate a variety of plants that attract local wildlife, from butterflies to birds. This connection with nature complements my love for animals, reminding me of the intricate web of life that we all share. Looking to the future, I hope to expand my skills and continue making a positive impact in the world of animal care, always driven by the simple yet profound joy that animals bring into our lives. My favorite animal is the Capybara

About: Growing up around my grandma’s kittens and cats gave me an early understanding of feline behavior, comfort, and boundaries. As an adult, I’ve had more hands-on experience caring for cats, which has deepened my appreciation for their unique balance of friendliness and independence. What sets me apart is my patience and respect for letting cats set the pace, along with my experience administering medications mixed into meals when needed. I focus on creating a calm, stress-free environment so cats feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in my presence.
About: I have worked with animals at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where we house dogs, cats, and even birds, bunnies, or hamsters. I worked there for two years, and I have grown up with & been around both dogs and cats my whole life. I am currently a full time college student but I have a lot of time after classes in the afternoon and evening, as well as free time on the weekends, to accommodate. I can provide treats, toys, and love to a client’s fur baby. I’m able to take dogs on walks and potty breaks, feed and administer medicine to both dogs and cats, crate a dog if needed, or snuggle up with a client’s fur baby.
“Thanks so much for watching Riggins!!! Your communication was amazing - and we could really feel that he was in good hands!! Ps our neighbor said you were amazing and did such a wonderful job watching him!! Thanks so much!”
About: Glad to meet you! I took a bit of a break from Rover after buying a home and raising two boys, but I'm back to help with your furry friends. I've been a dog owner since I was five years old and have always been quick to make friends with new animals. I'm easy-going and get a lot of energy from being around animals. Hopefully, I get a chance to meet yours! Whether it is cold morning walks or just company, I'm happy to take care of anything your pet needs. Thank you for taking the time to consider me! I respond quickly and am ready to start now. Thank you for your time and consideration. Take care! My sons are very active with two family pets of varying sizes. We work on creating bonds between them, particularly with one being a service dog. We are frequently helping with feeding, housing, and other care. I always strive to adhere to guidelines set forth by the owner, treating each animal with care based on their personality and temperament. If they are more social, I'm happy to give them some fun company. If they are more cautious or shy, I can work within boundaries to give your pet what they need.
About: I have always had a dog or two for pets during my life. I would not know how to be without one. I have just recently become a lover of cats, too. My son has 4 and I find myself wanting to visit them often. I look forward to coming home after work and seeing the joy in my dogs eyes that I bring them. I would love to bring that same joy to your pet. I would be available to visit your pet from 3pm to 10pm during the weekdays and I am open on the weekends. I would love them and care for them like they were my own. I am patient. I would love the opportunity to meet your pet! P.S. I do not have a Facebook account. I would rather spend my time with people, friends, family, my pets and animals. Please contact me through email. I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon! I work at the school as a librarian. I am available after 3 on weekdays, and all day on weekends. I am very flexible and reliable. I have a huge yard. I have a sweet little Morkie who would keep your dog company. I would provide security and love to your dog.

Perfect for high energy dogs - Millbrook
“I absolutely love leaving my dog with Beyonka! My pup is always extremely happy when he goes to her place, and that gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s being well cared for. Every time I pick him up he smells delicious and looks so well-loved. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does. I 100% recommend her—she’s amazing!”

“Miriam was wonderful, absolutely wonderful with Katie, our terrier rescue. She let her sit on her lap while she worked. She had a raincoat, then a winter coat, on her when the weather got colder for her trips outdoors. She furnished these coats, I didn't bring any. A 3-page report card was given to me when I picked Katie up. It detailed her potty breaks and told cute little stories about their day together. I received numerous pics and videos that I thoroughly enjoyed. I met Terrell when I was leaving, and he seemed just as wonderful. I would give her 100 stars if I could.”

About: Hello! Kim and family here. We have over 30 years of animal care experience. From cats and dogs to lizards and horses. We feel comfortable with a variety of animals. With a background in law enforcement adjacent positions and a TS clearance. Clean background. Bachelors level education in behavioral science and criminal justice and security administration, as well as CPR certifications for humans and animals, and a vet assisting certification/experience! We can administer insulin and give oral medications. We also LOVE elderly animals. We are licensed bonded and insured. And have decades of the world under our feet. Animals are like people to us. We actually prefer them, and function with them better. Living on a five acre hobby farm for over a decade. They are literally our family now that the kids have aged into adults. It’s me and my husband Mike here. My family helps me operate a small pet care business out of Big Rock IL. House Sitting: We treat your home with respect and follow all of your rules. Water plants. Get mail. And stick to pet schedules. Please advise we do this full time. Each sitting is different as each animal and owner ask for different things. If full time care is needed it will be an extended stay rate of 125 for 8am through 8pm hours and 75 for the night. If we can’t come and go. We can’t make money. This is all I do for income and no one can survive off of only 75 or less for the day. Otherwise most sittings look like me making that my center of gravity through any schedule I have for the day. Usually no longer than four to six hours away from the home while out with drops in accrued in a single day. For Boarding: PLEASE READ: This is a home setting; we do not consistently tour our home. I believe the photos on here and reviews do us justice. We send pet parents updates with the surrounding view almost daily to every other day. Having people walk through the house consistently was just too much for out family and the farm animals here. So we do not do this anymore. In the future we may build a kennel/outbuildings addition, and will offer tours of that should the time ever come that we decide to do that. But again, WE DO NOT PROVIDE TOURS OF OUR PERSONAL HOME. There are also other considerations to consider that most residential people do not account for. 1. Liability coverage: my liability coverage covers your animals. Not you. 2. Animal anxiety: it’s a chain. The system I have for doing things allows for animals to be as calm and anxiety free as possible. If you’re on the property. The regulars don’t know you and anxiety fills the entire area. 3. Biosecurity: Don’t take this the wrong way. I don’t know where your shoes have been. 4. Private farm setting: exactly as it states. The lay out past my private acres long drive does not even allow access to my front door without going through two secured gates. It’s not easy access. 5. Safety: I live in the middle of nowhere, and do not need anyone to know the exact lay out of my home. You’re signing up for pet service. I am providing this service. Not giving people access to my home. Thank you for understanding. Please note this is a country setting. Someone is always here if I (Kim) am not. Sometimes photos have issues sending. But they always eventually go through. Service can be patchy because it’s the country. Text updates are reliably daily. I pride myself on building close relationships with my clients. I treat the animals I care for with top priority as my family does this full time and this is our entire income. Our reviews and the animals we care for speak for themselves. If you’re looking for someone to love and care for your animals with truth, trust, and transparency. That also has a family of well versed animal humans at her disposal as back up care approved through Rover. You are in the right place. Look forward to hearing from you. -Kimberly, Mike, and Family. Please note that prices will more than likely rise, since Rover has gone from taking 20 percent of each booking to now 30 percent from sitters. Prices must rise to enable us to continue providing service while combating this rise in inflation, not only on the platform, but in the world. Liability contract needed to continue service with the understanding that dogs bark, bite, scratch, and get into physical environmental factors. In a farm setting please make sure all of your animals are on needed monthly flea and tick preventative as well as heart guard. I have plenty of time for your pups and their specific needs/routines. We cater to every animal as if they were our own, and understand each one is special and different. We have a double fenced yard, with lots of open space indoors and out. Extra crates and or farm house furniture for your pets needs.
About: Animals in general should be loved and protected! I embrace all species and rescue anything in need. I do love animals more than people ;) I have plenty of time for animals in my life. I work 3 hours a day at my kiddos school otherwise I m home with my little guy and chickens. My yard is fenced but I do like taking walks and playing in the yard. I do some dog walking in the neighborhood but am accepting more!
“Yesenia was so great. I was in from out of town and I had a gap between when we needed to be out of the Airbnb and when the class I came for ended. I needed some place to take my dog for a few hours. She was conveniently near where I needed to be. She attentively asked about my dog’s needs (she’s dog-reactive and has anxiety) and provided a safe space for her to be. My dog felt so relaxed that she fell asleep while cuddling with her. Would highly recommend Yesenia’s services!”

About: Love to have a furry companion on my walks and give them some time outside, I’ve had dogs my whole life big and small and always enjoy walking them. Me and my husband are working part time, and we love dogs, so we have plenty of free days to spend and take nice walks with your pup! Our house has a fenced in yard and we also have a few gates so the dogs can’t get to any places they shouldn’t be.
“Max had a wonderful time spending the day with Roger and his two dogs. Roger provided many pictures and a great summary of Max's time spent there. Highly recommend.”

I will be sure to treat your pets like they’re mine, with the love and care that they deserve. I work full time from home and can take breaks to let your dog out to go potty, take them on walks and give them the love and care they deserve. I can also feed them on a daily schedule as advised. My family and I will also provide playtime and snuggles. I am also available to do drop in visits and dog walks after 3PM during the week and anytime during the weekend. I can take your dog out on leash as we currently don’t have a fenced in backyard. Your pet can stay by me in my office/basement, play with my kids when they’re home or easily be crated. I will make sure all the kids toys are put away and out of reach of the pets. Please be sure to have your pets updated on vaccinations.

About: HI! :) I'm Alexandra and I'm ready to take care of your furry baby! Growing up we always had pets. Neighbors called our house a zoo. We had many different kinds of birds, we had turtles, hermit crabs, lizards, fish, and dogs. I've always loved taking care of animals. As an adult I became the owner of my first kitten shadow! He was so amazing I even taught him how to fetch. I love both cats and dogs and animals in general. I love meeting new pets and showing them love, and I would love to spend time with yours!! :) I'm working from home and it's not too busy, so I have time to be home with your fur baby!! I also have a daughter who loves cats and dogs :) I have an apartment which has a little yard for pets. I can take them on walks as well. I am happy to board overnight.

About: I am a huge dog and cat lover. I have had my own and fostered many. I work from home so your dog and I can hang out while you are at work and keep each other company. I am pretty flexible so whatever works best for you. You can drop off when you like! Pick up when you can. I have had a dog with anxiety so if you are looking for a place so you know he/she doesn't need to be locked up- I am your spot! Must be friendly with children but let me know if your pet needs to be the only dog. Some just want all the attention? Your dog will be loved and never yelled at or hurt! Lynne
About: We have collective pet parent experience of over 40 years and have loved and cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs and even beared dragons. Personally, I previously worked at PetCo in addition to volunteering with PAWS Chicago. In both roles I received extensive training in caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. Currently, I work from home full time with a ton of flexibility and plenty of time to devote to additional fur babies. I work from home full time Monday thru Friday and have complete flexibility. Meaning I have time and energy for plenty of walks, playing in the park, or even just lounging in the yard. I own my home and have plenty of space to care for animals. As the mother to a toddler, our home has already been child proofed (cabinets locked, large furniture anchored, Simplisafe home security, etc.) Importantly, our yard is fenced in completely with vinyl fencing that is only a couple years old (but tried and true).
About: I’ve been watching pets since I was young. I went to school to be a vet assistant so I know how to care for your pets more than most. I work at a doggie day care so I’m able to take your dogs to work with me to get some extra play time and exercise if that’s something your interested in. There is always someone home so there is no need to worry about your pets being home alone for long periods of time. This also means that your dog will be taken out multiple times throughout the day. I have the best interest of your dogs in mind and will do whatever it takes to make sure their time with me is as enjoyable as possible.
“Janet was great! She was very flexible and welcoming. She also provided updates and lots of pictures. We would definitely use her again! Rocky enjoyed his time with her and her family :)”

“Brian was excellent with our skittish 10-month old puppy and helped our puppy get acclimated to other dogs in his care. We would definitely choose to trust Brian with our dog in the future.”

“Renee is a great walker, she is always on time and never missed a day. Shiloh was a very happy dog when she was around. She took care of him like her own and is very personable and has a great personality. I have never had a walker like her. She is truly incredible.”
About: I am currently a cat mom of 3. Chloe, Colby, and Clarabelle. I have had 20+ years experience with cats, dogs, and other small animals. I have grown up with animals my whole life including cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small animals. I'm currently a teacher working remotely and during my breaks before and after classes I would love to care for your pets. I'm available to do check ins and walks. I would also consider doing an overnight depending on my availability. I will provide updates and photos when requested by the owner and will provide quality care to your pet while you are away. Please consider contacting me if you are in need of someone to look after your pet. I would love to meet your furry family members.
“Carol is truly the best. She takes wonderful care of my mom’s dog, but what sets her apart is the kindness and patience she shows my elderly mother. Knowing she’s there gives our whole family such peace of mind. We’re grateful to have her.”

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, we mainly had cats and dogs, but in recent years we have expanded to fish, birds, and frogs! At the moment, my family has 2 cats, 2 parakeets, and about a million fish. I started pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors as a kid, and now I try to pet sit whenever I am home from college. I am also the primary care taker of my little home zoo. I’m currently home for the summer, and I have really flexible hours! I have several vacations planned for the summer, so I do not currently have a job lined up, which means more time to play with your pets! I am currently not able to care for your pets in my home as my cats are not very accepting of new animals. At your home, I will work with you to learn what is best for your pets! If you have a fenced in yard, that’s great! If not, no worries.

About: I have worked in kennel for 2 years. Currently, I work at a vet clinic. I have experience with dogs and cats. I can do drop ins, dog walking, spending overnights with the pets at owners home. I work full time and I am up bright an early. I can let you dogs out before and after work on weekdays. On weekend I can do drop ins, daycare and boarding at the owners house. I have reliable transportation. I will not have pets at my apartment due to size. I'd rather go to the owner's home for an easier transition for the dog/cat. To make it easier, I need a detailed schedule and a phone number to contact owners for updates and photos.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life; big medium small. I have always been able to create connections with furry friends by giving them lots of love and attention. I’m very attentive when it comes to taking care of senior dogs and their needs. As well as being just as playful as puppies are. I’m currently on summer break before I go to college to become a pediatrician. This being said, my schedule is very available for a long while! For my dog at home, I treat her like family! I walk her daily, feed her twice a day, and give her snuggles and lots of love. I take her outside in the backyard about every hour in the fenced in backyard and she’ll run around and go nuts chasing her ball, and running after rabbits.
About: My family has been part of Rover for 10 years and have gained a network of regular animals. I have taken care of many types and breeds of animals including my own family pets. I've had 3 dogs, 3 cats, a chinchilla, a guinea pig, and fish so I can handle most animals. Overall, I am pretty open on weekdays after 11:00 am and can do overnight stays as well. I am available all day on weekends as well. I am in an apartment that does not allow pets so I am looking to have time with animals through Rover. I miss my animals back home since I am away at college so I would never put an animal in danger since I know how important a pet can be to someones life.
About: Hi there, my name is Sami! I've lived with dogs my whole life, big and small - some of which include a Golden Retriever, a Yorkie, and a Maltese. My sister occasionally comes over with her Goldendoodle, and I love spending time with my aunt's Bernese Mountain Dogs when I can visit them. I plan to adopt my own dog later in the future, and perhaps enroll them as a therapy dog to bring comfort to others. I've watched both my sister's and parents' dogs while they are away for the day, and I have some experience in caring for them when they were puppies. I used to walk my parents' dogs in the past, as well. I enjoy interacting with dogs as a whole, and I put their safety and comfort first. I'm an introvert who lives a quiet lifestyle, but I also love to have fun, so if your furry friend needs someone to hang out with while you're away, I'll be there for them! NOTE: Though I adore cats, I am unfortunately allergic and therefore cannot interact with them directly if you have any in your home. I can still feed or play with them via a cat teaser or laser pointer, but I cannot pet them or pick them up. :( Currently, I am seeking full-time work in my field of behavioral therapy. I am in the early stages of hire at an elementary school in Minooka, so I will be manually updating my Rover schedule to provide some availability Monday through Friday, with 4:00pm at the earliest. On Saturdays and Sundays, I am available during afternoons and evenings, though prior arrangements in advance can be made for a morning walk or drop-in visit! I will update my schedule as soon as anything changes. If you have any questions regarding my schedule for a particular day or week, please don’t hesitate to message me! IMPORTANT: As per Rover’s Terms of Service, please note that I cannot share private contact details or accept methods of payment outside of Rover. This is for the safety and security of all parties involved. When out on a walk, I will make sure your friend is kept safe and away from hazards or things they may be uncomfortable with. When dropping in for a visit, I will make sure their needs are met and everything is secured for their safety. They would never be left unsupervised, and they'll get lots of love and playtime! I will gladly send photos and text updates upon request. Please do let me know your communication frequency preferences, so I don't accidentally disturb you with messages!
About: Hello! I've always had lots of pets growing up and have a love for furry companions. They truly are the heart of the family! Many friends and family will lean on me to watch over pets when they leave town and I'm looking to extend this service out to the community around me. I love walking dogs, playing with pets, and just giving them company. I'm extremely flexible with my schedule since I am a grad student in physical therapy and can accommodate any needs. Open to dog/house sitting, cat sitting, walking, and will include lots of belly scratches to any pets- big or small! I would love to help out in any way I can to make sure your furry family member gets the best care they can get! I can't wait to meet your pets! Until May, I just have class M - F 8a-12p. From May 13 - July 10th, I will have clinical and be working 40 hours a week with varying start/end times. Completely free on weekends! Very comfortable with working in whatever environment your pet is most comfortable with. Experience with fences, invisible fences, lines, and crating. I’m extremely respectful of maintaining a home environment and keeping up with a pet’s normal daytime routine!
About: My family has three big dogs, who I love and care for so much. I have many years of training, walking, dog sitting, and dog-loving experience. I am a full time student who has free time during school breaks, some mornings, and some weekends. Which allows me plenty of time, but never enough with my furry friends. I walk both of my dogs, together whenever I get the chance too. Your pet’s safety is my main priority, and then comes the fun! I love to be sure that my dogs live their lives to the fullest by walking them and allowing them to experie the outdoors as much as possible.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life! I have experience with dog sitting and dog walking! Always excited to meet a new puppy! I am free all afternoons! But if needed in the morning or evening let me know! I’m always willing to negotiate a schedule to whatever is easiest for you! Unfortunately I am in an apartment so I will not be able to pet sit at my home, but whenever your pet needs to go outside I will keep an eye on them (especially if there is no fence)! I am able to lead a pet into a crate if needed. If there is anything else you would like me to do while with your pet let me know!
About: I volunteer for a local dog rescue as well as foster dogs through them! I have dogs of my own and I look forward to helping with your fur babies as needed! References available if desired! I’m available teacher hours and off for summer currently! During the school year I’m only available after school and weekends unless it’s during breaks over holidays! I take the care of your dog(s) very seriously as I would like the same done for me when I’m not able to be present! I am comfortable with walks, play time and whatever else is needed as well as sending picture updates!
