“We were nervous about leaving Winston with a sitter as he generally has only been left with family in his own home previously. We need not have worried. Angelina was just the best. From a pre-board meet and greet at her home to meeting her other dogs we were at ease before he went there and when we dropped him off he was so happy and content. She introduced him slowly to her other dogs so he wasn't overwhelmed and he had the time of his life. Her house is beautifully set up to look after pets. The regular photos and videos not only put our mind at rest but showed him socializing and playing with others and just generally having a good time. About: I have grown up on a farm where I have acquired most of my skills and knowledge of animals. At a very young age I started training and showing dogs in obedience, which soon led into me showing horses in jumping and dressage. I attended Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre in West Virginia where I achieved many certifications. Now, 32, I still train and show dogs and also still stuck on those horses! Over the last 10 years, friends, family and neighbors have entrusted me with taking care of their dogs. 2 years ago, I took on the venture of fostering dogs in my home. My experience with them has been with puppies through adult dogs. Special needs dogs are welcome too, as I have experience with dogs with seizure disorder and other chronic issues. During the time the foster dogs are in my care, I work to establish a routine, learn basic commands and household manners. I work from home Monday-Friday. About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.

About: I currently have two small dogs who I take care of full time. I’ve had them for 2 years now. I love playing with dogs, rubbing their tummy, or just hanging out with them. If your dog has separation anxiety that will not be a problem. One of my dogs is the same way and I wouldn’t mind being there full time for your dog. Pet care fits into my schedule perfectly because most of my days consist of being home taking care of my two small dogs. I’m also a nursing student so it helps that I have a lot of time after studying to play with the dogs/puppies. I have a fenced yard. It is pretty big. In order to keep my dogs safe I always make sure doors are closed before letting them out and as a special precaution I like to add an AirTag to their collars in case anything happens (has not happened yet but it’s better to be safe than sorry).

Dogs are supervised at all times while outside, even within a fenced yard. If there is no fenced yard, they will be taken outside on a leash. Each visit is an individual visit with your pet alone so there will be no other interaction with pets unless you have others of your own.

About: My whole life I’ve had animals cats dogs farm animals I love them all. I’ve handled big dogs and small dogs and have sitted for friends when they leave for vacation. I currently work full time but still have time on weekends and Wednesday evenings to take care of any pet of all sizes. About: I have had dogs since I was born. My family has always had a dog. For 18 years, I had my own dogs. I’ve also watched friends and family member’s dogs. I will go to their houses and let their dogs out for them, walk them, etc. I work part time at a local elementary school as a TA. About: I've taken care of pets since I was young. I've always had a dog growing up! After moving to Sycamore in 1998, I moved into a farm. We had almost every farm animal, as well as cats. I've had all of my dogs from puppies until the end. Come summer, I am free all the time! I work at the school district! Just weekends are softball. My oldest is on a traveling team! I know how important daily exercise and sniffing time is for the wellbeing of all dogs, but especially for puppies and our reactive dogs. I love spending time with dogs and getting to know all the wonderful things that they find joy in and those fun personality traits that make them unique! My life revolves around helping dogs live happier, fuller lives. When dogs stay with me we begin our dogs with a stroll through the trails of our wooded property before settling down with a chew or frozen project. Depending on the dog there may be some short, fun, training sessions, play time with my dogs, or play time with me before their afternoon naptime. In the evenings we set out on another walk or adventure to a nature preserve. I have a fully fenced back yard space where dogs are able to potty and play off-leash. Additionally we have trails throughout our property where dogs get to enjoy lovely walks on a long-line. Dogs are crated overnight. I have the ability to either crate them next to my own dogs for company, or to set them up in their own "private suite" where they don't need to worry about other dogs being close to them while they rest. I do require all clients to leave me with their current veterinarian's contact information and emergency contact details should something unexpected happen. I want you to feel confident that your pet's health and safety is taken seriously during their vacation with me.
