About: I was the neighborhood baby/dog sitter for most of my teens and even now I do the occasional dog sitting for a week or so for family friends. About: I grew up in a household of large dogs, I am very good at reading body language, and I have an incredible amount of free time to dedicate to any extra needs! I am currently available everyday and any drop off hour works for me. I wake up with the sun so morning walks will be a breeze as I also live down the street from a park and down the road from a forest preserve. I live in a 6-bedroom house, occupied by two adults, backyard is not closed in, but there are many nearby parks available for playtime. 3 pets, 2 bearded dragons enclosed in a separated terrarium which is located upstairs, and a 7 month old cane corso. All are incredibly friendly and curious but can be given their own space if need be.

Mercedes completely eased my worries with her warm, welcoming nature and exceptional organization.She gave Mugzy extra special attention, making him feel loved and completely at home. He had a wonderful time socializing with Mercedes and her children. Thanks to this experience, I feel entirely confident leaving him in her care for my upcoming travel.To top it all off, Mercedes baked delicious brownies for me, made special treats for Mugzy, and gave him a bath so he was fresh and clean at pickup. “I’ve never left Truffle with anyone but family members. She and I have been inseparable since her original pet mommy (my mother) passed. Needless to say she is extremely spoiled and I was very apprehensive about leaving her with anyone!! But from the first initial meeting with Jenni and her son that doubt started to melt away. And by the second day into my weekend getaway I was totally comfortable with Truffle being in Jenni and her little assistants care. After I shared the many adorable photos, My family members teased that Truffle was enjoying her vacation just as much or more. And my grandchildren were jealous that Truffle had a new found little friend🤣”
About: I was the neighborhood baby/dog sitter for most of my teens and even now I do the occasional dog sitting for a week or so for family friends. I have taken care of dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I recently started fostering kittens and have a newfound love for those little guys too! I’ve owned bunnies and hamsters, watched a snake, taken care of a bird. You name it I’m sure I’ve had some sort of experience with it! I’d be so happy to take care of your critter too <3 I work from home! Rest assured your little buddy will get lots of attention in my care. If they have a more strict letting out schedule that’s absolutely no problem! I have a small mix dog, with two friendly cats. I work from home and can spend more time than the average person with your pet. I have a non fenced in yard, but am happy to take out on walks or on their leash in my yard.
“This is my first time using rover. Needed a last minute sitter, Michelle happened to be available for the days that i needed. She was very accommodating with the meet and greet. I knew right then and there that i found the perfect sitter. My dog loved being there. Her family was very sweet and i knew my dog was going to be in good hands. I got updated daily with pics. They even made her a couple of sweaters. My dog was very relaxed there because of the love and care that Michelle showed her. I highly recommend Michelle as a dog sitter. Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own. We would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we would not hesitate to book with her again in the future. “I will 1000% use Meaghan again. She accepted my dog into her home and treated her like she was part of the family. From family outings, to walks, to hanging out with her and her children, my dog was always included. I love that she sends morning updates with pictures. Being able to see that she is calm and comfortable with Meaghan and her family is very reassuring. My dog is very anxious, especially when we go out of town, and tends not to eat when we are gone. Meaghan was consistent and patient with her and finally was able to get her to eat on the 2nd or 3rd day.”
