“I knew from our first meeting that Nathan and Jackie were the right choice to take care of my Sophie for the 2 weeks I would be in Japan. And I was right. They sent daily pictures/videos of: Sophie playing with their dogs Reilly and Bailey; the kids walking, holding, and loving on Sophie; and photos of some well-deserved chill time. We had excellent communication for the duration of Sophie’s stay with them. Nathan contacted me about a week into her stay to report an issue that he felt needed reviewed by her vet. I agreed and Nathan made the appointment, then took her for a vet visit. The vet also agreed with Nathan and gave Sophie 2 prescriptions. Nathan paid for the vet visit and meds himself (since I was not available at the time). For the next week, Nathan and Jackie gave Sophie the meds prescribed and reported back to me how she was doing with her medical issue. I am so thankful for Nathan’s keen observation and proactive stance on Sophie’s health. The vet visit and daily meds were more than they signed up for and they just took care of it all. I will definitely be taking Sophie back for future boardings, and may even have to take her for occasional visits so she can play with the dogs and the kids!”

About: I started pet sitting when I worked at my first vet clinic. And, because I love animals so much, I have never stopped. I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks and every pet in between! Currently, I have 2 dogs, a Jack-Russell mix named Jake and a Beagle mix named Macy. They are extremely pet/people friendly and they love new company! Also, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a a few years, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and taking care of your pets special needs. I will provide whatever accommodations that are needed and I will make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable. Most of all, I will always keep an open line of communication with you. I know how it feels being away form your pet and I know the importance of regular updates and pics. I currently work from home full time. This means I can fully dedicate all of my time to your fur babies and their individual needs. I will care for your pet/pets the same way every single time. And, I will always treat your pet/pets as is if he or she were my own.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish from the ripe age of 10! I have had animals from the size of teacup yorkies to the size of Rottweilers so size doesn’t challenge me. I currently work full time Sunday-Wednesday and find myself with a lot of free time the rest of the week so I’d love to get to play and help with your best friend as much as I’m able to get I am able to follow all the rules you provide with your best friend and am able to accommodate with any requests to keep you stress free!
About: I grew up always having/taking care of dogs. I also pet sit regularly now. I love animals and would love to have this as something to do outside of work! I also have two kitties named Blue and Harley, so have a lot of experience with cheeky cats, too. I currently work from home, so all I need is my hotspot and laptop. I can house sit for you basically for any length of time and any day/time. I have reliable transportation. I try to leave the home as good as or better than I found it. About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. I have a soft spot for all animals as they go through all stages of life :) I work from home and set my own hours, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I am open to many kinds of arrangements- one time sitting, a weekly routine, daily walks, weekends, etc. I am extremely fortunate to have a flexible schedule. My teen daughter and I live in a large 4 bedroom home, so we have tons of space to accommodate furry friends who need company. We do not have a fenced in yard, but our neighborhood is great for long walks. Our neighborhood has trails through the woods and a home owner’s association that maintains the trails. We have lots of fun walking the trails. I am an avid jogger/walker. I go out everyday, regardless of the weather. I have a very active lifestyle! We recently adopted a cat, but he stays in his own area on a different level of the house. He has claimed my daughter as his and lives in her room. When dogs come to stay with us, he typically stays in his room & pups never see him, although he has made friends with some of our regularly visiting pups 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule. When I do have to be away from home for work, I am gone about 2-3 hrs at a time. My daughter is at home often and also helps with pups. She is great with animals! We both like to take frequent walks throughout the day! In my home, I have a large open floor plan with tons of windows. During the day, I like to have pups next to me in my office, but some like to lay in prime viewing area of all the windows.

“As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! We’re so grateful for her wonderful care and will absolutely be leaving Banjo with her for all our future trips. Highly recommend!!”
