About: I have experience in boarding dogs, walking dogs, and grooming dogs.I have experience in training as well because of having my beautiful and playful Australian shepherd. Currently I work as a freelancing groomer so I can create my own schedule to an extent. I am usually able to be off by 2:30. I have a fenced in backyard and a spacious home. I have pet toys of my own given that I have another dog who is also very trusting with other dogs.
“This was our second time using Bridget. And from the moment we pulled into her driveway, we knew it was going to be good. Our dog knew where she was, and was so excited to see her friends, that she was not the least bit upset about us leaving her there. I really think our dog views them as her second family.”

About: Lifelong animal lover experienced in nature walks, companion feedings, soothing chest rubs, treat distribution, and earning a cats trust. I will make sure your pets are happy, safe, and properly spoiled while you’re away! I am currently working part time after a career shift. My days have too much down time and I decided to fill those hours doing something I love! I closely monitor outdoor time to ensure the pet is secure in the yard. I remain aware and assess surroundings when walking dogs to prepare for any triggers the dog may have. I closely follow food, and potty, schedules so as not to upset the pet and to make transition of care easier.
“Angelo and Dawn were very kind and welcoming to our two babies. Our 1 year old cavapoo Frederick is used to being around people and dogs, so we weren’t concerned with him getting comfortable, but our 5 month old havanese Charlotte is not. They made me and my husband feel at ease that they would be well cared for, and we got regular video updates showing just that. Charlotte was just fine and came out of her shell a little. They were happy to accommodate their fresh food feeding (I make their food with TFD DIY) and using the slow feeder bowls I brought. I will definitely be using them for all overnight boarding.”

“Lisa was a blessing She took very good care of Bruno while i was away. Me and my wife were gone for 5 days and in that time i never had to worry about my pet. Lisa sent me pictures and texts every day. This service only lets me give 5 stars but i would give 10 if i could. Thank you again Lisa. I'm going to let everyone know about you and the Rover app.”

“Our dog Rocky had a great time with Kristine and her adorable dog Blue. Kristine gave us updates about how Rocky is doing with pictures and video. Definitely recommend her and will use her service again. We appreciate her taking care of Rocky.”

“Jeff’s house is well appointed for your fur babies. My babies enjoyed the freedom of the fenced in yard, and found their own places in his home. Jeff had a water bowl out for them and I thought that was neat. He was very observant of their time outside in the heat. Jeff goes over and above and keeps in great contact. He really “gets” our dog’s personality traits. No problems, no worries, just great service. Go with the best. Thanks, Jeff.”

“Julie and her family were wonderful with our boy Finley!! He had all of the same comforts as home and was very well taken care of. I will definitely bring Finley back!!”

“Beth was excellent! This was a great experience, I would definitely recommend Beth (and her sweet little dog Gracie!) and will be sure to reach out to her again when needed. Thank you so much, Beth!”

“Magda and her family took great care of Coconut. She felt as if it was her home. They sent pictures and updates all the time when we were away. We will surely go back again. Thank you very much”

“Rachel was great with Kimble. He’s a big dog (160 lb English mastiff) and she took great care of him. It was so nice to be able to enjoy our vacation knowing that he was getting great care and was getting loved the way we would. We definitely will be using her again.”

“Mariah is a wonderful sitter, she took great care of my baby. She took him on walks, played with him and had plenty of treats. I appreciated her sending pictures and videos while I was away to ease my mind. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals as long as I can remember! My parents adopted our first dog when I was only 4 years old. Tala was a Siberian husky that I took care of daily from a very young age. Throughout my childhood I grew up with medium/larger dogs such as German shepherds, huskies, pitbulls, and a Great Dane. My love for animals didn’t stop there! As a kid I regularly helped a family friend on her farm take care of wild and farm animals that she rehabbed such as bunnies, raccoons, squirrels, chickens, horses, cows, goats, etc. Now that I live on my own with my husband, we own 2 silly orange cats (4yo) and 2 dogs. Our 2 beagles, Starla(6yo) and Ellie (4yo), are ‘retired research hero’s’, meaning they were lab test animals for human medical research, they even have tattoos inside their right ears! They do great meeting new animals. But due to their life in the lab and awkward lack of learning other dogs body natural language, they require a meet and greet with any pets that plan on staying in our home just to ensure all animals clearly feel comfortable with each other. They are beyond friendly dogs that don’t know what a ‘stranger’ is and will accept love from anyone. Starla has seizures, and because of this I have plenty of experience with handling her during an episode. I would more than willing to board/take care of another pet who suffers from medical conditions! I personally know how nerve racking it is to leave our little fur babies life in the hands of another person that we hardly know. Ellie has a poultry allergy and we’ve become pretty good at checking the labels before feeding anything to her. It was quite surprising to see just how many pet items have poultry in them! I also suffer from a nut allergy, so I also know beyond animals just how dangerous it can be. You can feel more than safe trusting me with your fur babies allergies! I take all forms of special conditions very seriously. I’m currently a college student at ONU, but live in my own home that I own off campus. I do not work at this time and have very few classes that are physically on campus. I love meeting new people and animals especially. I have a fenced in yard where my beagles love to run around. While it is safely fence in, my animals are never left unattended as my animals safety is always a priority. During nice weather I love to take my dogs on walks out at Perry Farms or the Kankakee State Park. These are the places I choose for the safest and cleanest walking paths to keep my pups safe. Before walks I always check the pavement to ensure safe temperature for the little paws. I also spray my pups with Wondercides natural flea & tick repellent to further ensure safety for their health when going on walks. My house is only 1 level. The only stairs your pet would be required to climb are the ones going in and out of the house. While I do have a basement, only the cats are allowed down there. I am still new to the pet sitting world, but I am so excited!

“Our first time using Rover and Leslie has been great! Gave great notes and check in and was very patient with our cats. Very quick and accommodating with adding visits when our travel plans changed. Amazing!”

“Olivia took great care of our boys. She put our minds at ease and did everything we asked. She’s very kind and compassionate. We will definitely ask her to watch the boys again!!”

“They should have more than 5 stars for her. One of our dogs had a medical issue. She assessed the situation and helped us feel at ease about what happened. You can tell that she cares a great deal about animals. We will book again. Thank you so much”

“Samantha is the best! So greatful she was our sitter. Samantha followed all the instructions I had to take care of my senior (18 yr) cat. Her and Noel became friends after a few days. I would definitely trust Samantha with my pets. She was even nice enough to leave additional lights on knowing we were going to come home late.”

Which is Tues-Sat 4pm-11pm tho so I’m anytime free before then. & I am off every Sunday and Monday I rent a home with a fenced in backyard. I do currently have 2 dogs. (Chihuahua mixes and a heeler mix.) they are crate trained so if you’re more comfortable with them staying separated from your baby(ies) that is absolutely no problem, depending on the duration of the stay.
About: Taking care of your animal will be my number one priority. I love animals, I will be more than attentive to their needs and accommodate anything you would like. I’m available any time you need me and I will take in any animal, big, small, furry, hairless, you name it! I love them all. I’ve had animals my whole life so I know how to take care of dogs, I’ve had cats now for 5 years and kittens and it’s a handful but it has taught me so many things needed to be a perfect sitter! I love getting pets toys, and fancy food sometimes to spoil them so expect that (if it’s fone with the owner) of course. I can’t wait to meet you and your lovely pet!
About: I have had animals since I was a kid. We fostered kittens, dogs, and I have owned dogs and cats my whole life. My sister works at an animal shelter as well and has taught me many things to keep animals safe. I currently work full time so I typically am free at lunch, after work, and all weekends! I am flexible as well in the mornings. I am aware of all doors and locks. I make sure to ask specific questions regarding the needs of pets and what the owner needs such as check ins with photos, scooping cat litter, adjusting air, replenishing food and water, etc.
About: Hi! My name is Ruthie, and I’ve been around dogs my whole life (& have adopted my best friend of four years!) From training puppies to caring for senior dogs, I have experience with all stages of a pup’s life. I’ve also pet-sat for family dogs on and off for about two years and have had my own dogs for 8 years, so I understand how important it is to find someone reliable and trustworthy to care for your furry family members. I’m patient, attentive, and love spending time with dogs—whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just giving them the attention they deserve. I also have experience with basic training and can reinforce commands if needed. Every dog has their own personality, and I take the time to ensure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I am currently taking online summer classes with a part time job. Pet care naturally fits into my schedule and I am happy to be flexible for your scheduling needs! I provide pet care through check-in visits and dog walking. I prioritize each pet’s routine and comfort, ensuring they feel safe and well cared for while their owner is away. Please let me know any important details about your dog or anything I should prepare in advance to help them feel as comfortable as possible.
About: I've loved animals as long as I can remember. At the age of five, I got my first two pets a pair of red-eared slider turtles. However, my love for animals didn't stop there as over the years I have cared for many pets including an Australian Whites' tree frog, several toads and frogs, bearded dragons, cats, a praying mantis, a bunny, and a tortoise. Which all led up to me getting my dog, Rose, at the age of 13. I love animals and I am currently in my third year of college pursuing a Zoology degree. Besides my experience of caring for all of my pets over the years, I have also pet sat on multiple occasions for others. I have watched various dogs, and in my most memorable experience I took care of two dogs and 25 guinea pigs for a week! I am happy to take care of any kind of pets you have whether it has fur, scales, feathers, or anything else! I am currently at school and have no other job so I should have plenty of time to take care of your animal friends! I am available after 3 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; after 6 on Mondays and Tuesdays; and anytime on the weekends! In addition in the morning and around noon on most days I am free and should be able to stop by if need be! At my home we have three indoor dogs that I let outside as needed on a leash and feed once in the morning and again at night. Currently I am staying in a apartment on campus and have a pet toad that gets misted with water once per day and fed a variety of worms or other bugs every other day.

“Anna was great! I couldn’t have been happier with choosing her. This was my first time using a day care and she accepted me last minute. My Tator is only 4 months and he enjoyed socializing. “I'm in from out of town and was looking for a sitter for a couple of days. After reviewing profiles on Rover, I came across Danielle's profile and decided to book based on her reviews. I absolutely love animals, and I've had experience caring for a large variety of them. I've watched 4 large dogs at a time, all of whom needed special medication and attention. I care for every animal like they're my own, and just absolutely love being around dogs. I have a spacious home and I am very attentive. I live in a safe neighborhood, and I am by my phone 24/7 so can be in contact with you at any time. I work remotely and sometimes have to go in to the office. My husband is almost always home, and we always make sure someone is at home to be with the animals. Care is always personalized to the dogs needs. We go for regular walks, follow any dietary restrictions, and always check with the pet-parent if there's anything else needed.

About: ‼️Please read entirety of bio prior to sending a booking request Please note: My Rover profile information may not always be the most up to date, as I also own and operate my own pet care business - but I still get notifications here! Please message me so we can discuss your specific needs and availability! Hi, I’m Bee! I’m a medically retired police officer turned professional pet care provider. Pet care is my full-time work, not a side hobby. I take a calm, structured, safety-first approach and focus on low-stress care that allows pets to feel secure, respected, and comfortable. I have years of hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including seniors, rescues, anxious dogs, puppies, large breeds, and special-needs pets. ⸻ What I Offer • In-home dog boarding in a low-volume, structured environment • Structured dog daycare with supervised play and rest breaks • Drop-in visits for feeding, potty breaks, enrichment, and medications • Dog walks tailored to your dog’s comfort, energy level (must not pull heavily on leash) • Care for seniors, rescues, anxious, and special-needs dogs • Slow, intentional introductions and individualized care plans • Solo or one-on-one care options when appropriate for daycare and boarding • Real-time updates with plenty of photos and detailed written notes ‼️I do not provide boarding or daycare for cats, and I do not offer overnight stays in clients’ homes. ‼️Meet and Greets are mandatory to schedule any service. ‼️My two dogs, Trooper and Moose, will NOT be present for the meet and greet for boarding and daycare ‼️Dates are not reserved unless a deposit is prepaid in advance. ‼️Dogs must be crate trained to stay at Bee’s Bed and Barkfast daycare and boarding. This is a non negotiable for safety, feeding, rest and safe transitions. ‼️Boarding can be booked anytime, as long as the dates are within the next 3 months. I do not book out more than 3 months in advance. I am available generally anytime between sunrise and sunset. Due to a vision disability, I may occasionally need to adjust timing on very rainy days, and I do not drive after dark. If weather requires a schedule shift, I’ll always communicate in advance and ensure your pet still receives attentive, high-quality care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. I provide intentional, structured care designed to reduce stress, prevent issues before they happen, and create a calm, predictable experience for both pets and owners. This applies whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or in mine. How I care for pets & homes: • Safety-first, prevention-focused handling at all times • Calm routines that prioritize rest, enrichment, and emotional regulation • Respectful care of your home… clean, secure, and exactly how you left it • Doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions double-checked every visit • Clear, proactive communication so you’re never left wondering how things are going Boarding & Daycare Environment: • Low-volume, home-based care, not a brick and mortar storefront or warehouse-style daycare • Structured daycare with supervised interactions and enforced rest breaks • Slow, intentional introductions tailored to each dog’s comfort level • Solo or one-on-one care available for dogs who need space or prefer independence at an increased rate • Crate training mandatory to ensure smooth transitions and safety How I differ from other sitters: • I do not force interactions or “let dogs work it out” • I do not overbook or rotate large groups of unfamiliar dogs • I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach Instead, I focus on individualized care, clear boundaries, and calm structure, the kind of environment where dogs can truly settle, decompress, and feel secure.
“It was my first time taking my Rocky to Jennifer. Jennifer was wonderful with Rocky and kept me posted throughout the day of how he was doing. Rocky was able to play with the other pups and sure got his exercise for the day. He was one pooped pup when he came home. We have Jennifer booked for a week for our vacation in August. I feel like Rocky is getting a vacation too! Lots of fun and socialization.”

About: I am currently a college student studying to be a veterinarian. I am a certified Veterinary Technician Assistant, who is also fear free certified . I have always loved animals and have been taking care of them since I was 5. I’m just currently doing online classes, and it involves me working at my own pace, so I have a lot of time on my hands. I would like to do pet care to fill in my free time. I have a very large yard and three very friendly dogs to keep your pet company. I will make sure that your pets are safe, clean and fed. Even in your own home, I will make sure the best care is being given!
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of hands-on pet care experience. I helped care for my childhood dog from the time I was 8 until she passed away when I was 24. Walking her — especially in her senior years — was one of the highlights of my day, and it taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and unconditional love. Now I have three cats of my own (Winter, Ashtray, and Violet), and I absolutely adore them. Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a vet or living on a farm surrounded by animals — that love has only grown stronger with time. I treat every pet I care for like they’re family, and I’m always focused on making them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I’m looking to care for your furry friends on weekends!, especially in the late morning and early afternoon. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to give your pet the time and love they need while you’re away or busy. My apartment is cat-friendly but unfortunately does not allow dogs, so I won’t be able to board dogs in my home. However, I’d love to offer dog walking and drop-in services instead! I enjoy being active and going on walks, and I’m excited to give your pup some fresh air, exercise, and one-on-one attention while you’re away.

About: With over 5 years of hands-on dog watching experience, I provide more than supervision I provide stability, attentiveness, and genuine care. Over the years, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages. From energetic puppies who need structured activity to senior dogs who thrive on a calm, predictable pace, I understand how important it is to adapt to each dog’s individual needs. What truly sets me apart is the balance I bring between structure and affection. Dogs feel most secure when their routine stays consistent, so I make it a priority to maintain their normal schedule as closely as possible. My daily routine typically includes on-time feedings, fresh water refresh, bathroom breaks, and exercise tailored to your dog’s energy level. Whether that means long walks, active play sessions, enrichment activities, or simply relaxed companionship, I adjust based on what your dog needs that day. Beyond the basics, I focus on mental stimulation and emotional well-being. I reinforce positive behaviors, engage in interactive play, and ensure your dog has both active time and calm downtime. I work overnight shifts during the week, and I dedicate my weekends fully to pet care. This allows me to provide focused, unrushed attention from Friday through Sunday. I intentionally keep my weekend availability open for pet sitting so I can give each pet consistent, quality care without overbooking. Weekend care includes structured routines with feedings, walks, playtime, enrichment, and calm companionship tailored to your pet’s needs. I make sure their schedule stays consistent and stress-free while you’re away. When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep everything as normal and stress-free as possible. Pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I prioritize maintaining their routine, respecting their space, and creating a calm, consistent presence while you’re away.

About: Growing up I cared for my two dogs, an Australian cattle dog mix and a German shepherd. We loved them both to the ripe old ages of 16 and 12 respectively. In high school I spent my free time at the local animal shelter volunteering to walk and play with the various dog breeds. My entire life I have loved caring for all types of animals, so this is an amazing opportunity for me to meet even more. I am currently a college student attending school 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). All other days of the week I am free to be booked! My yard is big, but unfenced so I will have to have your dog on a leash for our walks and playtime. I do own a crate and can use it if necessary, but all the specific care instructions can be discussed individually.

“This was our second time using Bridget. And from the moment we pulled into her driveway, we knew it was going to be good. Our dog knew where she was, and was so excited to see her friends, that she was not the least bit upset about us leaving her there. I really think our dog views them as her second family.”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with someone. I was so happy that Ollie was happy. I didn’t feel stressed out about her while I was gone. Jennifer communicated every day with me and sent pictures. I am great full to her and her husband for taking care of Ollie for me! I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter!”

“After rescuing our pup not more than 7 months ago, we didn't know what to expect when going out of town. Kate was nothing short of a blessing. With her profound knowledge of animal care, and large area for numerous animals to play and explore, we knew she was the one for our Moose. It was only a short two day trip, but every step of the way, she was eager to let us know how moose was while we were away. We cannot recommend Kate more! Thank you Kate!”

“Francesca was absolutely amazing with our pitty! She sent pictures and kept communication when needed. I felt extremely confident and comfortable leaving my dog with her. It made our vacation that much more enjoyable knowing Maverick was well taken care of. We will definitely be using her again! 5 stars- Highly recommend!”

“Very satisfied with the care my dog received while we were away. Communication was quick and seamless before and during the stay. I would recommend anyone to her & will definitely be rebooking again in the future!”

“Megan was awesome with my dog, Jemma. She is loving and attentive, and it’s obvious how much she cares for dogs. Her golden retriever and my dog had a blast for four days and I would certainly book with her again.”
“Archer had a wonderful time at Karen’s. With his puppy behavior and not being around other dogs much I was a little worried. Karen was kind and reassuring. She kept me updated on his behavior through our trip. Archer settled in and made himself at home. She will be at the top of our list next time care is needed for Archer.”
