“Definitely 5 stars for Kathleen!!! She kept me informed with messages and photos on how they were doing, and even a video showing our dogs playing together. She was so caring and attentive to them, and I know they were very well taken care of. She kept them very active and had a lot of outside time in her nice fenced backyard. She also was agreeable to modifying our pickup time when I was running later than planned. I will use her again if I'm back in the area & highly encourage others to use her.”

About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.

Me and my boyfriend work mornings and get lunch breaks half way through, so we’d be able to check on your animals even while working and we can be with them all afternoon. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we are both off so they’d get us all day! We have a 2 story house with lots of room for them to lay around and have their own space if needed. We also have a large backyard that is fenced off already for our dogs.

About: I have been around dogs since I can remember. I love to talk to my dogs like they are my kids. Play with them to keep them active and moving around. I treat every dog like they are my own I’m currently going to school so working part time. I love dogs so this works perfectly with my schedule and I get to hangout with dogs all day I have a fenced in yard, and keep an eye my dogs whenever they are outside to make sure they are okay. About: I have always had a special connection with animals, dogs especially, and grown up being called an animal whisper. Ive had dogs of all ages my whole life. I have experience with puppies, adults and senior dog care. Currently learning more and more about training dogs and using thoes techniques on my husky mix. Im all for giving your furry friends the care they deserve❤️I dont have any cats! I am currently working at an Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility in Yorkville and my shift is 6am-2pm. My schedule changes every other week. Although my boyfriend works the 3pm-11pm shift so someone is home most of the time. I am not totally free but I would be willing to work something out! My house has a front and back yard-not too big. We use a tie out for our dog and we have a few extras if needed for your dog! Me and my boyfriend live in a two bedroom duplex. Most areas of the house is dog proofed and we have plenty of toys for both to play with. My dog does really good with other dogs and loves to have company and a friend to play with. He is still younger so he can be hyper at first but will eventually calm down:)
