About: ** I took some time off of Rover and I am back with a limited schedule due to work hours** I am an avid dog lover and dog mom to 2 pups. Most of my life has revolved around dogs and I wouldn’t want it any other way! At a young age, I was trusted by all of the nieghbors to dog sit. After college, I was fortunate enough to foster a few rescues from a local humane society. Fostering dogs was a very rewarding experience as it gave me my 2 babies, Milo and Bear. Unfortunately, Bear and Milo have now passed and I miss them terribly everyday. I currently have a Doberman named Ambrose and an Australian Shepard named Max. They are a bonded pair and have so much energy! I have experience with very large dogs and puppies as young as 2 months old— but I am comfortable with all breeds! I am available for dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. If you would like me to board your dog in my home, I welcome that as well! As long as they are dog friendly; my pups would love a new friend 😊 During the day on weekdays I work a full-time hybird job with flexibility. A pets health mentally and physically is really important to me as I make sure they get the right exercise, rest, attention and love they of course deserve. Keeping them with their daily routines and schedule is also very necessary to me when it comes to feedings and water, play inside and outside, rest and walks which are my favorite. Keeping my clients home clean and protected is also something very important to me as it helps the dog be familiar in their safe and comfortable space and also help the owner gain trust and rely on me as much as possible! About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 7 years old. I took care of my pet fish since I was 5 and then started walking dogs at age 7. I can walk, feed, bathe, play, you name it I can do it! I am also able to administer medicine. I am a full-time second year law student at NIU! I moved to the Midwest from New York about a year ago. My fiancé and I currently share a 2 year old HIGH ENERGY bull terrier mix that we love with our whole hearts so per care is a daily routine in our house. I currently work Tuesday-Thursday for the DuPage County States Attorneys Office and then I am free the rest of the week. I can crate dogs easily if needed but I am also all for free roaming! I love to be outside with your pets in a fenced area to ensure their safety. Samantha herself was super friendly to my husband and me and listened to all our concerns and instructions regarding Kai without complaint (it was our first time leaving her, so we were nervous, but with Samantha, we honestly had no reason to be as she was great with Kai!). Samantha also sent updates on Kai's behavior along with picture periodically throughout her boarding which was terrific for my husband and I and kept us feeling very at ease having Kai away from us. Through her updates, we saw Kai playing and cuddling and having loads of fun during her stay. We highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for dog boarding, and we will most certainly book her again in the future for our Kai Puppy!!”
